  1. Which his record is now 8 - 35 when predicting that.

HA!!! Im 11-5 this year, soon to be 12-5

So you predicted that for every game this season? For something that is supposed to be a sure thing 11-5 isnt that great. I also remember seasons where you were wrong most if not all times in calling that, thats why the team and its fans petitioned this site for that change.

  2. Wow holy freakin crap lol, two people actually made cases for a subject and simply disagreed at a grey middle ground. Hallefreakinlluehyah!!!!!!!!!! lol If only Sock were here to witness this. :) I love this board! Happy New Years I'm goin to get crunked, Crav you should be too!

    Group hug!

  3. I also agree here, I do believe the momentum of the game was shifting in our favor. After the INT, Joe was a bit hard on himself and he did not recover.

Crav isn't that far off here.

I see both of your points. It was a huge game changing play. However they lost by 20 points. I'll never agree that a 20 point loss would be different if not for one play. Its just me.

  4. Can I get the name and number of your supplier?

Its true Spenny, look we were driving, the score was 20-10, Flacco hits Mason and what are the odds of the ball bouncing off Masons chest right into a pick 6. Im telling ya, we would have cut that lead to 3, it would have changed the outcome of that game..

While I agree it was a huge play, even without it and with a Ravens TD the Ravens are still losing by 3. I dont have the psychic abilities that you do to see that the game would have then been won by the Ravens. I do think that saying a 30-10 loss was because of one fluke play is silly. Its as silly as Giant fans after the SB claiming if that defensive holding play wasnt called the game would have been different.

BY the way, thanks for the PM with your supplier's info. I'll tell him Cravn sent me.

  5. Give Flacco the 24th ranked SoS and Ryan the 4th hardest SoS and we'll see who's got better numbers. All things being equal, though, Ryan was going to win by virtue of hype factor.

I have a feeling that Flacco just doesn't give a shit. He's just going to win.

Do you really think any of them care?

  6. In your dream..Thats why the Ravens went thru the Big Bad NFC Least like a hot knife thru butter. And if not for a fluke play they would have beaten the Giants.

Can I get the name and number of your supplier?

Both Ryan and Flacco had good rookie seasons, Ryan's stats were slightly better and he was a higher profile pick. So I have no problem with it. Likewise I would have been fine if Flacco won it. In the end it doesnt mean a whole lot to me.

  7. My brother got one and was showing me it on Christmas. It seemed really cool.

I love technology but that hasnt extended to me with cell phones yet. I have one, but its kept on the floor of my car in case of an emergency. I'll carry it if I am expecting a phone call, but under normal circumstances I wont. I dont want to be taking phone calls in stores, libraries, etc.

I do realize I am the odd one here, even older family members laugh at me.

  8. No jinx either. If we lose then we don't deserve the playoffs (Unless the Pats lose early and we rest all of our starters).

Thats how I feel. While it would suck to finish 10-6 and miss the playoffs the Ravens know they will probably have to win tomorrow to make it. The Jags game should be won, so if they dont win and miss, they can only blame themselves.

I also dont think Garrard said anything wrong or inflammatory.

  9. Regardless, the SYSTEM does need some kind of fixing.

Says everyone but the owners and players.

The Yankees will have nine players being paid $13 million or more in 2009. Those nine players – Teixeira, Sabathia, Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, A.J. Burnett, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, Hideki Matsui and Johnny Damon – combine for $159.1 million, more than the payroll of any other team.

    The system is great!

  10. I love baseball, probably more than I like football. I may have had enough though. The owners and players are OK with say about 6 teams being contenders and the rest farm teams for the top teams. Ive had enough. When one team smarting from not winning the world series (but still being very successful)can grab the top three agents at a cost of 400 million plus its a joke. Is that supposed to be impressive? Is a GM with unlimited resources a good one? And it pisses me off that the owners and players are fine with it.

Sure make your money, owners and players, but dont spend time wondering why preseason football beats MLB pennant race games in August, although I am sure I will read articles wondering why next year. That fault lies solely on you.

  11. Someone should remind Cowher that he works for CBS, not the Steelers. He was whining about it like the towel is a religious artifact. The towels are often used to taunt, so turnabout is fair play. The towels tradition is weak anyhow.

Oh and Bradshaw didnt like it either.

  12. I'd rather play the Titans. The Steelers seem to find ways to win against the Ravens right now. So while a win against the Steelers would be more satisfying, I like the chances against the Titans better.
