Let this sink in. Read it slowly. The Ravens have the worst defense in the NFL giving up 458 yards per game. The Raven D is 25th in points surrendered at 25.7
They have worst passing defense in the NFL at 353.3 yards per game.

OH! The Bills are coming to town. With the #2 offense in yards per game. The #3 scoring offense at 30.3 points per game. The #1 defense at 214 yards per game. And the #4 defense in points surrendered at 12.7 per game.

Somehow the Ravens are getting 3 points and ESPN has the Ravens with a 54.2 win %.

I would.love to see them move Faelele to right tackle instead of Moses, if/when Merkari/Stanley come back. Dude has several pancake blocks and seemed to open up holes.

 Yet for now he has to play RT a position he did not play in college. here's some real leadership and "I got your back" from Lamar on Faalele:  "You know, [Daniel] Faalele is a rookie, so I knew that was kind of happen to see where he was, but I guess one sack happened after that, and he just started dominating like he did in college. I didn't doubt him at all. None of us did. It was for Pat [Mekari]. Mekari left it out of the field for us, and the linemen said it; we was all dialed in, and shout out to Faalele because he stepped up major."

Lamar has the highest rating amoung QB's in the NFL at 119. He's #2 in QBR. #1 in touchdowns. He's the #4 rusher in the NFL with 243 yards and a league high 9.3 yards per carry. #6 in rushing TD's.

He's also the only reason that this isn't a 7 win team.

  4. Lamar 18 for 29. 218 yards 4 TD's. 119.3 rating. 110 yards rushing 13.8 ypc. 1 TD.
Who had Lamar on their fantasy team?

Last week, the Ravens allowed four TDs in their fourth-quarter meltdown to Miami.

Today, the Baltimore defense has produced three turnovers in the fourth quarter.
    [4:03 PM]
Lamar Jackson is the 3rd player in NFL history to record four TD passes & 100 yards rushing in a single game.

He joins Cam Newton (2015) and Randall Cunningham (1990), per @ESPNStatsInfo.

Patrick Mekari will be fine, John Harbaugh said. Mekari is dealing with a sprained left ankle.

Is Dobbins ever playing again ? He’s a definite maybe every Sunday.  What up ?

    Good to see you va!

I think we see him Sunday. He's had 2 full weeks of practice. Hill should see more PT too.

Drake and Davis need to take a seat. It's not all on them. The blocking has been sub par.

  6. The negativity is for papa. He can't pass up an opportunity to bash this team and organization.

It's necessary to point out a team's shortcomings We all do it. How else can we focus on what the Ravens need to do to improve?

We have to know the Ravens weakness's when we look at match ups with their opponents. All teams have weaknesses in this age of Parity.

I have no problem with the topic on this posts and I agree with it 100%.

The missing in the draft stuff and blowing 2 1st's is unnecessary negativity to me. There were so many weaknesses and holes to fill this off season that it was not possible to address all of them adequately.

However, you still have to play the game with what you have....and win.

    Here's the whole picture:

They drafted Oweh the year Judon left (A pick they hit on...like Smith). Also Ngakoue and Ward left that year. They had to replace the entire outside LB position that year. Not Oweh's fault....and he will be good. Jaylon Ferguson dies. Yea...they are desperate. Houston and Oweh can't keep up with the snap counts they are getting and you can bet that on last Sundays hot afternoon they ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.

    • The Patriots are one of five teams Harbaugh doesn’t have a regular-season win against on the road. The other four are the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals.

    • The Ravens are averaging 28.3 points a game on the road since 2019, the third most in the NFL.

    • A week after leaving the Dolphins game early and entering the concussion protocol, wide receiver and All-Pro return man Devin Duvernay is expected to play Sunday barring a setback.

    • Harbaugh also said that rookie third-round defensive tackle Travis Jones, who hurt his knee late in the preseason, is healthy and could make his debut Sunday.

    • An interception Sunday for safety Marcus Williams would make him the first Raven to have an interception in three straight games since Cary Williams in 2012.

