  1. A bit tougher test than the Jags, should be interesting coming off of a blow out win; the passing game will have to set up the run... Might be closer than most think it should be....
  2. If this year has taught us anything, it is that anything can happen. Look at college, big name teams have lost to the little guy, in the pros, 0-10 teams beat 10-0 teams. Shoot the Jets, Bengals, Jags have had games when it looked like a pop warner team could beat them, yet they still had at least one game where they looked unstoppable. Even the Slurs are still in the playoff hunt, all of this to give us hope.... Even so, a Colts, Phins, Browns loss, or inbetween those, plus the Ravens winning out puts the Ravens in... But who cares, right! It has been a bit frustrating of a season, but also rewarding with the possibility of 10, 11 wins. Sure, disappointing to not make the playoffs because of last year, however... Remember what this team went through, covid rampant on the players, injuries as well, leading to no practice for 3 weeks, 3 games in what, 15 days; unheard of to even think 8 wins, let alone 11 and to top it off, they could have and maybe should have a real shot at 13 wins! They were only beat in one game, they beat them selves in 4 games....
  3. The Steelers, to quote the late Coach Green, are who we thought they were; a sham. Defenses have figured them out; short passing game. Just as they do against the Ravens; flood the middle of the field. If you have a good front 4/3, to stop the run, you can back up the backers to stop the short throws. Ben can't throw deep any longer aside from floaters, he has no arm strength. Similar to how the Ravens play offense; no deep shots down the sidelines. If you have quick active backers, you can stop or limit the Ravens offense, and, the Steelers. So much for the Steelers padding their stats....
  4. Is it better to win 10 games amd miss the playoffs or to go say 8-8 and miss them? This has been a whacky season, but at least we got to see good football, have a solid team and in this cyclical game we call football, 10 wins usually gets you in....
  5. He plowed the road like his lunch was on the other side and he had been starving for years. Looks like he got a concussion, sadly, for his quick work.
  6. Sloppy ending but it didn't matter, they did what they should have done and ended this game in the first quarter. Glad to see Dez get a score, no help from the other teams for a playoff spot.....
  7. Things will change when the players and NFLPA, see the new salary cap next year. No way are these contracts going to work for any team....
  8. All three have been activated, cleared to play Sunday-SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!!
  9. You rock Dee!
  10. This might be a blessing in disguise, sitting Brown down, alowing other receivers to work, maybe get open, maybe they gain confidence in them selves or Lamar in them and the passing game gets life... We shall see...
  11. You are the best Dee, thanks so much for all you have done and continue to do for us!
  12. I was there as well, I swear that stadium sounded just as loud half empty as it does fully packed; we rocked it out
  13. 3 Wide outs -out might be an issue for most teams but not this team.... Strong running game dominates the clock, Tucker and a defensive score lead the way. Pats beat the Phins pushes the Ravens in...
  14. This is getting ridiculous, did they catch it from Dez? Is this just another round of false tests from those South Korean lab tests the Gov bought?
  15. Remember another 4th & 29? A 29 pt comeback at home against Seattle, with Anthony Wright at qb!? Half the stadium left by the third quarter, some came back, others tried, but we rocked out the stadium as the Ravens roared back...
  16. More potassium, or maybe intravenous midol... Ive seen that gotta crap now run, Ive done it too.....
  17. I never said let him walk, just get him a to trust his receivers. Boykin was open a few times, Lamar, with time, chose not to throw to him; game changer plays. Yes, we won a close one, Baker only press-passed once which ended up a great int. Yes, Lamar completed 11 of 17, 3 of those maybe should have been caught. But he also should have connected on two others, both would have been first downs, one to Andrews likely a score instead of a punt. Hey, pick your poison; 120+ yards on the ground plus 150 in the air still equals 30 on the ground, 300 in the air. But, look at the interview from Diggs, he wanted out of Min because they wanted to focus more on running. No way would he come here.. So, while Snead loves to play here, how will this team get a bona fide number one to come here? In any even, I am glad to have him. Sure, you might get lucky, have a great defense, a great running game and win the Super Bowl with a Brad Johnson type qb as Ten is trying to do, as the Ravens did with Trent Dilfer, but in today's NFL, you better have a play maker at qb, who can either do what Mahomes, Brady, Rogers, Wilson can do or maybe like Lamar can do; either way it is going to cost you a lot of money..
  18. I know they gave up a lot of pts, but watch the game again if you can. They defense actually played better than the score indicates. Let us not forget, the first score by the Browns was helped by 2 very questionable calls, one for roughing, that wasn't, one for pi, Smith barely layed a hand on the guy and it would have been 4th down. Mayfield was just over 50% completion for the game. I think if they meet again, Wink will adjust to tight man coverage all game. They just wore out because of the 3 games, 2 very tough ones, in a short time, near the end of the season. With the injuries and covid players missing, they just did not have any fuel in the tank. Of note also, Lamar had 124 yards rushing with halfnof the 3rd quarter remaining and all of the 4th; he didn't run any more after that, it was all passing, after passing a bowel movement.... He akso completed a pass from the pocket on a comeback route, that was huge. If they can keep doing that, then there is no sky to limit this offense. Why? With their pass rush, a very good one, the make shift line took another step of playing together. Lamar had good time in the pocket in the 2nd half. A lot of encouragement from this game. While it will be a "short" week by a day, because of the previous real short weeks, this will appear to them to feel like a normal work week.
  19. Great question, pro days I am sure will happen, they can quarantine, then get together. Combine, maybe, with a bubble, a lot depends on the vaccine
  20. I have to add, the officiating was horrible
  21. I recorded the game, great, enjoyable, restful, full night of sleep. Wow what a game, hats off to the players, the coaching staffs, the medical team. I won't fault the defense for giving up two 14 pt leads, nor for allowing 22 pts in thr 4th. Covid has ripped this team to its core, they just didn't have the rest they needed, the practice, the extra bodies to play special teams; they are gassed and still gave it everything. That pick was insane, one handed and changed the game. The offense, wow, hope Trace is okay, but simply spectacular, even with some drops, some missed passes, some missed bkocks, THEY STAID WITH THE RUNNING DUO OF GUS AND JK! WOO-HOO! Lamar, one note- eat more fruits & veggies, especial high in potassium during the week. Hydration is a 10 day process.... He was fabulous, focussed, electric. Who knows how far this team will go, but rest up, it's gonna be a journey.
  22. What's the over under on discipline penalties? False starts, blown coverages, missed gap assignments, illegal formations? I say 8... Man my knees are killing me, big snow storm on the way, I love sports!
  23. It's a big game, will Lamar and the offense show up?
  24. Wow, Mahomes was sacked for 30 yards! A 30 yard sack by the best qb in the NFL, NO, not a fumbled snap
