Agree on Boulware and Boldin should be in. The Ravens have a ton of players that were really good but not HOF material. Jamal Lewis, Stover, McCrary. Goose. Heap, McAlister, Jermaine Lewis, Priest Holmes ,

Good deal. Nothing to lose. He was starting to have a breakout year until the injury. He's another one of those players who could make an impact.... (b) IF 9/b).... he can stay healthy. At the least this really helps the D line depth and rotation. I'll be rooting for him but not counting on him.

It is unfathomable. This has been going on for years and should have been easily corrected years ago. On the positive side: it does look like they got rid of the 3rd down outlet pass to the back in the flat, where Joe looks at the back, waits, looks a little longer at the back, waits until the defense gets a full running start towards him and then throws it a little behind him and finally, Joe watches as his teammate gets wiped out while struggling to catch the ball. Punt!

Joe Flacco did not have a good year. you can check his stats The Ravens offense was 27th in terms of yards and moving the ball. Yet they were 9th in scoring. 9th. And the defense was 6th in fewest points surrendered. That one little nugget has me thinking that there is something they can build on.

Like a pitch count, I'm sure there's an optimum number of reps for an NFL player before he wears down during the season. I'm sure it varies between aging vets, rookies and players in their prime. I hope the Ravens know this.

I'm getting prepared now. I will not get excited about anybody or any unit. You know how it goes. Before training camp they look decent on paper. As a fan, I thought the Eagles/Pats was a good matchup. I thought it would draw viewers. The drop in attendance at games and viewership is one of the big stories in the NFL for last season. I'm sure the owners are worried and wondering what to do.

This explains a big part of the problem but it does not excuse Ozzie. He should have been aware of the drain and drop off of talent in the scouting department and been pro-active. That's a fail.

Any Ravens fan would know what questions were coming. So are you saying he sat there and lied? Do you think he isn't committed to winning and putting a great product on the field?
