Ok there is a reason they are called "highlights". You picked 9 passes out of 43, 21% of his throws, thats exactly how we should evaluate him. So 21% of the time Flacco is great out there reading the field. At least we can agree on something. Please show me in the bengals game how flacco threw anything in the middle of the field. Another thing you need to remember, this was earlier in the yr. Teams have figured out that Rice is a monster and Mason is our best wr. Why are we struggling now? B/c Flacco still zeros in on these guys and is slow thru his reads. I was at the game in Cincy, and he looked like he never had played the position before. There were guys running wide open thru the middle. My biggest pt still remains flacco is the reason why this offense struggles. As he gets better so will the offense and team for that matter. People will be saying Cam is great and that Kelly Washington was the greatest FA pick ever, until then start pointing some blame on the man running the show, your golden boy, Joe Flacco.

Go look at the thread "Best stat of the Night" Flacco gets this treatment from everyone. Clayton had the same PI on the play earlier in the drive that didn't get called... so that evens out. The fumble was def unfortunate, but you know he caught and was trying to get some extra yards. I'm not going to beat him up for the effort. Hauschka is a totally different story.... Kickers can't make clutch kicks they should be held liable.

So your telling me when we go 4 and 5 wide...that no wr can get open or that cam can't design a route for a play to work? Thats a crock. MOST of the time Flacco can only convert the out route or the checkdown. Look at the tape on that. You can find that in both Bengals games, vikings game and every game sense.

Now i never said Joe was in Boller category. My pt with Joe is he is the main reason this team is what it is, an avg. team. He needs to become more consistent, he is way to erratic. Ray Rice has been saving Joe Flacco all yr with his amazing runs after checkdowns. Flacco doesn't progress through his reads nor does he put the nail in the coffin when it comes to the endzone. It's great throwing for all those yards, but how can you not throw a 5 yd comeback td. Carson Palmer has no problem sticking a 5 yd td pass, flacco's problem lies with his ability to read the play. trust your freaking arm and stick the ball into his chest. A simple hook route will work in the endzone but flacco never see's it until it's either not open or he is under pressuer.

Flacco barely looks to the middle of the field.....He stares down his wrs. and rarely goes thru his reads. If mason is covered, he checks down or panics and gets sacked. Flacco plays improves...so will the teams offense.

I will tell you how Flacco is regressing.... 1.)He misses alot of easy throws. Good qbs don't let that happen, when they have an open wr they stick it right there. 2.)Didn't pick up an pre-snap blitzes. Good qbs will learn after the first or second time what a delayed lb blitz. 3.) Ball security - he fumbled twice and took a sack only amateur qbs should be taken. The pt is..... we can all blame cam cameron, lack of a wr or the oline, but in the end the weight is on the qbs shoulders. If flacco executes and delivers when HE DOES get protection were not in the position to get blitzed like crazy in the 4th. When we win Flacco usually plays well, when we lose Flacco plays below average and when were in a dogfight it's b/c Flacco is playing avg. Why are we a average team? B/c Flacco, right now, is playing as an avg. qb. Who won the game for us last night? Not Joe Flacco. It was Ray Rice and Paul Kruger. Flacco has yet to win a close game by himself.

The emergence of Mark Clayton in this game is HUGE for us, especially going into next week. With Woodson prolly going to shut down Mason, were definatly going to need Clayton to step up again this Monday. Hopefully our pass rush comes out hott and plants rodgers a few times. I feel pretty confident that we can run and pass on the packers, here's hoping the defense can make some stops.

I love watching this team, but it has become unbearable this yr. We beat ourselves week in and week out with turnovers and penalites.

Why does Carson Palmer play like junk against everyone but Ravens? Bengals defense is carrying this team, that pass offense is about like the ravens but with better weapons.

DC do you blame Cam for this loss? To me when your on the 1 yd line and you oline cant get a push, that is execution, which is lacking on this team.

Cam's gameplan was fine...it comes down to execution with this team. Team loaded with talent, capable of getting to SB, but we don't execute you become a .500 team. Oher costly fall start making 3rd down conversion difficult, chester getting blown up on 3rd and inches in first half, not being able to get yd from 1 yd line, mason dropping a big gainer, flacco throwing pick, missed kick (which to me isn't on cundiff, that kick was rushed by right side not blocking and bad snap), etc. We got the right people in the right seats, but the damn bus won't start.
