  1. He was underutilized here is my opinion, maybe the coaches saw something in practice, or missed assignments in games, who knows, but he is a very good runner, gonna miss him.

Like you, I agree, stay away from Henry who has 1 maybe 2 years left. Draft, go with a committee for now.

  2. Nice work, per Shefty

Ravens are signing franchise DT Justin Madubuike to a four-year, $98 million deal that includes $75.5 million total in guarantees and $53.5 million at signing, per sources.

  3. Well, the contracts for both Lamar and Smith are so long and large that of course you have to adjust them as needed. They are two player that you expect to live out the life of the contracts.

I like Pollard, in general, but he always seems to be nicked up, not sure I want him here.

Sign Gus, draft a back or two, carry on...

Andrews is the interesting one, his age, his injuries, the emergence of Likely, is Andrews going to live out his contract, even as good as he has been?

  4. Mad has been tagged

β€œWe were unable to agree on a contract extension with Justin before the deadline and will use the franchise tag,” DeCosta said in a statement. β€œJustin is a great player and person, and we will continue to negotiate a long-term deal with him.”

  5. I would be thrilled with Newton at 30, or even early in the 2nd if they can trade down abfew spots.

Morgan, a bit high for him, he is a project but has the potential to be a solid starting tackle, on the right side, not sure he is a left tackle in the NFL.

Burton I would be very disappointed if he were a Raven. Talk about a moody player, he has almost all of the tools, he is only missing humility. If he doesn't get the ball when he is open, he pouts and disappears.

Pearsall is an interesting one, I think he will be more of a slot guy, the Ravens really need a deep X guy, someone who will clear the middle on deep crosses, or command a safety over the top.

There are a number of guys this year who qualify for that, a trade up in the 2nd could land one.

  6. Oh I got you, some good depth in this draft at dB with speed that should be there on day 2. I suspect they will likely draft online at 30, if they stay there, very likely they trade down to get more day 2 picks, this draft is so deep at depth where the team needs it.

  7. Combine starts today, though a few high profile players have said they will not work out at the combine.

I used to really enjoy watching them go through the drills, you can really see their athletism in drills. The cone drills can help one see if a player has quick feet, a little wiggle.

The gauntlet, now for receivers, this tells you how good their hand-eye coordination is, and of course how good they catch with their hands
