Gag orders tend to only last the length of the trial; it will come out. The goal is to not taint future testimony. Meanwhile, I have no sympathy for Ray, but I still think our society does a darn good job of judging people based only on their worst moments - even when those moments come when they are blackout drunk.
-
Why do you pick 2012? And the last five games only? To my knowledge, Joe and John have been here since a bit earlier... Maybe other factors changed in that last stretch. Talk about a convenient sample... Meanwhile, I know this may be simplifying things a bit - and I am certainly not happy with this team this year - but which part of Joe's game have up 6 touchdowns last night? Is he or this offense supposed to score 44 points a game?

Safeties in particular are just nonexistent

Could "have"

Bell pushed with two hands...

And yet you profess to know the quality and sincerity of his apology.
-
O's officially declined the option as of last night, but are in negotiations for a multi year deal.
-
2m was a bargain on Roberts in many ways. Regardless, we know the Yanks will pay whatever number no one else will... And they'll get less for each dinar than anyone in the league.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they pay the option because Angelos likes him so much. I would be interested to see what Nick gets in the market. I could see bidding push his contact up over that 10 number pretty fast, not that that means we should pay it. I could also see Nick in NY next year, which would be sad, but I don't know that is be worried. Question is, if you play Jones in center, I'd keep de Aza in a corner... But who fills the void? Not sure whos out there or who we have.
-
You didn't even watch his apology.
-
Davis is free, so don't have to cut or offer. Anyone who prefers the Joseph, Hundley split is silly. Neither is as good in any aspect of their game as Wieters, and we practically get him for free this year...
-
Bull. First, you care plenty about other guys who left the home team. Second, you'd be plenty feisty whether he apologized for not. Personally, I buy the apology. Guthrie is a good guy. Stupid shirt, but why do I care?
-
Crav, in the last three months there hasn't been the name of a single former Oriole or Raven that went on to play for another team that you have liked - even when it was the home team who tossed them, like Guthrie via a trade. In my view, Guthrie wore a stupid shirt, but it wasn't exactly offensive (I don't know why people cared in the first place) and even if it were intentional, out makes me think "man, I'm disappointed." Not, "man, I hate that guy who I used to really consider a cool guy ...because he wore a silly shirt, I now must change every reaction to him"

I prefer my XBox's in non-bundle form. Jenga tower is most preferable, but I'd settle for lego stack or egg carton... but bundled?

Smith did more than hand-check at the end, but that's routine on those kinds of jump balls.
-
Not sure I agree the call "needed to be made" only because on those "jump balls" where players are coming back to the ball or negotiating under it, there is always a lot of contact and motion. Both players were jockeying, both players took on the risk. That said, I am tired of the offense getting the upperhand on everything in general. WRs are generally allowed to push and chop at defenders and initiate contact while DBs can hardly move without a flag these days. But if the league wants it that way, that's what they got on the Smith play. I was listening on the radio on the way home when the play went down - Ismail and Sandusky were literally SCREAMING that the call might have been the most atrocious in history and that Smith didn't even "touch" the guy a millimeter. I saw otherwise when I got home; what dopes.

It's a great financial move, especially as the ACC will continue to falter. The whole NCAA system is a disgrace. UMD should make the move best for its finances and the BigTen is easily that answer over the ACC.

I think Randy makes it. Terps have improved each year, even this year they have generally played well. Most importantly, his recruiting skills have paid some dividends. I think he makes it at least a year more unless they implode.
-
Yeah, but the guy I was telling about only for 122 - granted they say him. But he has a career 8+ ypc. We held him to five. And under 3 in the first half. Just not how that matchup was supposed to go. CJ Brown is so bad for being so good.
-
Weird thing is that their superstar RB was supposed to destroy us. He's got the TDs, but 13 for 45 at the half might be the best rushing numbers Maryland has held an opponent to all year!

First weekend in November. It'll buy you an hour for a few weeks but not long. Will also cost you the already early evening sun.

Having the stuff doesn't matter because the new coach would run his scheme. Unless you're hiring a robot to just impersonate Kubiak. The reality is no one would want that position or take it and it wouldn't work anyway. The problem the last two decades hasn't been that coaches don't know a scheme like Kubiak's, it's that they didn't believe it or like to run it. A new face cannot run the old plan.

I will say that the somewhat scary thing us that "direct contact" in medical talk is inside of three feet - doesn't actually mean contact. Though you do have to have contact with fluids, but the aspirations from a cough should count in that range. So I'm told. Meanwhile, of course the surgeon general issue is also just about Obama... But good luck selling that in an election. Most people don't understand that 90%of the debt growth in 09,10 and 11 was due to recession (lost tax income, increased unemployment payments) and that while unemployment has slowly recovered, job growth numbers have been hindered primarily by governments cutting jobs along with budgets. In real dollars adjusted for inflation, govt surrendering on the federal level is nearly the same as it was in 2004 - and down significantly from 2010
-
The broken protocols are crazy but surprisingly not unexpected especially in bad hospitals. I did read today that if you notice you don't hear anything from the surgeon general on this... Because we don't have one. Because the Senate hasn't yet even voted on Obama's nominee for the position... Nominated last November. In case you're wondering, the lack of vote is largely because the man has said on several occasions that guns are a series health risk in american homes.
