  1. We have 10 picks already in 2015's draft.....Had 11 til we traded that 5th for Zutta....Ozzie could trade up if he really wants a certain player,or trade for a vet....He's is on a mission this year, I think because he wants 1 more SB before he hits the beach in his easy chair....You go Oz !!!!!
  2. Do you really think TS is a true #1 right now BG ?......a Megatron, Fitz, AJ or even Marshal ?....He has been our #1 since his first couple games, but I don't think he's there yet as compared to other #1's in the league....I do expect him to get there with the likes of Steve Smith around though....He's never worked with anyone at that caliber before...Q was always a #2....
  3. His real name is Ha'sean Clinton-Dix......HA HA is his nickname because he is a happy go lucky personality.. UPDATE: Alabama's Ha'sean Clinton-Dix enjoys return to home sweet Florida Alabama freshman safety Ha’sean Clinton-Dix has become the epitome of his nickname. The big-smiling, fun-loving, laughing-with-life kid from Eatonville has a charming, magnetic personality that has won people over his whole life. That’s why they call him Ha-Ha. http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2011-10-03/sports/os-recruiting-hasean-clinton-dix-returns-florida-alabama-20111001_1_florida-gators-gator-bait-ben-hill-griffin-stadium
  4. I'm not a college fan so I only know what I gather from news and stats, but this is not the first comparison to Ed that I've heard about him... What do you know about him ?
  5. Man , I'd feel good just knowing Ed was here....I know he ain't what he used to be and we have to move on, but he is a well of knowledge and could only be good for this team IMO....
  6. Baltimore Ravens' mock draft roundupApril, 2, 2014Apr 211:00AM ETBy Jamison Hensley | ESPN.comA look at what the national media is predicting for the Baltimore Ravens with the 17th overall pick: Don Banks, Sports Illustrated Posted: March 18 Pick: Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville Banks' comment: "Pryor plays the more physical game [than Ha Ha Clinton-Dix] and also has that Ed Reed-like quality of always being able to find the football. Even with the selection of safety Matt Elam in the first round last year, Pryor gives Baltimore a potential impact player in the defensive backfield, and helps offset the expected subtraction of free-agent safety James Ihedigbo." Bucky Brooks, NFL.com Posted: March 25 Pick: Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame Brooks' comment: "Gary Kubiak's arrival in Baltimore will change the core traits the Ravens' personnel department looks for in offensive linemen. Martin's athleticism, balance and technical skills are ideal fits for the Ravens' new zone-based blocking scheme." Charlie Campbell, Walter Football Posted: March 26 Pick: Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville Campbell's comment: "The Ravens spent last year's first-round pick on a safety, but they'll strongly consider doubling up if they can get Calvin Pryor. Darian Stewart is currently favored to start next to Matt Elam, and he was a Rams' cast-off. That should tell you how dire the situation is." Charles Davis, NFL.com Posted: March 18 Pick: Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina Davis' comment: "Not a need pick, but too talented to pass up if he lasts this long." Doug Farrar, Sports Illustrated Posted: April 1 Pick: Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville Farrar's comment: "What we do know is that the team wants to move 2013 first-rounder Matt Elam to strong safety, leaving it in the lurch when it comes to deep coverage. Pryor, who I actually like a bit better than Clinton-Dix, is physical in the run game and can handle everything from slot duty to center field. He’s not quite as fast as Earl Thomas, but he plays with a similar disregard for his own body -- and the bodies of his opponents." Daniel Jeremiah, NFL Network Posted: March 20 Pick: Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville Jeremiah's comment: "The Ravens took a safety in the first round last year, but they need another one after the departure of James Ihedigbo in free agency." Pat Kirwan, CBS Sports Posted: March 28 Pick: Ra'shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota Kirwan's comment: "The Ravens lost Arthur Jones in free agency and Haloti Ngata isn't getting any younger. It's hard to find 6-6 defensive linemen who can line up anywhere along the front." Ourlads' Scouting Service Posted: March 26 Pick: Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame Ourlads' comment: "The Ravens need help at center, guard and tackle. Martin fills one of the three positions. He projects inside from left tackle. He will get a chance to play on the edge first because he uses his hands well and is an efficient pass protector. Intense and focused. Good body control and balance." Pete Prisco, CBS Sports Posted: March 26 Pick: Ra'shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota Prisco's comment: "They lost Arthur Jones, so they take a bigger replacement." Rob Rang, CBS Sports Posted: April 1 Pick: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama Rang's comment: "The Ravens plan to shift last year's first round pick, Matt Elam, over from free safety to strong safety. Clinton-Dix boasts the range and ball-skills to complement him. The tandem would give the Ravens the formidable duo in the deep patrol to handle the explosive passing offenses of the AFC's powerhouses." Looks like Calvin Pryor is the fav pick....I like it, he is said to have the ballhawk ability like Ed and very physical...
