  1. Mkay, I can see his/their point and almost agree. Injuries have been a problem, not just his receivers nor his back but his knee as well. Gaining confidence to step up & through his throws with that knee can be sketchy, take time. "Throw" in the back issue, and you can see him over throwing, underthrowing, "scared" to trust his lineman to keep his legs clean.. I can also see the time he missed and they receivers missed as putting the timing and trust of the passing off, way off. When you just factor those points in You get dink & dunk. However, there always is a however isn't there,..... The line has been the biggest issue, the time Flacco has to throw, the receivers have to get open... See, we all watch other games, other teams, we see how much more time, how clean a pocket, those "successful", high scoring offenses have, we talk about all the time and apparently, now so does the "coach" Boy John, u sher r smrt. No where do any of them mention TIME to throw the deep pass, to throw 15-20 yard passes. Sure, they can be willing, they are able to throw it deep arm wise, skill of two of three receivers..... But unless the line gives them time it is all moot. Oh yes, then there are the play designs, I hope John, you noticed the route combinations while you were watching games on tv.... http://m.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Joe-Flaccos-Ready-to-Let-Loose-in-Passing-Game/e9c5deed-6a5b-48e5-847a-fe267483ef38
  2. They won the time of possession and ran a successful screen!!! Woo hoo!
  3. 16 plays to go 75 yards... Ever wonder why other teams can throw a simple swing pass to the back and get 8 yards, even against the Ravens' defense, yet the Ravens' offense lose 2 yards? Or how a simple 8 yard comeback route for the Ravens is tackled right away while other teams get 15+ yards after a spin and miss? Or when there is a deep route, the Ravens always seem to have either two receivers with in 5 yards of each other allowing defenders to turn away and play on the ball or the receiver down the sideline is always tightly covered? Yet when other teams run these routes, the feild is wide open, even against the Ravens? Or how big the field looks for other teams yet the Ravens seem to play on a smaller field? Who can't get six inches on 4th down? Answer, the Ravens...No nose tackle and they don't have an automatic qb sneak? They hand it off, again? Then wonder why they lose a yard ( then challenge the play).... Oye..
  4. 9 thousand for the hit on Joe, seriously? Come on, why fine him at all? I would be fine with not fining him with so little applied. They care about the players? Yeah, yea, Yeah, yea, Yeah...
  5. On the road against a team with a winning record (?) I think a massacre is in the works....
  6. Well, they have been killing the other side of the field and down the middle, no need to throw his way and get a free 15 yard pi...
  7. Those 4 picks were an aborition, he is far better than he showed in that game. His receivers let him down as well, one quit on a route leading to one pick.. Time will tell..
  8. Yeah, this is likely just one of those games that cost them a higher draft pick. One bad team beating up another is nothing to get excited about....
  9. Yes, he had a ped issue at Florida, but if they still had him, they would be a top 4 team. He is a smart, "heady" player. Strong arm, accurate, moves very well in and out of the pocket. He throws well on the run, from different angles as needed. With the season he is having his draft stock is rising. I think the Ravens would be wise to draft him if they can't get Mayfield. Where? Maybe in the 3rd, possibly in the 4th. With a year or two to learn I think he can be a very good NFL quarterback. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000867277/article/sources-tell-us-buzz-builds-for-west-virginias-will-grier
  10. 40 to nothing, nadda, zip. Who saw that coming? I know Moore is not Brady but he is a decent back-up, surely good enough to get 3 pts, ok , a missed field goal. I did not watch the 2nd half, just the first half, not bad... Shame about Joe, hate seeing hits like that... Nope, not dirty, but yes, Alonzo could have changed how and where he hit Joe. I've played enough and seen enough football to know players do alter if they choose to alter..
  11. None of them can stay healthy, Gilmore is the best of the group all around, but he is never healthy. Boyle is pretty good but he and his p-e-d's..... Williams, another draft bust because of health. Waller is a great special teams player, still has not grasped the tight end role fully... Watson should be gone, he clearly has nothing left, catch the ball fall down because he can't eldude or power through them....
  12. He played sparingly last year, only made his name for that bowl game. It is not so much a lack of talent around him as it his his carelessness with the ball, fumbles and bad decisions throwing into double coverage, bad mechanics...
  13. He is a slightly more athletic Heap, his only downside is blocking; not very food but he does try.
  14. Another flat performance by this team. Oh, the defense only gave up 1 td you might say? They were tired because of the offense didn't move the ball? Did you see the top before the Vikes' last drive? Even.. Linemen not hding their lane, blitzers running into the back of dlineman... Linebackers not reading their keys properly. How many times will they be fooled by screen plays? Don't get me started again on the offense & the play calling, play design. How many freaking times will they call a screen that loses yards? Yes, they all have to go; offense, defense, head coach, front office..
  15. Yep, keep this at the top. No time to even throw a 2 yard pass....
  16. Jackson is nice, but he is very inaccurate with the ball. Sure he can improve, Cam did and a few others have since being in the league. However, most are high on him because of his running and in the NFL, that won't last long or he won't. Darnold is showing that he needs to spend another year playing at the collegw level, no way is he worthy of a top 10 pick, not sure a first round pick right now.
  17. Ok, so you don't draft a tight end in the first round unless you are picking in the late 20's & you are pretty set as a team. But this guy has top 10 talent, 6-6, runs very well, great, great hands and he runs routes very well. At least a 36" vertical ( former basketball & volley ball player). I dont know what round he goes in, but if he is there when the Ravens draft in the 2nd, they would be wise to draft him.
  18. West is out both Maclin and Wallace are questionable.
  19. & an alignment... Also, it sounds like the cv axle is done as well as possibly the upp & lower ball joint, all on the driver side....
  20. He has been ruled out
  21. "Betraying confidence in them"? No, have you fired anyone from your tempt jobs company that was under performing? Not that I expect him to say anything else, mid season on the radio show..
  22. Practice!?! We talk'n bout PRACTICE!.!
  23. Well that is a shocker. Wallen has great hands, a slot receiver, did mister glass get broken again? How bad was Bergstrom that this terrible line let him go? Maybe they get the draft pick back based on a lack of playing time?
  24. The stat is miss leading, they didn't throw many passes in the first few games. But the premise is good... Kubes is not coming out of retirement, even if he did the Broncos hold his rights.
