You do recall that the logo changed due to a law suit from a guy in the area who felt that his drawing was infringed upon. It had nothing what at all to do with the uni makers.

Will there be shoes that will be made by Nike to be put on all 1,800 players and the coaches? Not even Reeboks and Addidas?!
