Just heard this morning that the Browns D has given up since Garrett has been suspended.

After the poor play I think Lamar and otehrs want payback. You have multiple guys looking to get out of Cle. This will not look good.

Zues Jr has been a real steal.

Other let him sit with a quite phone. But if I were a gm and I thought Suggs would help the Ravens I put in that claim.

Take care of business this week and the last week makes no difference. Cle will quit if the rave slap them some. Do not play the starters the whole time in a game that matters to Pitt.

15 mins is to much time? They need to stay crisp and you only do that by practice and play.

I have been thinking about this. If Roman leaves I think Ken Niumatalolo might be a real solid replacement. Roman talked to him and others when setting up what they have now. I am sure he can add more passing to what he does now. It could be a solid replacement.

They win against Cle and they have home field locked up no matter what. That is why Week 17 doesn't matter. But you don't want 3 weeks off to let things stagnate. So a quarter of work to keep sharp but 3 quarters off no avoid injury.

My worry is the week off before the SB. It gives an extra week for the NFC team to break down the offense and teach their defenders how to play this. Alos I suspect it will be SF representing. Getting 2 bites at that apple is real handy.

I was really thinking with joe at qb. I have always believed in the run. Power run specifically. But in this nfl if you have a qb that is a statue and isn't the best at breaking a d down they are toast. The run will stop so the pa is out the window. Then it becomes a convention at the drop back point.

The one thing I would add is you have to be able to pass adaquatly. If you can't the d will sell out to stop the run and you are sunk.

I would like to see a league base pay and incentives pay structure. That is what I think would be the best for the game. It would eliminate the paycheck players. That would be so hard to get with the nflpa. One thing I would like as an exception to what they have now is something like the Larry Bird exception. Any player that is drafted/signed as an un drafted fa can have a portion of their salary exempted from the cap. It starts at say yr 6. It could start at maybe .5 percent. Every yr after that the exemption increases by a half percent. This would give a team that developers some breathing room. Also if a team really wants a guy they will have to go top shelf to get him. i do agree there are a few really highly paid positions but when you have a qb eating a quarter of the cap that leaves so little for the rest of the team. btw I would like to see a coaches cap also.
