As crav said, Cain missed out thanks to his two drops and the others making very contested catches. Shame too, his size & speed, I was hoping he could work out. But concentration has always been his problem. Too many young hungry wide outs with potential. They may only keep 5 this year, stash someone on the ps to call up if needed.

Hill is a wasted roster spot, I know, I know, he is a decent special teams player. But if it windy out, he can't move unless he wants to be blown over by a 5 mph gust... Gurlie is just not dependable now, slowed by his knee injuries and can he even run in this type of offensive blocking scheme?

Runningback is one of the deeper parts of the roster. While he is a big loss, they have 2 quick good vision guys waiting in the wings. Both have the same skill set, so it is a toss up. I personally lile McCrary better but then we are splitting hairs

Ive never seen the receivers make so many contested catches. I feel bad for Cain, the odd man out tonight on catches; maybe on the roster too... How refreshing

He has always had the talent, it has been his effort, work ethic that was the issue. Now maybe he is with the right coaches & players to help him realize his talent and keep working hard.

It wasn't just poor qb play, it was bad draft picks on the offensive line, at wide out. You can't draft a pocket passer and not provide a pocket. Likewise with Lamar, he has to be able to create, so you need wide outs who know how to keep routes a live when the play break down. You need linemen who don't stop after shouting watch out. There is so much that goes into a qb being an mvp than just his talent.

Yeah, did you see Josh Allen's new deal? 6 year extension,$258 mil, $150 guarenteed... He has shown to be a better passer so far, but Lamar should get a bit more ouch

Vil will be fine, knocking rust off, getting in playing shape. Not often will he face a rookie speed demon trying to prove he belongs. I am very happy with the line, if they can stay healthy, my biggest concern

As you said, freakish ability, he seems to have that keep working harder mentality. I would rather wait to see the pads come on, a few games under his belt. Nothing worse than a practice warrior ya know. He is in the right place to help him reach his potential if he is willing

A report just came out stating that 21 of the 22 horses killed as a result of injury sustained at the track had pre-existing conditions known to the equestrians though they "did not grasp the significance of major pre-existing lessions". 2 more horses have died this week, at the Del-Mar track, 4 since Nov 6th. Now were I a conspiracy nut, I would say this was purposely a done to detract from that horrible Santa Rosa track. As I said in my other post, Del -Mar is suppose to be the safest track....hmmm

I heard their vet the other day try to proclaim the track safe because the rate of the horses being put down at the track had gone down.... And the reporter let her get away with that crap. No wonder they will not close that track... Sickening On a side note, 2 horses were put down here at a track this weekend, considered the safest in the nation.

Thanks crav, I've read a ton about that track and no one has brought this up. It makes perfect sense; the owners should pay through the nose or be forced to sell the track. Why this isn't getting more press is astounding, sad and maddening.
