  1. Long, boring game, field goal battle, turn over battle, me sleeping comfortably after the first quarter....i don't watch week night games..
  2. He just needs to be more consistant, he seems to disapear against better teams.
  3. Howard was a waste of money, they wouldn't miss him..
  4. Maybe on Ridley, he is the best wide out in the draft, imo, great route runner, speed, quickness, vision, catches and puts the ball away quckly.. I've watched him for 3 years now, wow... He may vo top 10, but with all the teams that need other positions & with guys like Washington (OSU), Pettit ( Washington) etc, I could see him slip to 15, if they keep winning a trade up would be needed. But the other tqo yes, with out a doubt but, will they pull the trigger, where do they rank them....
  5. Skip the B-man, yes he is great but he gets shut down easily. Give me Ridley in the 1st, Gisicki in thel 2nd, Mayfield in the 3rd then find whom ever you want the rest of the draft. It would be an A draft....
  6. "You play to win the draft pick!" Did I say that right? Sure, anything can happen, it did in 2011, 2012. But do we honestly think after what good quarterbacks have done, even what the bad ones did only to throw a pick in the redzone or the Ravens side of the 50 after driving the length of the field, that this defense can keep Brady, Ben, a healthy Marriota, from scoring 25 pts? Can this defense cause those qbs to turn the ball over 3-4 times per game? This offense, even with getting 3 turnovers and great starting field position can barely crack 20 pts. Is it really enough to just make the playoffs, lose the 1st game and pick 26th or so? This team needs a real wide out ready to go, 28 have been taken and 28 have been busts but there are a couple of ready to eat wide outs this draft. They need a real threat at tight end, they need a real center, and maybe a tackle. Oh yes, this is also a draft to nab Flacco's replacement, there are a number of them who need only 2 years or so to learn & mature.. Not that the leadership of this front office & coaching staff sees these needs.....
  7. It is not just his poor hands( that he had in college), it is his poor route running, that he did in college Too fast, too slow, wrong depths, wrong routes, unable to read a defense, yes, receivers need to also read a defense. In college, all he had to do was run deep routes....
  8. Jim? Is that you Jim? Are they bringing you back to coach?
  9. Yeah, play design is wonderful. Your left tackle is being beaten like a drum so you; tripple team the nose guard... Yep, this team will be fine... Terrible win, no offense against the worst defense in the league and 4 turnovers... Few pts to show even though starting field poaition was around the 50 and they controlled time of possession.. Yeah, this team will be fine. Because taking apart the lesser teams and squeaking into the playoffs only to be 1 & done is important... All this does is give the Biscut amo to make no changes... This team is terrible, the defense not as good as the 3 shutouts, yep, that is impressive. Even though they lead the league in picks, in redzone picks... Good quarterbacks will pick them a part, run all over them. Fine, just fine, nothing to worry about. Where is that picture of kevin bacon in animal house at the parade.... Just fine, stay calm...
  10. When did he get a concussion? Last game he went out with a shoulder injury and came back in later in the game. Did he get it in practice? Or did get it during the game and they just did not report it? Either way, it is a road game against a winning team.. We know how that goes with him or without him..
  11. Just hire some of the folks around here, they seem to be more right about players than Ozzie & Company...
  12. Freak!
  13. Well, fake book is certainly a reliable source... Lol
  14. Im not sure many, if any are using injuries as an "excuse" for the failing offense. So why this blogger, whom I have never heard of, is bringing it up? Oh, hits & clicks...
  15. Likewise, the receivers on the Ravens rarely make a contested catch, unlike on other teams.....
  16. I tell you what, if Biscutt doesn't make changes in the front office and coaching staff this off season baring a super bowl run, deep into the playoffs, I will be done with this team until he does. Not that it will affect him at all, I already do not spend money on this team; not clothing, not tickets, nadda...
  17. Have you watched the high lights from other games or even the other games; top 10 catches. Shoot, other receivers of Rogers, Brady, Brees etc all make circus catches. When was the last time you saw a receiver for the Ravens make one of them?
  18. Tonight's game & all future Thuraday night games, will be viewed by the skycam, unlike "normal views". I don't watch NFL games except on Sunday and even then, only really the Ravens. But this camera angle view would just be another reason not to watch. Execs claim this is for the younger crowd, the video game heads... http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/nfl-thursday-night-football-nbc-skycam-broadcast/118yotx1muu8p10vpzm0wek2kd
  19. PFF again? We already showed they were a crock with their ratings!? Sorry any article that uses them as a reference is bogus. Everything is to blame, Joe, Marty, the receivers, the line....
  20. Anything is possible and yes, they could catch fire, the league, the conference is having a big down year, many bad teams, some due to injury. But I think we all agree, not likely and even if it is, prove it to us, right?! Frankly, it has to be Super Bowl or bust, anything less has to mean heads will roll, none of this; "they did good for all the injuries they had" crap.
  21. Mkay, I can see his/their point and almost agree. Injuries have been a problem, not just his receivers nor his back but his knee as well. Gaining confidence to step up & through his throws with that knee can be sketchy, take time. "Throw" in the back issue, and you can see him over throwing, underthrowing, "scared" to trust his lineman to keep his legs clean.. I can also see the time he missed and they receivers missed as putting the timing and trust of the passing off, way off. When you just factor those points in You get dink & dunk. However, there always is a however isn't there,..... The line has been the biggest issue, the time Flacco has to throw, the receivers have to get open... See, we all watch other games, other teams, we see how much more time, how clean a pocket, those "successful", high scoring offenses have, we talk about all the time and apparently, now so does the "coach" Boy John, u sher r smrt. No where do any of them mention TIME to throw the deep pass, to throw 15-20 yard passes. Sure, they can be willing, they are able to throw it deep arm wise, skill of two of three receivers..... But unless the line gives them time it is all moot. Oh yes, then there are the play designs, I hope John, you noticed the route combinations while you were watching games on tv.... http://m.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Joe-Flaccos-Ready-to-Let-Loose-in-Passing-Game/e9c5deed-6a5b-48e5-847a-fe267483ef38
  22. They won the time of possession and ran a successful screen!!! Woo hoo!
  23. 16 plays to go 75 yards... Ever wonder why other teams can throw a simple swing pass to the back and get 8 yards, even against the Ravens' defense, yet the Ravens' offense lose 2 yards? Or how a simple 8 yard comeback route for the Ravens is tackled right away while other teams get 15+ yards after a spin and miss? Or when there is a deep route, the Ravens always seem to have either two receivers with in 5 yards of each other allowing defenders to turn away and play on the ball or the receiver down the sideline is always tightly covered? Yet when other teams run these routes, the feild is wide open, even against the Ravens? Or how big the field looks for other teams yet the Ravens seem to play on a smaller field? Who can't get six inches on 4th down? Answer, the Ravens...No nose tackle and they don't have an automatic qb sneak? They hand it off, again? Then wonder why they lose a yard ( then challenge the play).... Oye..
  24. 9 thousand for the hit on Joe, seriously? Come on, why fine him at all? I would be fine with not fining him with so little applied. They care about the players? Yeah, yea, Yeah, yea, Yeah...
  25. On the road against a team with a winning record (?) I think a massacre is in the works....
