  1. As one of my favorite coaches often said; "nicely done, very nicely done."
  2. Sure, bang on Joe, AGAIN. Me, I said the same thing qhen Joe signed the deal as I did in the 1st post in this thread. No one knows what Joe will do money wise in a few years. Maybe he does what Manning and Brady did and take less to help the team. Maybe not, who knows.... We do know these contracts are escalating higher than the percentage of the cap is each year and the league needs to address this in some way.'
  3. It is easier to try it with a great/very good quarterback than to try and build 11 guys on defense who will make the list for greatest of all time. The NFL is changing & not for the good. Average teams are winning the Super Bowl, yes I include the Ravens in that when they won it all a few years ago. Today, you don't need a complete team to win it all, just health, discipline, and get hot at the right time. Even the Colts won it with Peyton, we saw this, their defense stunk during the season, but they got hot as a group at the right time beating mediocre teams.
  4. Yep, Jones, Snyder, Irsey, there will always be an owner willing to pony up any amount to win...
  5. Signed for $87 mil guaranteed, $140 mil total through 2020...ouch... Time for the NFL and NFLPA to work out an exclusion in the salary cap for one player. These qb contracts are going to kill teams and the quality of play. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/16619414/andrew-luck-signs-extension-indianapolis-colts
  6. Yeah, they do awesome covers, the videos rock as well with all the antics they do.
  7. Love Post Modern Jukebox, but no, too slow in developing, reminds one of the receiving core failures....
  8. Monroe turned down the Giants offer because he wants to play and be paid as a left tackle. They felt he was not a left tackle any longer.
  9. or at least to a position of desperate need like db, wide out, safety.... take a "risk" there, not with a clearly system back who can't read holes.
  10. A pretty good read. I look forward to see how far he can go as a coach. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ed-reed-is-now-a-coach-and-hes-shaking-things-up-for-the-bills-this-year/
  11. He would be a distraction, he did not want to be here as a back up.
  12. Yanda is a proven guard who can slide out to right tackle in a pinch. An all pro guard too boot. KO is a good guard who may or may not work out as a tackle, who also wanted left tackle money. I wanted the Ravens to keep him too, but his price was too high.
  13. Not much of a loss, he couldn't stay on the field.
  14. Outstanding over the shoulder catch.
  15. Stem cell injection and rest, no time table on return. Estimates are sometime between now and the year 2525.
  16. Trent Smith part II......
  17. Those may be real, but she is not! We nominate you to find the truth Max.
  18. Sorry Max, put the beer down.... Were it just one hip, yes, but that repaired hip came out on its own, dude has talent, but like Trent Smith ( a great guy as well as talent) somethings just are not meant to be,...
  19. Right, I would not be surprised if they won six or less, I also would not be surprised if they won 9 or more. This team, right now, is very health dependent, and full of, I love this part; YOUTH.....
  20. Rather than start a new thread, another young player hangs it up, 28 yrs old, Walter Thurmond III. Won a super Bowl with the SeaHawks, started last year with the Iggles.. Said he just didn't want to play football any more ...
  21. maybe he should have had a snickers............
  22. Probably the same ninny who advises Harbs on video replay.......
  23. Ridiculous is the coaching staff either not knowing or not caring about the rules... True Rome was not built in a week, but .....
