  1. It really amazes me what anouncers of these games, especially in college, try to pass off as truth. They make more up than is actually true, even try to convince us what we see did not happen, something else did.........
  2. This is going to be a tough fight, but the ends match up well to their backers. On 3rd down, Rex pulls Scott and puts in 6 db's, again, edge Ravens. Rex will have his boys set up to stop the run as the first priority. Honestly, that is not hard to do if you look inside the Ravens rushing numbers; they are skewed. Baltimore has yet, believe it or not, to play a full game, especially run for a full 60 mins. But with Mangold likely out, or best case, playing hurt, Haloti should be able to manhandle him and get penetration/pressure in the face of Sanchez. Night game, black unis, not too confident of a victory, but the match up this year, is there. Just saw Evans will be out, that stinks, but the Jets now have to respect Smith, even if he is not a conistant catch guy and struggles against pump & run or press coverage. Should be fun to watch. Good to see you again Max.
  3. Look for the Ravens offense to set the tone, more like in week one. The Ravens have the size & speed advantage v the Jets linebackers, just as in the Pit game. Smith and Evans (should play) will aid in taking the safeties deep, leaving the middle wide open in man coverage, linebackers vs tight ends; advantage Ravens. The defense for the Ravens is the worrisome part. That line has to get penetration up the middle, Sanchez is terrible when you get in his face. Plus, the corners are not very good, nor is the depth there, so pressure is key from the front four, the Jets are weak up the middle....
