“Patrick Ricard, the Ravens' Pro Bowl fullback, lined up at tight end on 50.6% of his snaps (301 of 594) last season. It makes sense that he would look to get paid more as a tight end in free agency.”

He wants around $6.5 mil a year. Boyle TE money. He now becomes a luxury. Maybe Phillips can take over Ricards spot? :fishin: You have to watch this in full screen mode.

Perthaps this is why the Ravens were not interested in Mack.

A dark horse pick for the Ravens?

Two Pass Rushers Who Could Be a Dark Horse Pick for Ravens
If the Ravens opt for a pass rusher in in the first round, Jermaine Johnson II of Florida State and George Karlaftis of Purdue are two possibilities.

  2. It looks like 6 players for 1.

Wentz to the Washington CommodesHospital Commode  shocks me. Colts let him go after 1 season. He had a decent season. He had 400+ yards against the Ravens with 128 rating. Maybe the loss to the Jags in their last game of the season that kept them out of the playoffs was the kicker.

  3. It's thinning out.....getting ready for 3/16....free agency.

Baltimore extended tenders to the following six players:

    C Trystan Colon
    QB Tyler Huntley
    LS Nick Moore
    S Geno Stone
    LB Kristian Welch
    RB Ty'Son Williams

It looks like the Ravens CAP situation went from $9 mil this morning to $17 mil tonight with the release of Young and Villanueva's retirement.

    Kevon Seymour: 7 career starts
    Kevin Toliver: 2 starts

  4. I don't want to raise a false hope, yet it looks like the Ukrainians are winning. The cost is horrible yet they endure.

"We never wanted this war, but it was brought to us," Zelensky said in an impassioned speech posted to his Facebook page. "We never dreamed of killing, but we have to knock out the enemy — from our land and from our lives."

He added, "We have to endure what no other European nation has seen in 80 years. And it is on our land that it is decided whether someone else in Europe will fall victim to the same aggression."

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early hours of February 24, and Zelensky said that in recent days, "The enemy is tired. Demoralized."

"They came to our land to look for something that has never been here: cowardice, consent to slavery," Zelensky said.

The former-comedian-turned-wartime-leader said that Ukraine will take "victory" in the war with Russia.

"The government of Ukraine is already working on how to restore our state after the victory," he said.

And he announced that a "special" economic tax break package has already been created to aid Ukrainian businesses and employees amid the war with Russia.

"We and terror are different universes," Zelensky said. "That is why there is no blood on our flag."

"There are no and will never be black spots on it," he said. "There are no and will never be any swastikas on it. The Ukrainian flag is the land. Peaceful, fertile, golden and without tanks. This is the sky. Peaceful, clear, blue and without missiles. So it was. And so it will be." Zelensky says Russian forces are 'tired' and 'demoralized' as he spoke about the future of Ukraine after its 'victory' in war (msn.com)

The SOTU was energizing enough, but Biden looks so old and tired.

Yes. He is old and tired, but he is not defeated. He is running at an amazing pace every day, non-stop. It would put most people to shame. And he's never had a problem calling Putin out. Even to his face. There is a ton of fight left in Joe. He knows he can die any minute at the pace he's going. He never expected to live out his term. He loves our country and democracy. He could have retired. Faded off into the sunset. Look at how hard he has run the last 2+ years.

    Nice shot!

  6. Any fans who want to trade or let Lamar go (papa) need to watch what the Steelers are about to experience in trying to find a QB who can lead them to the playoffs.  How many will they go through until they find their guy? How many seasons?

I don't want to go through that as a Ravens fan. I like winning. I like offense. I like exciting football.

  7. Russia's in over their head....

“We’re not going anywhere. I was born in Kyiv and I will die here,” said Valeria Voytenko, a 23-year-old post-office worker whose husband is fighting on the front lines of Kharkiv.

“If they had given us weapons, I would also go shoot them up and defend my home,” chimed in her friend Yana Kamun, a 20-year-old manicurist. “We will fight to the last one. And we have faith that Ukraine will win.”.........Kyiv and Moscow Hold Talks as Ukrainian Troops Repel Russian Attacks (msn.com)

  8. It looks like a critical moment in time for the Ravens organization. The is Lamar contract to get done. They can ace this Free Agency and Draft and continue to be a perennial playoff contender or regress.

Age, injuries, and players not developing as fast as hoped has opened up a lot of team weaknesses or areas that need to be strengthened. O'line, D' line, edge rusher, ILB's, CB's ....yea...there is need at a lot of positions. Last season showed they have depth yet it was not good enough or deep enough to win in the second half of the season. Some of these depth players like Stephens show promise.

  9. papa please play GM for the Commanders.

It's time to admit that Queen has been a disappointment. FYI: Queen was 44th in total tackles. 35th in solo tackles. 169th in sacks with 2, 0 INT's. 1 FF 81st in NFL. I mean he don't make off the bench on most Ravens rosters of the past.

Here's why the Ravens need to draft a CB and not just a body in the later rounds who can fill in...."In just a dozen games, Humphrey was targeted 84 times and gave up career highs in receiving yards (665), yards per target (7.9), yards per completion (14.8), touchdowns (6), and an opposing passer rating of (98.6) on just 45 completions." Marlon was probably distracted covering for others yet the numbers are not good. I like Averett but not as a starter. Not against the great QB's and receivers the Ravens will face. Peters will be 30 coming off an injury...........I'm really thinking #14 pick must be a CB to get a solid starter. I would be fine with BPA, a DT, OT. or pass rusher at 14 too.

  10. Inspiring....He knows that he is going to die....and maybe his family....

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has turned down an offer from the United States of evacuation from the capital city Kyiv, the Ukraine embassy in Britain said Saturday on Twitter.

"The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride," Zelensky told the US, according to the embassy.
"Ukrainians are proud of their President," the tweet adds.
In a video posted on Saturday morning entitled "do not believe the fakes," Zelensky revealed that he is still in Kyiv.
"I am here. We are not putting down arms. We will be defending our country, because our weapon is truth, and our truth is that this is our land, our country, our children, and we will defend all of this," he said.
"That is it. That's all I wanted to tell you. Glory to Ukraine," he added........Zelensky defiant: Ukrainian president refuses US offer to evacuate, saying 'I need ammunition, not a ride' - CNN
