  1. And did the team that beat them go to the super bowl??? Cinci looked very tough that year.
  2. He was one knee injury away from a possible Super Bowl! Cmon, Lewis has been far more successful than just about any Cinci coach. He can still get back there if Palmer gets healthy, they just have to stop drafting prima donnas and draft gamers. Not that I want him to do any of this however, but to say Lewis hasn't been successful, I don't know.
  3. Might as well throw in a rematch with the Titans in the playoffs, and with Collins as QB to boot. I like it!
  4. I think Clayton will get more and more passes his way as Flacco gets more and more experience as an NFL QB. Who can blame Flacco for zeroing in on Mason, that's a nice comfort blanket to have as a rookie. I like Clayton, I really hope he begins to string a few of these types of games together.
  5. Too many coaches are quickly pushed out of their places. I believe Marvin is a good coach, but the team has had some bad breaks and chosen some players poorly. They've also allowed themselves to hand onto certain players too long that have now begun to create problems in the locker room. What if Palmer never goes down to that knee injury, Cinci quite possibly ends up winning the SB that year. Then how would that team of responded???
  6. This team is playing well at the right time of the season. Are they good enough to beat a playoff team? We'll see in the coming weeks as we play Wash, Pitt, and Dallas. This team has measured up so far, and gotten the job done well ahead of expectations. In order to make the playoffs we're going to be forced to hit one more checkpoint, beat a quality team that is most likely headed to the playoffs. Remember we had Tennesee and Pitt on the roaps earlier this year. It can be done with a one game at a time metality. In order to accomplish great things two important elements are a vision and belief in that vision. I'm a beliver at the moment, I think this team is becoming something special.
  7. I can remember at least two or three games against the bungels that I thought Jamal should have had a great day runnin the ball only to be disappointed by a less than stellar performance. I think the problem is rooted in multiple places, a. Billick's offense, b. Jamal was clearly losing a step, c. the Bengals are a division rival, so they're familiar with their opponent no matter how awful their D was or may still be. However with the New Coach, three guys clearly capable of picking up the load, we should have a great day runnin the ball. This Ravens fans is not a bad problem to have! ;)
  8. This topic got way off base really fast lol.........so I guess I'll put my two cents in as well lol! National healthcare is not what it's cracked up to be, we'll all end up paying big time in taxes, and the care will eventually suck after about 10 years. I've been in a small version of national healthcare called the US Armed Forces, anyone who thinks it will be any different than that is simply kidding themselves. Nothing we can do now though, it's on it's way, I hope everyone enjoys what they're insisting will be a better system.
  9. As long as he doesn't become your favorite player we should be alright! See the afore mentioned Taylor and Double D. :P JK Crav,
  10. Ngata needs to be more disruptive on a regular basis. He's havin a great year, but by comarison those other guys are making huge impacts game in and game out. Ngata is 26th in tackles for all defensive lineman. (7th for defensive tackles excluding defensive ends, although NFL.com has him listed as a DE, isn't he a DT?) With 1 sack he's 111th in the NFL. He does lead the league in passes defensed or deflected however you want to put it. To make the Pro Bowl he's gonna have to have a greater impact, and taking the purple shades off, he doesn't. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, don't want to trade him or anything, but he's no Haynesworth or Rogers. He has been doing a great job keeping guys off Ray as Ray is making far more plays this year. If Haloti is to make the Pro Bowl he's got to get more sacks and tackles for losses.
  11. Everyone has off nights..........and I'm convinced the Giants are just that good. Other teams will not do that to us.
  12. Webster who??? lol Flash back to my Brownie days sorry all! lol
  13. Can't be any worse than what the Giants brought and I thought Flacco handled that well. The second INT was not his fault, that's on the receiver. Why oh why has no one (ESPN, NFL, etc.) seperated INTs into receiver and QB INTs. I know the line can get hazey, but really, should the QB really be at fault when they hit a receiver in the hands??? Anyways, whether it's Cam's offense or Flacco's maturity, they'll handle the heat. Maybe it's a combination of the two.
  14. I think the Ravens will win this one going away, while they didn't look it against the Giants, (They're a hell of a team) this Ravens team is talented and Flacco has poise beyond his years. Every game the kid gets better and better. Ravens 28 Eagles 13.
