  1. what is that horse doing in that second picture? It looks like it's having a stroke.
  2. You are right about that. The Denver fans and media were looking past us. By the way post of the day came from a Chargers fan on the ESPN board:
  3. Has anyone every heard of him before? I have literally never seen that guy before (and I watch a ton of football), but I really like him. All the reviews were spot on, and I loved that he didn't take the tuck rule cop out on the Manning fumble.
  4. So awesome. soooooo awesome
  5. LOL I was literally just telling my wife about this. Also, Double Oops
  6. I could not be more PROUD to be a Ravens fan after that gallant effort. They just wouldn't lose. Wow! Way to go Joe! Way to go Torry! Way to go Ray! Way to go Sizzle! Fuck you special teams outside of Tucker! Way to go Rice!
  7. LOL! That's a good quote
  8. There Many Yinzers like to play the "ahh the Rooneys won't put up with that" game, but it all comes down to talent. 4th string running back gets cut because he means nothing to the team (despite what the article implies). This guy is still on the roster despite going on a drunken joy ride and nearly running down police in his car. He must have talent.
  9. Not sure who will win but this will be anyones game. I hope the Donkeys are underestimating the Ravens as much as their fans are.
  10. Some people just like to complain. Even Mike Preston switches it up every once in a while papa.
  11. People are nuts. Wheres a good bookie when u need one
  12. I didn't see the same thing with Ellerbe. I thought he was fast and disruptive as he usually is. And wasn't that Ellerbe that had deep pressure on Luck that forced the intentional grounding? I love his play because he makes the Defense so much better. I just hate that he's always hurt. As for the Oline, WTF took him so long indeed? Harbs always talked about playing our best 5...well I can't believe that Bobby Williams was ever at any point in the season a better option and he started at least 2 games. I trust Harbs' judgement on personnel so Mckinney must have really @#$# up to not see the field for most of the regular season.
  13. Ok, I'm not sure what your point is papa? That there are times when officers cross the line? Of course that happens. How many of them are mass murdering people in schools, theaters and malls?
  14. Agree with you about Shanahan but I'll add that RG3 has to be smarter also. Apparently he lobbied Shanahan hard to stay in the game, but at some point you have to stop being selfish and realize you aren't helping your team (short term or long term).
  15. Early forecast for the game calls for temps in the low 20's with a 40 percent chance of snow. Bring it on! The more snow the better. When Manning chose the Broncos this past offseason, I questioned why he would go from a dome to Denver as opposed to San Fran or Arizona. I think the snow and the cold hurt Denver more than the Ravens.
  16. Courtesy of Primetime and Rich Django...and the D is not silent.
  17. There something you and I agree on. The guy is plenty talented as a backup QB so I don't know why they allow him to run around like they do. It's unnecessary risk. And how about that he said/he said with Shanahan and James Andrew?
  18. Well we don't have to worry about Manning running for 3 or 4 3rd down coverisons like Luck did today.
  19. Ray played better than I expected, int drop aside. Let's hope Ellerbe is ok, they make a good team with El's speed and Ray's instincts.
  20. You can't seriously tell me that it doesn't concern you that guns and magazines are advertisted side by side with novelty t-shirts and video games on message boards
  21. Because it's law enforcement's job to protect the general population. That is actually a good reason to have an assault weapon, not because I need a 300 bullet a minute weapon to defend myself or hunt. There will still be threats that require more than a standard issue pistol. Not to mention if you do ban assault weapons and advanced firepower, it's not like all the weapons the general public is in possession of will vaporize overnight.
  22. Lots of people stepped up today. Props to everyone you listed and special props to Joe in there for being on target and avoiding a costly turnover (though he was a bit lucky on the one pass to Smith). Boldin - way to go. We should be underdogs in Denver but we have a chance. I would much rather go to Denver than New England.
  23. He is definitely making me rethink my earlier position to just let him go. They still may have to say bye bye if he demands too much money, but the guy is valuable even if he can't cover
  24. Not just comparing him to bad Flacco, but to Good Flacco too. It's true that Shaub didn't play well down the stretch...but it's also true that even with the poor finish, schaub led the texans to 12 wins. I think he's underappreciated around the league much like Joe is. Neither one is consistent enough to be Manning, Brady, Brees or Rodgers, but each has the ability to beat those guys in a big game.
  25. I disagree about schaub. I think he has what it takes. I would be surprisrd if they dont make a game out of it. Schaub is one of those qbs that can flourish with a solid run game. He has also shown to be pretty clutch with the game on the line. I think he and flacco are very similar.
