  1. The Browns do not have the overall talent, experience and coaching that the Ravens have. Not this year. Ravens win this important road game.
  2. Have a swig of this....
  3. Bing predicts: 60% chance BAL wins ‧ 40% CLE win Got to stop this guy; Carlos Hyde has five rushing TDs this year, tied with Alvin Kamara for the most in the NFL. The only Brown with more through four team games of a season is Jim Brown, with nine in 1958 and six in 1963. It's not Mayfield who I'm worried about. It's Mayfield with a rushing attack. The Browns have the #23 passing offense. Key #1: Stop the run. The Browns have the #1 rushing attack in the NFL. Nobody's talking about that.
  4. Vinnie Cerrato is picking the Browns to win. That's why he's doing sports talk and not a GM. I don't want to pound on him too much because he does have some good insight and breaks things down well. And...this is one that they could lose if they come strolling in thinking the Browns will be a *** I'm stupid for thinking this game is easy ***. We know the Browns have improved bit by bit after having the 1st pick in the draft for the last 100 years. Even a monkey calling the picks would luck out and land some good players. Am I saying the Browns Front Office has been dumber than a monkey? Maybe. They needed a QB to start getting some wins and maybe Mayfield is that guy. I love his attitude and leadership qualities. He just might be around for a long time. Yet on Sunday???? He's not man handling the Ravens D. Team Stats ......................................Ravens...Browns Points Per Game................ 30.8..... 25.5 Points Allowed Per Game... 16.3 .....26.0 Total Yards ........................408.0... 392.3 Yards Passing ...................319.0... 239.5 Yards Rushing .....................89.0... 152.8 Yards Allowed .....................289.8... 412.8 Pass Yards Allowed ............207.3.... 296.0 Rush Yards Allowed .............82.5..... 116.8 A momentary word of caution; Don't feel sorry for Browns fans. Don't hope Mayfield is the second coming. They can't wait to come out of the woodwork and rub it in should they win. There's 26 years of shit backed up in their intestines...kind of like Elvis.....waiting to come out. Well...it's not happening Sunday.
  5. Video highlights. Check out Jefferson stripping the ball from McDonald and then Mosley laying him out. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000968810/Ravens-vs-Steelers-highlights-Week-4 And check out the post game locker room huddle. Heavy. https://www.baltimoreravens.com/video/john-harbaugh-s-postgame-speech-in-pittsburgh-old
  6. And yea.....let's throw in one more....they have a legit passing attack. Definitely a reverse trend.
  7. There is another new reverse trend.... The Ravens D is focused and learning how to finish.
  8. Here's Harbaugh's response.... This is something to hope for... He is a difference maker and the only RB on the roster who can get this running game going if the line learns to block.
  9. Usually, by this time of the season, it feels like the Ravens have 19 players on IR. This trend seems to be reversing. We have seem how deep this team is in talent as they have gone 3-1 without some very key players. That's a good sign too. This next quarter of the season they face the Browns, Titans, Saints and Panthers so having all hands on deck is huge. A split will have them at 5-3 with the bulk of their remaining games at home. Things are looking up!
  10. From our good friend Mike.... I'm drinking it. Right now....4 games in, the Ravens look as good as any team in the AFC. That means they have a fighting chance to win every game....which they won't. This also means that should they continue to get better this season and make the playoffs, then they will have a very good chance to do damage and perhaps go all the way. It's too early to tell based on a 4 game sample, but this is why it's called drinking purple kool aid.
  11. His body of work now says that you can't trust him. I love the guy. Love his intensity and attitude. He's a warrior. He provides a spark. Nevertheless....the Ravens are in the process of building a playoff contender and playoff caliber team by January. May you give him more chances and keep working on this issue and then by December make the call. I love Buck Allen too but he is not a game breaking RB.
  12. Morningweg and Martindale! They are starting to emerge. I wanted Marty's head after last season's putrid offense. Maybe all he needed was talent to work with. 11 different receivers with route combinations we've rarely seen. The short coming is the running game. He can't get this going yet. Wink really called a great game, His players were prepared and focused and...he made good adjustments to start the second half.
  13. i would not want to start him in the playoffs. What if this was the Ravens/Steelers playing for the AFC Championship? When Dixon comes back healthy does he become the #3?
  14. A second half shut out. Incomprehensible. That "was" the #2 scoring offense in the NFL. In a bitter rivalry. At home. With a lot on line line. They had to avoid starting the season 1-2-1. They could have made the Ravens 2-2 and leap leapfrogged them by being 2-1-1. First quarter of the season is now under wraps. RAVENS RISING!!!!
  15. I see your points. Joe was in a "zone" and why take him out and disrupt that. Why risk hurting Jackson? And so far, other than 1 TD run, no big plays have come of it. On the flip side, teams have to waste time game planning for Jackson. The big pro that I see in playing Jackson, especially early in the game, is how much it adds to the unpredictability of the offense and the many different looks that defenses get hit with mentally. That threw the Steelers off. When you look at how many weapons this offense has, this adds one more. That's a lot to account for. So far Joe has been handling this well. He's not complaining or pouting. This could happen if the Ravens suffer a close loss where Joe's competitive juices are flowing to where he wants to win so bad and thinks he can make that happen but instead his rhythm and focus are disrupted. It could happen.
  16. I liked seeing Jackson out there. I think it confused the Steelers defense giving them too much to think about...like sensory over load. USA Today is not so sure. Here's their interesting take...
  17. It was great to see that stadium empty out in the 4th quarter.
  18. This team is for real. Never saw such great offensive play calling from a Ravens team. Give the players credit for executing. They are working hard and Joe was not happy with all the points left on the field. He's focused and wants excellence. Lot of weapons on this team. And on defense? 2nd half shut out. Something like 50 yards! At Heinz field!? Without Jimmy Smith.
  19. Wait a minute. Rthlsxxbrrgrrr sucked in his first Super Bowl. The Stealers won despite him and with timely help from the Refs. 9 for 21 for 123 yards. 0 TD's and 2 INT's. 22.6 QBR
  20. Team Stats ...................................Ravens....Steelers Points Per Game............. 32.3.... 29.3 Points Allowed Per Game 17.0.... 30.0 Total Yards .....................391.0... 470.0 Yards Passing ................304.3... 380.0 Yards Rushing .................86.7..... 90.0 Yards Allowed................ 288.7..... 433.7 Pass Yards Allowed........ 185.0.... 311.3 Rush Yards Allowed........ 103.7.....122.3 I know that I'll be nervous as shit at kickoff Sunday night yet right now I'm feeling pretty good about the Ravens coming home with the win.