  7. He did have his down moments, but he was a playmaker at crucial times....That's what I liked about him....I haven't seen that in Brown so far.
  8. You have a valid point, and I have no idea how well Graham played before we got him except that he was not a starter in Chi but did well when on the field....I'm still skeptical after all the time Brown has had to show it and failed.
  9. And that makes sense but the reason he was behind them is because he couldn't play well enough to pass them by.....He's had enough time to develop but just hasn't been able to get there....We'll see what happens this year, but I ain't looking for much out of him..
  10. True, but we do know Brown and he has been anything but consistent....I don't think Ozzie is gonna put a whole lot of trust in anyone that has played as sporadic as he has....But if we have to, I hope you're right....I don't expect it though.
  11. Come along little rodents.....Bwahahahahahahaha
  12. Yea but he has played equally bad at times too....Do you actually think he will be as solid as Graham or even close ?
  13. That one is even scarier.....But I'm pretty sure Ozzie has his eye on a top safety in the draft, hopefully he ain't banking on Stewart to carry the load.....We might not make it thru pre season with him...
  14. Shouldn't you be running errands for your bosom buddy ?
  15. Got me good....You guys got a good RB in Blount, I was hoping to get him...
  16. I realized it just about the time I figured out I got duped by the April fools gag....lol
  17. Looks like I have become your reason for living too....I thought you said you were done with this and going back to better posts ??? That would be a shock because you add nothing to any conversation I have ever seen, and I said nothing about the mods on here with the exception of you and your bosom buddy....It's you 2 that can't let it go, and both of your opinions are meaningless to me.....I'll just file you 2 in my mr insignificant file.....
  18. Chykie Brown Ready To Step Into No. 3 Cornerback Spot The former fifth-round draft pick is preparing to step up and have a big season in a contract year. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Chykie-Brown-Ready-To-Step-Into-No-3-Cornerback-Spot/ff2764fe-9d34-4139-a693-c55a6eedd654
  19. We've already been April fools this morning, and I walked right into it....LOL
  20. Why don't you produce all these bigoted posts you speak, little man ????.....And in case you forgot, feeble as you are at it, you are a mod.. But you are no task to handle, I was trying to prevent embarrassing you....But your mouth is a snare unto you.... Flash news, you do realize you are being a bigot right now don't you ?...
  21. Smurf, people who become multi millionaires don't do it by making poor biz decisions.....I certainly don't understand it, but then I suspect he may know something I don't know, that's why he is a very successful multi mill biz man and I am not.....Say Amen, if you know it's right !!
  22. Ravens top division in guaranteed moneyApril, 1, 2014Apr 110:30AM ETBy Jamison Hensley | ESPN.comRecommend0Tweet0Comments0EmailPrintThe Baltimore Ravens will find out in nine months if they've done enough in free agency to return to the playoffs. As for right now, all anybody knows is the Ravens haven't played it cheap. The Ravens have given out $53 million in guaranteed money in free agency so far, which easily tops the AFC North. The Cleveland Browns are the only team that's close at $43 million (if you include center Alex Mack's $10 million transition tag). The Pittsburgh Steelers have given $18.2 million in guaranteed money (if you include linebacker Jason Worilds' $9.75 million transition tag). The Cincinnati Bengals rank a distant last at $6.1 million. To put it in perspective, the Ravens gave offensive tackle Eugene Monroe more guaranteed money ($19 million) than what the Steelers have spent on all of their free agents. The most guaranteed money given by the Bengals this offseason is $4.4 million to defensive tackle Domata Peko. The Ravens have given more guaranteed money to four players. The Steelers have been limited in what they can spend because of very little salary cap space. They currently only have $1.1 million in cap room, the fewest in the league. The Bengals, though, still have the fourth-most cap room in the league at $24.8 million. Here's a breakdown on the guaranteed money given out by the Ravens in free agency: OT Eugene Monroe (re-signed): Five years, $37.5 million ($19 million guaranteed) TE Dennis Pitta (re-signed): Five years, $32 million ($16 million guaranteed) C Jeremy Zuttah (Buccaneers): Five years, $18 million ($6.5 million guaranteed) WR Jacoby Jones (re-signed): Four years, $12 million ($4.5 million guaranteed) MLB Daryl Smith (re-signed): Four years, $13.6 million ($3.5 million signing bonus) WR Steve Smith (Panthers): Three years, $11.5 million ($3.5 million guaranteed) SS Darian Stewart (Rams): One year, $1.3 million ($300,000 guaranteed) S Jeromy Miles (re-signed): One year, $795,000 ($35,000 guaranteed)
