Back to the Ravens

Yes, and May does throw the ball well, especially deep. While Vrabel and Brown are used to each other, how long will Brown put up with 5 or 6 targets, 50-60 yards and 1 score?
-
Maybe, while they do pass a lot, they are not a pass first team. He is not really a #1 any more is he? He might get 5, 6 per game but he was getting those in Phili and was not happy even the year they won the Super Bowl!

Jeepers, Rams are crazy, trading more picks away( first-round draft pick in 2027, a second-round pick in 2028 and a third-rounder in 2029) plus a young player, Verse for Miles Garret. I guess they truly believe Stafford will last 2 more seasons & or their rookie qb will be enough... Then there are the Pats, a 2028 1st round pick & a 5th rounds 2027 picks for Aj Brown. Haven't teams learned enough that he isn't happy unless he gets 10 legit targets per game?

Great player, even better of a man, only met him briefly once, he was kind enough to talk football with me.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jesse-minter-nnamdi-madubuike-getting-work-in-trending-in-great-direction A report last month indicated that Ravens defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike plans to play this season after missing most of last year with a neck injury, but he has not been taking part in any of the team’s practices this spring. During a Wednesday press conference, Ravens head coach Jesse Minter was asked about Madubuike’s status and said that he has been with the team during the offseason program. Minter did not provide any specifics about when Madubuike might be ready to make a full return to action. “I think Nnamdi is here a lot,” Minter said, via a transcript from the team. “He’s working. He’s doing some certain parts of our program. I’ll probably, again, leave that up to him of when it’s really to the point where he may be out there, but he’s definitely getting a lot of work in. He’s trending in a great direction, I would say.” Madubuike’s return would be a significant development for Minter’s defense, but any plans for him will be written in pencil until there are some surer signs that he’ll be playing this fall.

Lost, perhaps, in the new head coach being a defensive genius, is the question; does Lamar now learn defensive coverages from him?

Just speculation on my part. The battle started last year at this time. Here is an article on it and his daughter from January of this year All About Lamar Jackson's Daughter, Milan Jackson https://share.google/BcCRj3jjgcaGZsfeD

‘At Our Best When Our Best Is Needed’: Jesse Minter Brings New Vision to Ravens Practices https://share.google/KcQXa9L2AltKIGOLr It was at the end of an atypically scorching hot 92-degree practice at Organized Team Activities when Head Coach Jesse Minter called his team in to close out practice. They split into offense vs. defense, two lines facing each other to form their next playing field. Out came a couple 16-pound medicine balls and two competitors, one from each side. Who could throw it the furthest when their body hurt the most? On Tuesday, it was the offense winning three straight times and forcing the entire Ravens defense to tack push-ups onto their sweaty day. And with each side. Who could throw it the furthest when their body hurt the most? On Tuesday, it was the offense winning three straight times and forcing the entire Ravens defense to tack push-ups onto their sweaty day. And with each victory, the victors got to celebrate. Veteran left tackle Ronnie Stanley, the longest-tenured player on the team, was one of the most animated. Rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane did a cartwheel into a back flip. "The guys love it," running back Derrick Henry said. "It's something different. It gives us a chance to compete against each other and do things together." In his first Organized Team Activities as head coach, Minter has kept much of the same hard work the Ravens have built their culture around. But he's put his own stamp on the team's practices as well, most notably with how he's ended them. On Tuesday, it was the competitive medicine ball toss. On Monday, the entire team (even the coaches) were tested with a two-minute plank on their forearms and toes at the end of practice. Minter's back was straight as a board, by the way. Minter calls it the "At our best when our best is needed" period, which he plans to keep fresh at the end of each practice. "Right now, you can't really do the football competition, and so I thought it would be something different, something fun," Minter said. "I try to get guys to not know what's about to happen and answer the bell when their number's called, and it's as simple as that. "That's really all we're trying to get done with that and make it fun, have the guys pull for each other. I love the energy there. It was a clean sweep by the offense today."

New drill, I was taught at a young age that talent only gets you so far. That being in the best shape can lead to far more success. It's good to see Minter have a similar mindset. For us, as high-school players, our coach had a killer drill. 2 car tires, 1 in each hand, sprint up a hill that was maybe 10 yards but steep, touch the fence, sprint back down. We had 2 lines, we went 10 times. This, after a 2 mile train, and stretching which included 30 pushups, 30 sit ups, and 3 leg raises. Did I mention this was during the summer sessions, in July, in CT, 90+ degrees. https://youtu.be/7g3zx_ftj34?si=9VccJ0fHaX-Zalo3

Screw the fans who cheer on their home team in person. 10 international games, league rules that home games no longer will be aloud to be projected https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nfl-removes-teams-ability-to-protect-home-games-from-international-export

4th and 29, that included an illegal touching around the 10, our hearts dropped then Tony took over. We were near the 35, 3 rows up
-
Me too, me and some people who staid and had seats high up, went down to a few rows off of field level to finish off the win
