  1. Fair enough, but have enough respect for other people's opinions and perogatives. To lose respect for JJ because he's a hunter is a bit extreme. I love animals too, however I also enjoy hunting. Simply because I like to hunt does not mean I appreciate animals any less. Just disagree with JJ, don't lose repsect for something that he enjoys simply cuz you don't.
  2. Why would you lose respect for JJ??? Please tell me it's not cuz he's a hunter, not all hunters are red necked shoot at anything morons.
  3. I still believe in Demetrius Williams. He can be that guy.
  4. I was going to say something about the Cassell comment lol, especially since the subject was Favre lol. Like he has never thrown any games away lol.
  5. Brett Favre does not belong there, QBs that are better right now, Phillip Rivers Chad Pennington (Ironically) Matt Shaub Matt Cassell Ridiculous, Favre does not belong at the Pro Bowl, I don't care what he's meant to football. He's had his time.
  6. The Bills tried to be unconventional and called a roll-out for Losman with two minutes remaining and I believe a four point lead. Losman fumbled, the Jets recovered and scored, ballgame. I'm taking a wait and see attitude right now. I wanted that game like everyone else, however this years Ravens have exceeded sooooo many peoples expectations, I'm just gonna enjoy a good season and be glad that Cameron is here and not anywhere else. It seems we have a solid coaching staff and a great core of players. I'm very interested in what Ozzie will do next. I'm also very interested to see if we can win out and make the playoffs with and 11-5 record. Not bad at all with a rookie QB! Also, when we won the SuperBowl didn't we lose to the Titans twice that year before we finally beat them in their house during the playoffs???
  7. Wouldn't they have to win the SB first????
  8. Interesting, didn't even look at it from that angle..........I'm thinking Willis is really hurt, although it could very well be a special teams signing. We could really use a guy that can make plays on special teams.
  9. I've got a feeling we'll have addressed wrapping Ben up by now. Even Scott will have to acknowledge his past failures. I'm not worried about Moore...............maybe on the dump off pass, but rushing wise I'm not worried. Seems the Steelers vaunted running game has been struggling some, that's not a good thing going against us. (Although, I'm sure TB was thinking the same thing this past Monday! Eek) We beat the Steelers once this year in their place with a rookie QB that was hardly ready............the Steelers better be ready for this one in our place or the game will get away from them quickly.......Tomlin has already acknowledged that. Joe has been good at picking up the blitz and making halftime adjustments, I'm confident we'll handle the blitz.
  10. Anyone ever wonder why we never have him in as a deep threat receiver? He seems to have good hands for a DB, I don't recall him dropping many INT opportunites. He seems to have the speed to seperate based on the punt return TDs and the INT TDs. Just a thought. Dallas tried it with Deion several years ago.........if Deion could catch he would've had a ton of TDs.
  11. I have to admit, Tomlin is a class act, and a very good football coach. You all know I'm all Ravens, just givin credit where credit is due. The guy recognizes the task ahead and I don't believe he's blowing smoke, he knows he has one hell of a hill to climb and I'm sure he'll have the Steelers ready. Gonna be a hell of a game.
  12. When a team is winning is there really a problem? At this point in the season we should continue doing what we are doing as it is working and has this team playing way beyond expectations. If Willis is not suited for this team and management made a bad move, they'll address it in the offseason. Right now, I would say it's critical to keep that team together this time of year. I'm assuming that's how some of the coaches are treating this situation. Since it's not detrimental, deal with it during the offseason. We're fortunate that it is not.
  13. At this point, things are going well, why do we need a TO prima donna issue with someone that starts demanding the ball through the media? He's not demanding the ball, because I believe he's been banged up. He's being a team player, and there's nothing wrong with that. I do like players to be competitive and want to have the ball, but the media is not the place to express that. Willis also is not the brightest light bulb out there, so I'm sure he's not very smooth and effective at expressing his feelings. I'm sure he wants the ball and Willis will get the ball when it's time. If Willis is no longer the runner he used to be, I guess we overpayed for a year of production, fortunately it has not hurt us. Regardless, everything is workin now, so who cares? As far as Willis' conditioning, can't argue that point, a professional athlete needs to stay in shape year round if they expect to stay successful. Everything is runnin smoothly, let the season play out. I've got a feelin Willis has truely just been banged up.
  14. I guess I just don't respect Dallas' defense. I truely didn't realize they were ranked that highly cuz every game I see with them seems to be a shootout. If that is the case, that's awesome, and even better challenge for Flacco and the Ravens. We win out and we've put the league on notice.
  15. Well, the Skins and Steelers are legit. The Cowboys have an awful defense. Philly defense is very good, I was impressed with the way Flacco handled the pass rush.
  16. I'm worried about their speedy recievers, hopefully we'll keep them in check. We should win this one, I feel this is one of the games we're supposed to win.
  17. Willis is being a team player, he also said he will be ready to go when his number is called, nuff said.
  18. I guarantee everyone but the colts does not want to play us. Peyton.......he's OK with it lol.
  19. That's cuz he's Joltin Joe! Playin stiffin competition too.
  20. Gonna need em against Dallas. I don't like to think too far ahead, but that is a reality. K, back to one game at a time here, next up, Washington.
  21. We need to beat Pit and Dallas, not to mention Washington before we can be considered that good.
  22. I'm of the same mind now that I've seen the kid play, he's awesome. Makes great decisions and is a natural leader, I like that he's very calm in the pocket and makes jokes in the huddle. Joe Montana used to do the same thing.
  23. Very important, we've got to keep him healthy.
  24. I was soooooo pissed when we drafted Flacco. I was like what the hell are we doin draftin some slacker from a DII school! Oh well, shows what the hell I know lol. I love this kid, he's awesome!
