  1. Brown getting 6 teams interested in him, but with KC releasing two very good, albeit injured tackles, that might drop his price... Ingram was a very good leader...
  2. Ingram to the Texans...
  3. The cap is set at $182.5 mil according to Espn..ouch
  4. The sad reality, Jamison likely had the info but either way, Mathew was way out of line with his personal attack.... Kick him to the curb
  5. Baltimore Beatdown: Ravens linebacker Matt Judon demands apology or threatens to leak photos. Where @jamisonhensley lying butt at? I got time today. Bro you have to stop lying, I know you want clicks and like and wanna be the people’s camp but stop lying. That weak. Jamison Hensley @jamisonhensley Hi Matthew. I was told that Ravens offered you a deal similar to Za’Darius’ ($16.5M per season) earlier this season and it was declined. If you have a comment, I would certainly add that to the piece. I’ve always been fair with you. Thanks and welcome back to Twitter Matthew Judon @man_dammn · Feb 24, 2021 Replying to @jamisonhensley This isn’t true who told you this if you can’t tell me that we’re all@going to have to think you pulling stuff outta no where. Jamison Hensley @jamisonhensley I will definitely add your response to the piece. If you ever have an issue with any of my reporting, I would be happy to listen and explain. I’ve always aimed to cover you in a respectful manner in your five years in Baltimore. Hope you have a great offseason. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2021/2/24/22299324/ravens-linebacker-matt-judon-demands-apology-or-threatens-to-leak-photos
  6. Salary cap min raised to $180 mil, that is encouraging, per Espn
  7. Right, the Pats lost a lot of coaches and scouts over the years they were drafting well and winning, it all caught up to them and showed up this past season.
  8. They might have been betting, for lack of a better word, that Brown would want to stay at right tackle. The question becomes; if Stanley never got hurt, thus Brown not being able to play left tackle, would he, Brown, then be wanting left tackle money? With Brown and Stanley at tackles, Phillips and Bozeman at guards and maybe Castillo at center, that would have been or could have been a formidable offensive line. Sadly now, they likely have to find a new right tackle.
  9. Nope, close, 12, 15, 15, 14, 6... I am with you, I think he is over rated...
  10. Letting him walk would be a huge mistake I don't think Eric makes
  11. Juat look at Seattle, a likely hall of fame qb, 2 super bowls in his career, nothing even sniffing it the past 4, 5, 6 years. Why? Drafting, bad drafting, they let their draft picks like Sherman play out, then let them walk. Meanwhile, they.miss on defensive drafts, on offensive line depth, even on receivers to some extent. The results speak for them selves and now Wilson may or may not be on the trade block. It's an interesting question....
  12. NFL Trade Rumors: Report: Multiple Teams Interested In Ravens OT Orlando Brown. https://nfltraderumors.co/report-multiple-teams-interested-in-ravens-ot-orlando-brown/ Should get a good price, at least a 2nd + right?
  13. You can't pay a qb, #1 wr (one of the best), te (one of the best), left tackle (one of the best) and an edge rusher/ linebacker for long term and expect to have success ie- win super bowls. The only way to have a top qb and win is by drafting very well. Let those players play on rookie deals, win in that window, then let em walk. You don't let a Mahomes, Rogers, Watson, Wilson, Jackson, etc walk away you keep them long term and build around them through the draft. Tampa just proved it can be done. They built a solid offensive line to protect a statue qb, gave him weapons on the outside, drafted well, very well on defense, boom. Sure they used a free agent or two, but cheaply. That is how the Ravens won back in 2012; gave Joe a line, had great defensive drafts, sprinkle in a fa or two, stay healthy, get some "luck". Win. We've talked about it before but they will have to have a position or one player rule excluding or reducing the hit on the cap. Now is the best time to implement it with so much loss of revenue this past year and I am sure going into next season as well. No way can the Cheifs for instance, pay Mahomes, and the rest of that circus (currently $201.3 mil cap going into next season, close to what, $30 mil OVER) Billy boy said it best just after the season, they could only pay Cam $1 mil, they kept pushing the cap ahead to keep that team together and win all of those Super Bowls. Brady got pain a ton, he kept agreeing to extend his bonus to spread it out until it finally came due. Then the Pats were screwed, the stopped having very good drafts, especially on the defensive side, and their good choices on the offensive line kept getting hurt....
  14. Just a reminder, the cap has a floor of $175 mil with an "expected cap" of $176 mil, down $22 mil from this past season. The Ravens are at roughly $162 mil, $14 mil under....
  15. So much for a discount, Brown, according to his tweet, considers him self a left tackle....
  16. Boyle signed to an extension, $13 mil, 2 years. Good move, injuries and PED's (to help get over the injuries quicker) aside, he has earned it with his play. Plus he knows the offense...
  17. Cullen hired by Texans gives the Ravens 2 3rd round comp picks, that could be huge.
  18. Unless Brown is willing to give a cap friendly deal, there is no chance of affording him. He has shown to be a very right tackle, a good left tackle & guard. He has worked hard and earned the pay day; he was very raw, slow footed, bad hand placement type coming out of college. With Lamar's, that is going to eat up 60% or so of the cap, then what? How do you fill in the guards, the defensive line, the wideouts, the secondary? There is good talent in the draft, most raw, and yes the Ravens have been good at filling in depth from the draft in those positions, but that would be asking a lot. Unless you want to waste Lamar's running talent on the next 2-3 years while these young guys develop....
  19. McPhee and Wolf are keepers if not just for their leadership & work effort. Bowser is also a keeper, while he has likely hit his ceiling, he has become an overachiever. Hill can go, great special team player but worthess on offense. Get the speedy back from Duke, much faster, 4 gears, and the wind doesn't knock him over. Brown is likely going to be too expenaive, sadly, he has turned into a very good lineman. Small cap due to the pandemic, will cut the Ravens $15-20 mil cap space down considerably, as it will other teams so maybe they can keep the well deserving players who worked hard the Raven way.
  20. A report just came out stating that 21 of the 22 horses killed as a result of injury sustained at the track had pre-existing conditions known to the equestrians though they "did not grasp the significance of major pre-existing lessions". Then they should be fired, really, they didn't think a bone lesssion would lead to a break? Give me a freaking break.... https://www.pasadenastarnews.com/2020/03/10/no-illegal-medications-found-in-states-investigation-into-horse-deaths-at-santa-anita/
  21. 2 more horses have died this week, at the Del-Mar track, 4 since Nov 6th. Now were I a conspiracy nut, I would say this was purposely a done to detract from that horrible Santa Rosa track. As I said in my other post, Del -Mar is suppose to be the safest track....hmmm
  22. I heard their vet the other day try to proclaim the track safe because the rate of the horses being put down at the track had gone down.... And the reporter let her get away with that crap. No wonder they will not close that track... Sickening On a side note, 2 horses were put down here at a track this weekend, considered the safest in the nation.
  23. I was just reading about it & about to post.
  24. Thanks crav, I've read a ton about that track and no one has brought this up. It makes perfect sense; the owners should pay through the nose or be forced to sell the track. Why this isn't getting more press is astounding, sad and maddening.
  25. When is enough enough? Crav, this is your wheel house, the "experts" claim to have no clue as to the injuries; but clearly this track needs to be shut down.. 34 horses in less than a year https://ktla.com/2019/10/19/santa-anita-park-in-arcadia-sees-34th-horse-death-since-late-december/
