  1. Chow Time! They have to run it. Everybody is saying they can't. The Ravens don't know that they can't.
  2. I agree....
  3. Ahhhh.... Back from the dead! Here...let me put up some excuses for you....
  4. Found another one "Oh Ye of little faith!"
  5. This gives information on how this affects us here in the USA.... The scary part is this is not linear change. It's exponential.
  6. Damn I hope this is true and happens Sunday. One can dream....
  7. I found somebody who's picking the Ravens. It took some serious work searching but...
  8. Remember 2008...I think... The Ravens played Pittsburgh in the conference championship and lost. Polamalu jumped over the line from Flacco's blindside and caused a sack or fumble???? That is the kind of play the Steelers are going to bring to this game to snap their losing streak against the Ravens. I don't know if they have the talent to pull it off but the Ravens weak link is the O line. Run blitz, pass blitz and It will give iin. The Steelers are not that awesome. All they could get isv a ton of field goals Sunday. The Ravens need to bring 60 minutes of this and they walk away with the win...
  9. The Ravens are 5 point Underdogs. yea OTR....Not having Jimmy Smith is scary.
  10. However the Ravens AND THE STEELERS stumbled into this position to be playing for the AFC North Championship...doesn't matter. Both kept stumbling and fell forward to this point. Both Teams. Both teams are flawed. The Ravens winning the last 4 straight games and 6 out of the last 7? Doesn't matter. Well...this season's win matters...a lot, but you get the point. One team will find a way to win. One will find a way to lose. I've been looking at the last few games and at Sunday's game trying to see what the Ravens can bring to Pittsburgh to be competitive and possibly win. I see enough that think the Ravens have a good shot at climbing this mountain.... if they can match the Steelers intensity and stay composed. There are enough pieces to win on the table, in place and developing, but they have to work in tandem. They can pass. The weapons are there and chomping at the bit. They ran Sunday. Special Teams is very good. The defense has been steady and good most of the season. They are healthy. Oh...they are really good at committing penalties.Almost league leaders. They still make stupid mistakes and lose focus at times. And there are the inexplicable brain farts like Sunday. And so it is....Ravens/Steelers Week...as we chew our nails and pull our hair out.
  11. You are so wrong. Where do I begin?
  12. BTW...the Ravens won this game and they were basically in control all the way. Then Mornhinweg, Harbaugh and Flacco have a fundamental brain fart so instead of at least getting 3 points, running another 2 minutes off the clock and all of us sitting here going "Rah Rah!" ... .....We are among the multitudinous downtrodden lot of NFL fans who walk this earth at this time of year. Yes...the defense got run over. That's a concern.
  13. He's Ozzies insurance against poor coaching and play calling.
  14. He's not just good. He's outstanding. Difference in a game the Ravens tried to give away. and...he continues to work hard at making this a better world to live in...
  15. What I am seeing is how far short they are from being a legit playoff contender. It's not that far. They could become one by next season. I'm hoping....it's a faint hope....that they can make the playoffs this year, so that the players can have that extra game or two to gain valuable insight and experience and grow. It will serve them well next year. Even now, with this upcoming slate of final games there is that "one and done" sense of urgency which, although not desirable, is beneficial for growth and development. It's called stress. Stress, handled properly, builds and develops. It helps people grow and achieve more than they thought they were capable of doing. It builds confidence. Yea....you can crack under it too.
  16. They did ok without Smith in the second half. Tavon Young only surrendered 16 yards...the whole game! The big pass play TD was on Weddle. It will be tough from here on out without Smith, but it's not the end of the world.
  17. Too much on the line this time of year. Try Reynolds next year....in pre season.
  18. Campanaro. What a waste Hester was.
  19. Harbaugh keeps this Team focused on getting better each week. And they have, but as Ron Fritz points out...it's not enough.... You can add a whole lot more to Ron's list. Let's have at it.
  20. The Ravens are still in the Hunt and very much alive. Yes....the Ravens have weaknesses but It's still all about parity in the NFL. Every team has similar weaknesses. The Ravens played a very good team with the greatest QB who was on fire....and almost pulled it off. No shame there. Now....it's time to take the hurt of this loss out on the final 3 teams they face. They can do it.
  21. Yea. Their" no names" beat our "no names and big names."
  22. hey...I was thinking the same thing. Only 4 runs in the first half. Dixon gave his all when he had the chance. No runs meant the #1 defense was on the field all night....which lead to giving up 498 yards of offense.
  23. The Ravens are back to being a 1 half team. And....they got out coached.
  24. Where was Weddle? Elam blows it.
