Caught with the ganja again?

http://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp About 200 pts or a 3rd round pick, if they go by the draft value chart. Iv heard some teams do, others not so much. I hope they trade down if they can't get Ramsey or Treadwell. Iv a feeling with the Wallace signing, they feel Treadwell is no better an option than Aiken, both possession receivers.

I never thought highly of him anyway. It appeared he was out of position a lot, being released makes me see that he was... Maybe this is a sign they are going after one of the safeties in the draft and or the safety from the Rams, what's his name....Rodney Mcleod. Oops never mid he signed with the Iggles.

Ravens have enough CAP space for Weddle and Wallace
tsylvester replied to TBird's topic in Baltimore Ravens
See the draft forum. Darian Thompson, a play maker, who needs some time to develop, not a starter right away, but with the right coaching, he should be an excellent starter before too long. Oh and the jury is still out on Mosely, he blitzes well but still can't cover, nor play in zone and he misses on tackles as much as he makes a tackle..... -

A lot goes into that though Crav. As TC mentioned, Tannytown wasn't, isn't an accurate deep thrower nor did the Phish go down field often, by design. I am not sure his time with the Phish nor with the Vikes was all on him. -

Oh yes, he is far better than Torrey. He tracks the ball better and adjusts to it better. As you mentioned, he is better with the ball in his hands too... Compared to having Torrey, I'll take Wallace any day. -

I am sure he still has the speed. My only question is if he learned how to catch consistently. -

Not always, we told him no on every Bama player he wanted to draft and on the last two safeties he drafted..... -
If they draft right, they only need him for 2 maybe 3 years.

He is smart, crafty, instinctive. Not that fast, nor quick, but his football intelligence and instinct help him be in the right place at the right time. He is a natural leader, by word yes, but more importantly by work ethic. Something this secondary has needed for some time. -
People deal with depression in many ways. Some sink down and hide, others self medicate in many ways, drugs just one of them. He chose coke, crack what ever, so there is another obsticle in his life he needs to over come. We don't know which came first, but to make a statement that he is using deprwssion as an excuse, to me, is stepping over a line. I wish this young man the best, what ever that entails, in the league or not, he is a terrific talent but over coming the depsression and or drug dependency is of most importance.

Oustanding. I know his age was a question mark for some, but keep in mind, safeties have one of the longest shelf lives in the NFL. Now they have real leadership and play making ability back there. Draft the Boise kid, Thompson in the second..... -
Football Gameplan's 2016 NFL Mock Draft - Small College
tsylvester replied to EmDiggy's topic in NFL Draft
Just curious if you will ever answer questions we pose or if you simply post & run? If you don't answer I guess I have my answer. I won't click until you do... -
I've see a number of their games over the years, everyone he played in, he impressed me. But in the back of my mind was the talent he played against, poor quarterbacks who telegraph, poor route running receivers who gave away routes, poor offense line play that lead to pressures, forcing quarterbacks into bad decisions. Even so, he showed the ability to capitalize on those mistakes with great athleticism, quickness, instinct, great hands. In the second where the Ravens pick might be a bit high for him, and a lot depends on who they draft in the first. Even so, I think with patience and the right coaching, he will be an excellent safety in the NFL. http://m.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Interceptions-Monster-Darian-Thompson-Could-Help-Ravens/a39d9bd5-39e3-4632-b1e1-9b8c9828a4f4

Fixed it thanks Spen. History and cookies deletion did the trick.

Yes, he is 31, but he is a ball hawk who knows how to play safety. A poaition this team needs badly and has missed on in the draft since Will Demps (that was for you Dee ) ... He cod be a stop gap. Currently, he is looking over school systems in the areas of the four teams-Raiders, Cowboys, Steelers the other three. Pending the age of his kids, I would say if it came down to schools and areas, the Ravens have the edge. With the practice facility and HQ being in OwingsMills, the school systems and area are very, very good. Some of the best in the nation, the best if he has a special needs child. He covers well, hits hard and still has the quickness to blitz. I think he would be a good fit here. http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25514559/report-eric-weddle-has-offers-from-4-teams-will-respond-by-monday

Jimmy Smith and Yanda restructure deals
tsylvester replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
If not, he goes, no big loss, no big cap hit. Honestly, I cannot see what some are "freaking out" over this. This hardly speaks of a win now attitude. And yes papa, I full expect them to be signing players, young, very good players. -
Jimmy Smith and Yanda restructure deals
tsylvester replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
The only real ouch in this is Watson's 3 mil cap hit. But it is clear by these moves and the rumors, they intend on signing one of the two free agent tackles. The cap will go up each of the next 4 years so Yanda, will not only easily fit under, but be worth it. He has at least 5 solid years left in him. Smith is likely to move to safety when the time comes, I hope. I was hoping C-mac would way back then, but he did not want to make the move. Maybe Smith will. -
Oh I know, they needed a tempt tight end. But at his age, with all the miles, just how effective can he be?

Thankfully.....