    • Judon is one sack away from 50 for his career.

    • Peters and Patriots safety Devin McCourty both have 31 interceptions, currently tied for the most among active players.

    • Cornerback Shaun Wade, who was drafted by the Ravens in the fifth round in 2021 and traded to the Patriots about four months later for two draft picks, has yet to see action for New England this year and played just three games last season.

    • Sunday’s game is the Patriots’ 2022 home opener. They’ve won 17 of their past 20 home openers at Gillette Stadium.

    • Ravens special teams coordinator Chris Horton and Patriots special teams ace Matthew Slater were once roommates at UCLA.First-and-10: Key matchups and subplots for Ravens-Patriots, plus a prediction - The Athletic

  8. They had a Super Bowl roster last year before the injuries. Thank You Eric.

It's a Super Bowl roster this year if they can survive waiting for their injured players to return.

It will be a Super Bowl roster next year no matter what they pay Lamar.

No matter how much you want to shit on this team they are so much fun to watch.

Yep, they have been whiffing on a lot of players over the past few years, especially at linebacker and edge rusher. Positions they normally would nail...

It's possible that Oweh and Ojabo will be the 2 best or in the top 3 pass rushing tandems next year.

He had surgery in February. Probably wasn't ready until now. He'll rotate in and give guys a rest. Yea he's old in football years coming off an injury. Pierce likes it.

  12. Here's a good article on Tucker....

    Quote

As he has done before every game and practice since college, Tucker will finish his warm-ups with a kick from the right hashmark, 48 yards out. It was from that exact distance 20 years ago that Tucker's idol, Adam Vinatieri, kicked a last-second field goal to lift the New England Patriots to their first Super Bowl victory, 20-17, over the St. Louis Rams.

"To me, this is one of the biggest kicks that's ever been, if not the biggest kick that's ever been made," Tucker told ESPN. "This [routine] just puts myself in that mindset, each and every day. How am I going to approach this kick and this moment when it arrives?

"That's one of the greatest parts of sports, seeing one guy propel his team to that winning moment."

Tucker's 91.1% accuracy on field goal attempts is the best in NFL history. And he's not only the most accurate, but he's also the best in high-pressure situations. He has converted 59 straight field goals in the fourth quarter -- including a 51-yarder Sunday in Miami -- and overtime, which is the longest active streak in the league. That includes an NFL-record 66-yarder last season in the closing moments of a 19-17 win in Detroit.....How the Baltimore Ravens' Justin Tucker became one of the NFL's all-time greatest kickers (espn.com)

"Hopefully, we'll just have a balanced offense and not just a heavy run and sometimes throw or heavy throwing and sometimes run – just keep it balanced," Jackson said Wednesday. "And I feel like the sky is the limit for us."

Imagine Lamar Jackson will be asked about this during his press availability after practice, but he was wearing a sleeve on his right arm and he didn't seem to be doing his usual amount of throwing early in practice. Media, however, can only watch a small portion of practice.

The Ravens are in a logjam with a 1-1 record.

There are 19 teams who are currently 1-1, which are the second-most in NFL history, according to @ESPNStatsInfo. In 2012, there were 20 teams who started 1-1.

Lamar Jackson through Week 2 of the 2022 season - No. 1 in Touchdown Percentage (10.2%) - No. 1 in Yards per Completion (14.0) - No. 1 in Net Yards Gained per Attempt (8.67) - No. 2 in Yards per Attempt (9.0) - No. 3 in Passer Rating (120.1) - No. 4 in QBR (76.5)

The failure can primarily be ascribed to secondary breakdowns, but a lack of pressure and inability to get coverage contributions from ILB also played a role.  Another portion of this can be blamed on injuries at CB, including the return of Peters.  However, this team is built with safety depth to play best in exactly these sorts of situations.  Stated otherwise, this is not a case of an opponent finding the Ravens weakness, it’s a matter of beating their strength.

The only tonic, aside from a return to health, is for these same players to get better at doing the things they just failed at.
