DEONTE THOMPSON HAS MADE HIS CASE ..........
rastaman831226 replied to rastaman831226's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Sooooooo smooth logic says you cut a guy who's coming into his own and keep the guy who hasn't shown any upside? Bad gamble. -

DEONTE THOMPSON HAS MADE HIS CASE ..........

If you want this to boil down to a contest between Campanero and Thompson, save your breath and stop deluding yourself. Thompson's shown up like a superstar while Campanero hasn't been a blip on the radar. The truth is Campanero hasm't elevated his game beyond playing with the 3's against 3's. Whatta mistake and a waste of 2 draft picks. -
Maybe we oughtta rethink that policy.
-
Deonte Thompson has made his case for making the 53 man roster. Who gets cut? Who winds up on the Taxi Squad?
-
Would like to see Tyrod run with the ones for change. He's making leomomade outta lemons with the two's in Kubiak's system. Who is Wenning?
-
Against Washington, Tyrod looked good again. Why did they draft Wenning? Deonte Thompson also looked good again and should be a definite to make yhe final 53 man squad.
-
Not buying into this deep draft thing. Were that true, we would not have drafted Wenning or Campanero but drafted some badly needed secondary talent instead.
-
After reading the Sun article about Biscioti's influence on draft day, I've started to wonder if this was solely an Ozzie or Acosta move. You'll have to admit trading 2 of next season's draft choices to get back into this season's draft to get this guy was waaaaaay too reckless especially for a Ravens organization that prides itself on making the right moves at the right time.
-
Given this kid's resume - I don't think so and besides, losing this guy wouldn't break this team.
-
Put Campenera on the practice squad. Nobody will pick him up. He's 5'8* 185 pounds, injury prone, hasn't shown a thing this preseason and would have remained undrafted were not for the Ravens. Still don't understand this pick. To trade 2 of next year's precious dradt picks to get this guy boggles my mind. This is not an Ozzie move. This feels more like a DeCosta or Bisciotti move. Not good.

Don't know what you bubbleheads are complaining about. Tyrod Taylor has looked good in this Kubiac offense.

Could Bernard Pierce supplant Ray Rice?
rastaman831226 replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Replace Rice? Not a shot. Pierce lacks Rice's durability and shelf life. Pierce, because of his running style ( upright and downhill ) has about 2 more years of NFL career left in him. -
Finally someone has the grit to openly admit that the Air Flacco Show hasn't gotten it done and can't get it done. Thankfully, it's now back to the good ole successfull run first philosophy.

Senate Seeks to Extend Rice Suspension
rastaman831226 replied to ForceEight's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Detrimate? Osama and Al Queda are dead. The economy has picked up. I'm making money hand over fist and dang happy about it. Detrimate - I don't think so. -
Strange, but Whoopie Goldberg said the exact same thing as Stephen A. Smith on the View and gets no grief. Is that sexism or what?
-
This one's a pop up. Two game suspension based on the evidence on hand: 4 - 6 game suspension based on inuendo and speculation.
-
There is no argument for 4 - 6 games. Unless there is video that Ray Rice " ... knocked a woman unconcious in a drumken rage... ", you're blowing smoke out your butt. A 4 - 6 game suspension may be the trendy thing to say, but is it the right thing to do? Hell no. Grow up.
-
Four to six games? I challenge you to make your case. The floor is yours.
-
Sorta like what Mason used to say about Kyle Boller. Like varaven says let's see how this translates on the field.
-
I lean toward this conclusion.
-
..................... did not warrant an attempt to get a conviction.
-
Someone already did and it wasn't enough to warrant a conviction.
-
Way too easy? Why are people so quick to convict Ray Rice on evidence that may not or may exist. The fact is one prosecuter dropped the case while the other continued with the case and wound up with zilch. So much for evidence.
-
No, it doesn't exist.
