  1. I TOLD YOU !!!!.....LOL, just kidding....Well so much for my smoke and mirrors theory !! .....
  2. Blount would be nice because he is a bruiser, but I think he is playing the latest Patriots market game, just to get a better offer to stay there...Like Edelman and Wilfork did.... The RB market is down so he would be smart to stay where he is and hope it makes a come back...
  3. Well it should be interesting to know some about the history of the team for everyone....And no it was not the same thing, because Irsay had lost the fans here with his irrational handling of the team and wanted a new stadium to fix a problem that he was causing....That would not have changed anything.....Art had a reasonable reason and a stable track record of handling the Browns and was all but ignored.....We got ripped off for our expansion team and had no other choice but to give Tagliaboob a taste of his own medicine, so we brought the Browns here but again unlike Irsay, we left them their name, colors and history, Irsay stole ours....Big difference IMO..... But I will say for me, I am a much bigger fan of the Ravens than I was the Colts, and like the article said; we are better off now than then....
  4. 30 years on, Baltimore better without Colts http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens Under the cover of darkness AP Photo/Bill SmithRumors swirled about the Colts moving in early 1984. Here, then-owner Robert Irsay had a heated exchange with reporters, denying a rumor he'd made a deal to move the team to Phoenix. It had been rumored for weeks in March 1984 that Irsay was going to move the Colts. No one believed him. Many thought Irsay's erratic behavior and odd demands would keep the Colts in Baltimore. That perception changed when The Baltimore Evening Sun reporter Ken Murray received a call at 7 p.m. from a man who saw a Mayflower van heading toward the Colts' complex. Murray called Colts coach Frank Kush, who acknowledged the team was in the process of moving. It's just time to put this date in perspective. Three decades later, Baltimore is better off without the Colts. This is no longer blasphemy to say. This is simply reality.
  5. 2-4 games for sure, but as I said before, he won't do any jail time if they can even convict him on the charge.....
  6. Don't you think that after a head injury of any kind that requires an operation, that the risk is too high for the reward ? Especially at that level.....Not like he had millions just around the corner....
  7. And all of them were better than Ray and Pierce last yr....
  8. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/27/moreno-deal-reconfirms-poor-state-of-running-back-market/ Moreno deal reconfirms poor state of running back marketWith the exception of Adrian Peterson and LeSean McCoy, it still doesn’t pay to be a running back. This year, the top of the market has stagnated at $3.5 million per year for the likes of Toby Gerhart and Donald Brown (both of whom signed three-year contracts in Jacksonville and San Diego, respectively) and Ben Tate (who signed a two-year deal in Cleveland). For former first-round pick Knowshon Moreno, the best deal consisted of $2.5 million in signing bonus and base salary, along with another $500,000 in roster bonuses, per a source with knowledge of Moreno’s one-year contract in Miami. That’s a max package of $3 million. For a guy who gained more than 1,000 yards in 2013. Come on Ozzie, ready set go....
  9. That's what I said, if they don't have it on cam, he's home free, they can't prove it....But even if they do and find him guilty, he won't see one day of prison time.....1st offense, is like bonus points in a court of law....Biscuit is standing by him, he already said so, hey it's his money...I'd of traded him after last yr anyway if I could have.....He's done....IMO
  10. They deserve most of it back after the embarrassing mess he was last yr.....He is getting suspended, you can book that one in....The question will be 2 or 4 games, either one is costing him and helping the team....But unless they have him dead up on that elevator cam, he's not getting convicted of this....Their star witness ain't on their side and I don't think they can force her to testify because they are engaged, so the state would have to prosecute on their own with no other witness in that elevator....Interesting to see the outcome of this one....He has no prior record and that is greatly in his favor....Oh and say hello to a new RB for sure....
  11. Good point, Money.....I could understand that....My only reservation is that RM's actions were far more serious and dangerous than RI's, but that does make sense.....
  12. Redskins 2nd qb is the best , they are just too embarrassed to admit it....
  13. Seems like the parents should have a few brain tests themselves for allowing or encouraging him to go back on the field after the incident and ordeal that he had already went through earlier.....No matter what doctors or anyone else says, it certainly isn't worth the risk just to play a game....
  14. This is just what I mean T, you say Richie is a phsycho and you wouldn't want him on your team because of his bullying ways, but this guy gets arrested multiple times in a 2 yr span and one of them is for shooting a gun at someone.....Don't you think that judgement is a little flawed ? Not yours personally but over all, yet that is the view of many fans....I think it's totally unfair, and personally, I don't want either of them on our team, but fair is fair and wrong is wrong no matter who it's handed to...
  15. I disagree, but it's been a good discussion....Now let's hope Joe don't go out and slap some old lady and get suspended...lol
  16. The article says he had the same injury before and was cleared by doctors to return to football...I can't imagine a brain injury ever being cleared for such a violent sport as football....Now someone there is losing their license to practice, and a whole lot of money, but nothing could ever replace their loss.....Very sad situation...
  17. Insurance, you surely don't think they aren't fully covered ?....So what you're saying is , if it could potentially cost the team or league money, the penalty will be harsher than if they ran a dog killing contest or assaulted someone with a gun off field ?......Even though that violates their conduct policy and the law ?...And you don't think that's discriminating ????
  18. I've been observing it since the first SB, I think I got a handle on it....You keep missing the point and I've done everything but draw a picture for you....I know you are a pretty sharp dude, so I can't see how you keep flying over it....." I don't like the over aggressive treatment of one player and a passive one on another because of convenience for any team or the league itself" If you can't get that, then I don't know what else to tell you, except, you have your view and I have mine....
  19. So you would prefer an actual criminal on your team that has been known to shoot at people ,above a mere bully ???...Yes I understand very well that you are not getting the point.... As far as Martin, he used the same insults and was a partaker in the whole deal but because he forgot how to be a man and take care of his business, he went to snitching.....Not Cool....We still have to see who all will be disciplined for that debacle, I'm curious as to how serious they take bullying amongst grown men as compared to an actual violent death threatening criminal acts of another....That's the point.
  20. Navy's Will McKamey dies at Shock TraumaNavy freshman collapsed during practice Saturday in Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy March 25, 2014|By Don Markus, The Baltimore SunNavy football player Will McKamey died Tuesday night at Maryland Shock Trauma, three days after collapsing during a practice in Annapolis. McKamey, 19, never regained consciousness after undergoing surgery to relieve bleeding and swelling in his brain. http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2014-03-25/sports/bs-sp-navy-will-mckamey-0325-20140325_1_head-football-coach-family-saturday Heartbreaking tragedy , Much Prayers needed.....
  21. True, but I wasn't referring to playing just for us or considering anyone's team needs....Just should one be treated any differently than the other before they could play again, even though they both were multi violators.....One have to go through therapy and league wide ridicule and the other a slap on the wrist and told to behave himself......
  22. I thought they had cables already and have been blown over before....
  23. Well I know BG's opinion is consistent that he would, and Cravn's is consistent that he wouldn't......But do you and others feel the same about Richie Incognito as you do RM ?.....That is my question and point to be made....I personally think that both should be put on a probation time to see if they can stay out of trouble, we already know they can play the game....But not only them, Martin, Pouncey and Philbin should have to do the same, they were involved in the bullying also....
