  1. Agreed but are we going to limp into the playoffs or be firing on all cylinders ? We need to have our Mo going into the playoffs.
  2. I wonder if Nancy Grace is one of the four women
  3. Cleveland will provide a very stern test for this offense on Sunday. They defeated a very good and SB favorite Saints team yesterday and will be sky high for an AFCN rival and, like ourselves, an opportunity to go 2 and 1. Look for a dogfight.
  4. I don't know how many more of these come from behind 2-1, 3-2 wins Buck and Co have left in their back pocket. We are getting the wins, through hook or crook, and the season has been impressive. But I am really wondering how this offense is going to fare against the starting rotations of Detroit, Seattle, KC or LA.
  5. Os offense has really become punchless in the Yankees series, esp since the CD suspension. You wonder whether it's just another 2-3 game game funk or whether all these losses- Weiters, Machado, and CD - are now beginning to take their toll on the team. These are a lot of losses to overcome and you have to wonder what Buck is planning to avoid limping into the playoffs.
  6. Exactly. We left another 2-3 TD on the field the other night. And we are still having some difficulty running inside the 10. Id like to see us start to work Lorenzo T in a play here and there. Keep in mind Cleveland and their so so QB Hoyer put up 24 points against the Steelers in Heinz field. Just saying ....
  7. Should Buck try De Aza as lead off guy instead of Markakis? It might provide a needed boost to our offense.
  8. It' might be Arthur Brown time sooner than we think .
  9. Yep. Our pitching is going to be critical heading down the homestretch and into the playoffs. Playoffs? Did I say playoffs ?!!!!
  10. Totally concur with the running dominance ... up until the red zone and within the 10 yard line. I wonder why we couldn't punch it in. Not being greedy here but thinking we could/should have scored 2 more touchdowns. Kicking FGs instead of TDs. Anyone else ?
  11. And as much as I love Ozzie, his recent dismal track record and belief the game maybe passing him by, it may be time to pass the GM baton.
  12. Is there another RB signing in the making ? La Michael James (sp?) was recently released by the 9ers.
  13. Crav, for one of the few times, I totally concur and see an epic Raven meltdown. I expect our team to come out and play like Sly Stallone fought (in Rocky III) after losing Mickey and getting "knocked till tomorrow" by Clubber Lang.
  14. After last years debacle - relinquishing the post SB home opener (which I will never totally understand even with Os & PA's power) - that initiated bad karma for the entire year and led to bad feelings from the fan base, the Biscuit needs to deliver a powerful, genuine verbal presentation to the City and fans. He needs to hit a home run, if not a grand slam . He can do it . He's still on the clock !
  15. Beautiful !!!!
  16. In the short term, winning will solve many things but serve only as a band-aid. In the longer term, it will take some time to restore a positive image, rebuild fan trust and create a positive atmosphere that wins championships. It wont happen overnight - it may even take this season or next to right the ship- but winning is a good start and will certainly help.
  17. Isn't it amazing how the Rice situation has potentially derailed the season and cast serious doubts on the franchise. It certainly puts team image, character and chemistry into a unique perspective. I don't know how long it will take to restore and rebuild this organization but I sincerely hope and trust this organization has a plan moving forward. We will find out a lot about this organization in how it responds in the coming days and weeks. I think Biscotti and Co are on the clock.
  18. Crav, You are spot on. I fully expect a listless, lifeless effort on Thursday night. The Steeler-Raven rivalry is on hold, at least for Thursday.
  19. Crav, isn't it refreshing to watch the O's and enjoy their success.
  20. Yep. This is a tough pill to swallow for sure. It hurts like hell right now but it too will pass.
  21. Well put guys. I hope Ray gets help and one day, some day, is forgiven instead of being crucified as the media and society continue to pile on. It's hard to imagine how one mistake could ruin a man's life and passion. Such a travesty and sad day, regardless of whether you are a football fan.
  22. Ouch is right. In terms of setting the organization back , this has almost the same effect as Kyle Boller . At least we got a Super Bowl win out of it
  23. Well and I guess Justin F and Lorenzo T just picked up some playing time!
  24. Now. Maybe now all the Raven haters will get off our arses and start hating on something else. This whole deal makes me sick .
