  1. According to the press he is studly out there.
  2. So Joe's agent will ask for a deal that a 1 and 2 time SB winners have gotten. Joe isn't nearly as porficient as Brees. He also isn't as clutch as Ben.
  3. Who cares. The cash for many of these guys is another competition in and of itself.
  4. So. Drew Bledsoe got himself a huge contract but he never cashed the checks and drove a beat up pickup truck.
  5. And just signed Jamie Moyer.
  6. I knew it because the prices were going up to fast for to long. At some point it had to fall.

  8. I knew the housing market was going down by 2003.
  9. He is asking for money like that now. That is the problem.
  10. I said months ago that they should let him play out the deal. Either he proves he is the man or he takes a more reasonable deal.
  11. I have always said Joe's expectations are to high. He should be paid about top 10 QB not top 5 like it seems he wants.
  12. http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2012-06-04/news/bs-md-jamal-lewis-bankruptcy-20120604_1_bankruptcy-united-athletes-foundation-georgia-court
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elOvO4UJ7Ls&feature=player_embedded I guess the coaching thing didn't work out.
  14. But Ben has never shown that he is a guy that sits in the pocket and takes a team apart. He is a guy who is there gets pushed out sits outside for a few secs shrugs off the rush move a little more and find the guy who comes open. HE isn't a quick hitter but a long play guy.
  15. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/draft/y2012/draftcaster.jsp That blows. The O's pick Gausman, Kevin LSU, LA RHP L/R SO 6'04" 195lbs DOB: 01/06/91 | Full Scouting ReportComing out of Colorado as a high schooler, scouts liked Gausman's arm strength but an inconsistent spring and signability issues caused a slide until the sixth round, where Gausman reportedly turned down an above-slot offer from the Dodgers. Now he's back just two years later as a Draft-eligible sophomore.Gausman still has the electric stuff, this time with a little more polish. He'll run his fastball up to 94 mph and he's still projectable given there's plenty of room on his frame to add strength. The heater has plenty of life to it and gets on hitters quickly thanks to a loose and easy delivery. His breaking ball has the chance to be an average offering and he now throws a changeup that fades and sinks and could be an above-average pitch. The right-hander still struggles a bit with command, particularly with his breaking pitch and the delivery on his changeup doesn't always work. But with his size, mound presence and arm, he has all the makings of a frontline starter, one who shouldn't stay on Draft boards for very long if he has a productive sophomore season.
  16. The thing is you need posession WR's for that kind of offense. You have more HR guys. It is jamming square pegs into round holes. In a couple of yrs as the parts change out it could work but now they would be older at several spots.
  17. Yeah but there is a lot of trasition there. I read an article that Rooney wanted Ben to be more of a pocket passer and not take all the hits. So he wants him to stop doing what makes hima danger to every team in the league. He should let him take his hits and prepare to move on from him when Ben falls apart. I am seeing about 10 wins up there.

  19. True. The angle sucks but he does look much smaller.
  20. I still think he is full of it.

  22. You were talking about cody and thinking he was a 1st round. They pay lots of guys who don't sniff the field. It happens all the time.
  23. Ehhh! Wrong again. http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?season=2005#round2 With eth 53rd pick in the 2nd round the Baltimore Ravens select Dan Cody LB out of Uiniversity of Okl. The first pick in 2005 was a WR who was injury prone who they would not cut ties with. His name was Mark Clayton. http://content.usatoday.com/sportsdata/football/nfl/salaries/player/Dan-Cody So Dan got a 3 yr deal with a $760,000 SB. His 1st season he got $230k as a base salary making his rookie cap number $570k. In his 2nd he got $310k for a cap number of $ 668,613. In his 3rd yr his base was $ 385,000 and a cap hit of $ 741,933. The Ravens also signed him as a RFA in 2008 to a $460k deal. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/baltimore-ravens/dan-cody/ http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/baltimore-ravens/michael-mcadoo/ McAdoo was a $376,667 cap hit last yr. This season he is a $466,667 hit. In 2013 his cap # is $556,667. McAdoo is getting 2012 cap numbers verses 2005 for Cody. The kid costs nothing. If he works out he is a steal. If he fails he costs nothing. BTW Crav you might want to look into furnishing facts since your recall is obviously suspect.
  24. Dan was a 2nd round I think. That is far different to UDFA.
