To bring back a bit of the old days; I'm stupid because I think this game is easy.
13-4, everyone stays healthy, Lamar continues to grow in this offense, can a player actually win 3 MVP's?
-
Love the late bye week. Hate the Christmas day one and the fact that it is on a streaming service. Hopefully it will air on a local TV station so that I can record it since I don't watch night games
-
Full schedule release today, I really hate how they have turned this into a circus
-
Difficult to judge a team one way or another based on week one. Hope for a win, for them to play well, but serious injury free is all I hope for... it will be a good taste for the rookies
-
True, but by season's end, both teams will be much different, more than what they are compared to the last time they met.

The NFL announced Monday morning that the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will open the season at Arrowhead Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC

So long as he got his nutrition figured out so that he avoids tummy aches and exploding diarrhea causing him to miss practices, games... I'm good...

Stroud throws a better deep ball, right now, time will tell if Lamar ever gets more accurate on those deep throws.
But, Lamar is clearly a better scrambler, runner, which for me, puts him over CJ.
Shoot, 2 MVP's, that says it all. If he were old like Rogers, I could see it, but he isn't much older than Stroud and he just won his 2nd one.
-
Watch for him in preseason, at 6-6, 315, maybe he emerges at the right tackle....

Cj has to prove he is more than a one hit wonder

I'm not big on rankings, but I am bored so I gave it a read. Pretty good, but Stroud over Lamar?
-
Lamar says he has lost a lot of weight, down to 205, he should be back to his quickster self.
I hope so, he did look a little slow last year, whether that was weight or him not wanting to risk injury by putting the pedal to the floor..

Back in the day, I was part of an interview with Matt Katula, Ravens long snapper for a few years.
He was considered at the time, the best in accuracy and speed back to the punter/holder coming out of college.
Now me being a former long snapper on special teams, I was pumped to interview him.
I asked what was the hardest part, as being #1, coming into the NFL for him. This interview was during training camp that year.
He said, short version, the types of strengthening to get more speed on his snaps.
Ott clearly has a ways to go if he beats out Moore, should be interesting
-
Not like him though, he was a first round talent before the injury.

I don't watch a lot of pod casts, but this one had a portion of an interview Todd did, they used a questionnhe was asked about Lamar in the redzone. His answer was excellent

How much of special teams was due to a new comer, long snapper?
Great question, I just hope that they get it fixed, we often overlook the long snapper, the speed and accuracy of the ball going back can mean the difference between a successful kick or a blocked one

The days go bye bye faster the younger we get!

Good move, while he has been solid, 3 straight 1,000 yard seasons, Warren has also shown he is an excellent back.
The 5th year option was set to be roughly $6mil, they want a prove it year in the new offense to see which back gets a long term deal.

It's a good start, get em signed early from NFL DOT COM
QuoteThe Ravens also signed offensive tackle Roger Rosengarten (No. 62 overall), CB T.J. Tampa (No. 130) and safety Kane Sanoussi (No. 250).
They also got a roster exemption for Ojoba, they can carry 91 players now through the summer.

Yep, Houston will be the media darling unless or until they falter, the media will hoist them up as if what they will do has never been done in the history of the word..
-
Houston has to prove that they aren't a one hit wonder, can they play that well again?
Cincy has to prove it can stay healthy, jeepers, when they can they are a top team, but as they say, availability is the best ability.
But Lamar vs Patrick is always a thrilling game and money grab for the league & networks
-
Yeah, that would be their revenge game to exploit
-
I hope not, I hope they get a home game that week end, so they can rest a bit, and begin the playoff push.
I will add, I think now more than ever with the added game/s, the bye week is huge. Later is better than earlier...
My way to early record
in Baltimore Ravens

In the end, they are still the Chargers, no matter the coach or players, they always find a way to lose big games, always.
