I agree with a downtown race track. It should be attached to a casino with table games and sports book. Also connect an arena and hotel. The 4 things pulled together as a destination. As for the Preakness leaving I believe I recall it was talked about as a possiblity in Fla. Some track down there was said to be perfect.

Well I would say that not being able to byob is a rule change. It has lowered the infield attendance. What Annapolis has done I agree is wrong. The Preakness will leave MD and it is Annapolis' fault.

I don't think it hurts at all. He has threatened to retire twice under this contract. I do not see them giving him a long term deal after this contract is done. They would basically go yr to yr with him if they are smart. If you give him big upfront cash and he retires on you it is a death blow with the small caps.
