  1. as expected, wouldnt want him to take any responsibility for what he did to her...... oh wait, he paid her off.....
  2. With out pay for conduct detrimental to the league..... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000487503/article/greg-hardy-suspended-10-games-without-pay At least the Cowboys wiil get a few games out of him and based on the way they structured his contract, will pay next to nothing for an angry, hungry man....
  3. Are you being funny? They lumped the Denver game, not west coast, with the Raiders, west coast. Then lumped the Niners, west coast, with the Cards, not west coast. Preferably it would be Denver then Arizona, Raiders then Niners. That would allow the team to stay on the west coast and mid west for each of those two game raod trips. This is a burtal schedule, travel wise.
  4. He has 20 career penalties, accepted, since coming into the league in 37 games played.. Leading the way of the ones TC pointed out, Byron Maxwell had 19 in 47 games played, Culiver has 16 in 46 games played, they were all drafted the same year. Revis, has 20 as well, but he was drafted in 2007, for a reference, in 111 games.
  5. Wow, just wow, quite a lot for a player who is injury & penalty prone..... I guess this takes corner out of the first round.
  6. No, he is a head case with no true position, Butler/Brown/Aiken are just as good if not better than he is and they are hard workers; him, not so much.
  7. Eh, it wasn't the Grbec signing that cost them, it was the babies on the team and who ever thought the right tackle position was a revovling door position. If they had beat Pit, they go all the way. If Jason Brown stays with his block a second longer, Grbec hits Q for a long touchdown instead of it getting picked off because Elvis was hit as he threw to a wide open Q. That play changed the entire game.
  8. I really like this kid, he never really got a shot with the other teams and showed he can play last year. I look forward to see if he can now grow into the position, though will they keep he, Butler & Brown this year?
  9. Oh gosh I certainly hope not. While Lewis was good it was only for a short time and he never really got out of the stutter step. Gordon is much the same way, in the stutter department only. He is not a power back, don't let his size fool you. He got stuffed up the middle more often than a turkey at ThanksGiving. He doesn't catch well out of the back field, has trouble hanging onto the ball being stripped often enough to say he is a fumbler & is a terrible blocker. If any back has bust written on him, it is Gordon

  11. Given the issues with Peters, if they stick to their "attitude rocks" they will not go for him. I could see a corner taken at 26, since both Webb and Smith are costly and injury prone, they could use one. I just don't think there are any worthy, who will be left, at 26 including Collins, Peters, Johnson. They can easily get the same talent and the "potential" from later in round 2, maybe even round 3, with the likes of the U's (of Ohio), Quinten Rollins, who also projects to be a safety, which the Ravens have missed on in the past two drafts.....
  12. Not sure they will pull the trigger, but I could see DGB taken in the 2nd by the Ravens if he drops that far It would be a slap in the face and go against what they have been saying about questionable character & work ethic. Dupre would be sweet if he lasts that long, but I think they go with Virginia DE/OLB Eli Harold. It might be a reach for him, but he has the quickness they like and at 26, if all the receivers top rated are off the board, I could see them taking the chance on him.
  13. Doubtful, he played all season with it,.... it isn't that serious.... bring him home Ozzie!

  15. I thought maybe it would be higher. Any time you give young adults that much money, even at the league minimum, when they have no real education on finances, bad things happen. Throw in money grubbing family & friends, bad investments by people one would think they can trust and boom, it is all gone... http://www.cnbc.com/id/102585929
  16. I guess it goes without saying I strongly disagree with their assesment of Strong..... BTW, in Mel's latest mock, he has 7 wide outs going in the firt round, none to the Ravens, having them take Marcus Peters from Washington, with Strong going to the Cheifs at 18, Funchess, talk about a reach if it did happen, going 21 to the Bungles, the 7th wide out going to the Saints at 31 Nelson Agholor..... If it fell that way, I wouldn't mind Peters, but I would expect Godman who Mel has going to the Pats at 32....
  17. There is no difference. Both men said they would move the teams if they did not get new stadiums. Neither did, both moved; case closed.
  18. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/draft/2015/04/03/pj-williams-florida-state-dui/25265771/ stupid is as stupid does........
  19. Mel's newest mock has 4 wide outs going in the top 10, the 4th, Perriman... Were the draft to go that way, I would hope the Ravens turn to Kentucky for a hybrid, multi-talented Dupre...
  20. He has the instincts you want on a corner/safety. However, he is raw, didn't go up against the to talent there at UConn, and a team wil take him earlier than he should go, but were I the Ravens, a 2nd wouldn't be too high for me to nab him, you can't teach that athleticism and as I said, he hs the instincts.
  21. Both are great to extend, worth keeping aorund for a few more years.
  22. Such a great move, just hope they don't lose the pick because of tampering with Ngata........
  23. He (Byron Jones) ran a 4.36 at his pro day to go along with a 12'.3" broad jump and 44" high jump!........ wowza....
  24. as long as tey don't use the back side screen to the tight end, Shaub will be fine.......
  25. McChicken has has 4 wide outs going in the top 15, 3 in the top 10; Cooper, White and Parker rounding out the 10. I don't buy that, me thinks the dirty positions will go higher than expected. With the Jernigan pick last year, I just can't see the Ravens going dt/de/olb this draft at 26, maybe if they trade down. Armstead is a solid player with a ton of potential, but not first round, in my opinion, he needs too much work. I have seen mocks that have him going well before the Ravens pick. I've also seen Goldman's name, FSU, mentioned as possible for the Ravens at 26. If anything, the Ravens have shown they can find solid defensive tackles, ends, outside linebackers late in the draft and as undrafted; their positional coaches are that good at teaching.
