  1. That oline is starting to look a whole lot better now....Zutt ain't much bigger than Gino but is more athletic and knows the zone blocking scheme that Kubes runs.....I never heard of him before yesterday, but all reports say he was the best fit for us since getting Mack was near impossible...
  2. They can when they bite an opponents ear off and are a convicted felon.....Ali was turned down for refusing the draft and I'm sure there are others but the point is not boxing rules versus NFL rules.....It's that much worse things than bullying has been overlooked in pro sports, and this one is more who he bullied than anything else....Unjust, just like Goodell's erratic fines.....
  3. That makes no difference if the commission won't license them to fight....But we're getting off subject here... The point is the same, it can't be a double standard....
  4. Well said; and I don't think there's anyone in our LR that wouldn't pop him in the mouth if he bullied them, including little Ray.... What you allow people to do to you will increase....So you have to set some boundaries and fight for the right, if need be....
  5. So does Jamison Hensley.... http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens Looks like we gave up a 5th in 2015 from our projected 11 picks we'll have. And Ozzie is already working on a cap friendly new contract for him....He's really happy to be coming here with his old Rutgers buddy RR....
  6. True but they still have to meet the boxing associations requirements to be approved to box and it is mainstream pro sports but I gave more examples than him....It's up for interpretation I guess and they will do what they want, it's up to us if we accept it or not......
  7. Wow, a 4 way option.....LG, C,RT and RG in case of injury.....A lot of scenarios with this guy....Not sure C is the best just yet, but I'd put an orange street cone in at center before Gino....
  8. Was that as bad as Mike Tyson who went to jail for raping a girl and was known for beating his women as per his wife, biting Holyfield's ear off....Yet he was let back in the ring and considered one of the greatest of all times.....Or Ben for raping a college girl in a bathroom and still Pitts beloved qb.....Along with the numerous DUI's that could kill an innocent bystander yet it's all quickly forgotten.... Richie is a choir boy compared to some of these other thugs in the league.....But he's being singled out because of the fear of being tagged as a racist....Plain and simple...
  9. His career may very well be over because of this one incident mainly but it's a double standard....When you consider what Vick did and went to jail for, Plax too, what Jamaal did and Ray's involvement in a hanus crime....Even coaches caught cheating and marring the validity of the league, this is such a minor deal compared to them and the guy is being treated unfairly if that is the final result.....
  10. That's what I'm sayin' Crav.....Wrong is wrong no matter who does it and all do some....It's a football game full of testosterone maniacs, let's not pretend it's a model normalcy.....You know the Barbarian in all of us love it when one of ours gets nasty and puts the Ba wappup on the opposition...Let the guy be his own man and play ball....
  11. LT ? please !! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrence_Taylor "contrast to his on-field success Taylor was already developing a reputation for recklessness off the field; after nearly getting killed during the season when his speeding resulted in a car crash, Young told the team's trainer he would be surprised if the linebacker lived past the age of 30, and the Giants insured Taylor's life for $2 million".[23] And he said in an interview on tv that he was drugged up on the field and tried to injure a player on every tackle.....And he's a football hero to many....See my point ?...
  12. This team is built around Joe's pocket style passing attack Crav, think about it, you put in a short scrambling qb behind a 6'6 pocket passer with recvrs that are running routes and timing patterns instead of everyone following Ty from one side the field to the other while he tries to find an open man and ends up running it himself most of the time.....We should have someone who can step into our system and be somewhat capable of running it.....If Joe had not had to play injured last yr, we could have made the playoffs for 6 straight, but they knew Ty could not do it....He's pre season and practice material IMO....
  13. Does anyone think Lambert, Mean Joe Greene, LT, Dobler ,Ray Lewis etc etc...Weren't Bullies on the field of play and some off the field ? Well they were....I don't know if Richie can learn to control it enough to satisfy both on and off field situations, but ultimately it's about winning football games and he has proven he can help do that.....If he can't do it , cut him but there is no harm in taking a look....IMO These aren't Priests, they're big strong nasty violent NFL football players, we're speaking of.... Just Win Baby !!!!
  14. Would you be ok with it ? On March 17, 2010, Incognito signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.[27] 2010 seasonIn 2010, the Miami Dolphins signed Incognito to a one-year deal in order to help strengthen their offensive line. Incognito started all 16 games of the season playing left guard and center. According to Pro Football Focus he was ranked in the Top 20 for Pass Blocking Efficiency.[28] 2011 seasonIn 2011, the Dolphins re-signed Incognito, this time to a three-year deal. Incognito started 15 games and allowed just 1.5 sacks on the year. 2012 season Incognito started all 16 games of the 2012 season at left guard.[31] Incognito made his first Pro Bowl appearance after the 2012 season.[32]
  15. Seriously !!...This Tyrod Taylor ??? Game statsPassing stats...................Notice No TD's ......2 INT's http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/14163/tyrod-taylor
  16. This is Tyrod's last yr on his rookie contract, so yea Ozzie mentioned that and you can bet that he's looking for a Pistol type to help in preps for teams that run it.....That's all Ty was any good for, so he ain't gettin paid....fagettaboutit !!!!
  17. He plays both SS and FS according to this article.... A team source has informed RSR that newly acquired safety Darian Stewart is a possible starter if the Ravens don’t get a good free safety in the draft. The team believes that Stewart is a better fit than James Ihedigbo. The former St. Louis Ram isn’t as physical as Dig but more rangy. The team hopes that he eventually is their No. 3 safety given his ability to play both free and strong safety.
  18. Very True, I ain't complaining, just puzzled....But I think Ozzie has his eye on someone in the draft..... I saw some kid at the combine that the analysts were comparing to Ed......I'm not a college fan so I can't remember his name or anything, just what they were saying about him.... Trust and believe, is all we can do though...Then if we don't get one, yell at the wife, punish the kids and kick the dog every game day...
  19. I don't think anyone else does either..... The Baltimore Ravens finally added a free-agent safety. Is it Chris Clemons? Thomas DeCoud? How about Champ Bailey? Well, no. The Ravens agreed on a one-year deal with Darian Stewart. If you're wondering who this is, you're not alone.
  20. You were right Grub, still up in the air... Posted March 21, 2014 2014 NFL free agency: LeGarrette Blount to visit Pittsburgh SteelersNFL Free Agency, Pittsburgh SteelersThe Pittsburgh Steelers flirted with veteran running back Maurice Jones-Drew during a two-day visit earlier this week but Jones-Drew ultimately left the Steel City without a contract. Now, rather than showing interest in a running back on the decline, the Steelers are expected to visit with one who is coming off his most productive NFL season. According to the National Football Post, the Steelers will be meeting with New England Patriots free agent LeGarrette Blount on Sunday night
  21. Not if Blount is going there.. UPDATE: After visiting the Steelers on Wednesday, Jones-Drew will return to the team's facility Thursday, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported, per a team source.
  22. I thought they were signing MJD ?
