As for Alabama...only 5 Alabama players have been drafted by the Ravens in their 19 year history. Ozzie didn't do too bad with Jarrett Johnson and Mosley. Leron McClain was good too.

It wasn't a fluke. They ran a gauntlet against the NFL's best and came out on top. They earned it. They are in the NFL history books now and it can't be taken away.

It's actually sad. I'm a rabid fan....getting worn down. Yea...I can see the writing on the wall. I gave up my Orioles seasson tickets years ago safter watching players hit .200 who couldn't field a ball yet to be rewarded with a $5 mil a year contract. $50 for 3 hot dogs, 3 sodas and 3 fries...plus the ticket prices....I felt like one big sucker. And sports coverage has changed to "Days of our lives" focusing on off the field issues, lifestyles an anything not PC. They hang around like vultures waiting for a football player to make a verbal mistake and then crucify them. Throw in the wife beatings, drugs, dog killings ect....way too much money being made on stuff off the field. It's one huge distraction. I go to watch the game. Fuck all this video, game day enhancement stuff to try and make me feel warm and cozy. Give me football.

NFL Game Pass is the way to go and I love Redzone. It's highly important to me to watch the Ravens "live" and I love going to home games. Then I'll watch Game pass...love the coaches video too. I will not watch any night games and I hate Thursday night games and I really do not like going to night games and crawling into work with no sleep. Parity, watered down football and football with no defense is creating the beginning of the end for me. Expansion will probably end my willingness to pay so much money to go to games and follow this sport. I won't be a sucker making below average joes millionaires. Every team will end up with secondaries like the Ravens...only these guys will be filthy rich. Count me out when that day comes.

The success of most head coaches in the NFL is tied to their QB. It's not Billick/Boller or Harbaugh/Flacco....it's all of them. Look at the successful HC's...then look who the QB is. There are exceptions, but they are few.

Until Jimmy Smith comes back 100% healthy and Webb is 100% back to his old self, this current Ravens secondary is the worst in the history of this organization. Not one on the field intelligent leader to QB and get these guys into the right position. Even if they are in the right position, they can't make a play. But...they are great Witnesses. They do an excellent job watching receivers run past them. They run after them and are the first to greet them in the end zone. They are so dumb that they wore Mean Joe Green T shirts under their jerseys last night. For real! The Ravens can't hope to be more than a .500 team with the current secondary. This group in the secondary should not be in the NFL. Remember the days when 23 points was more than enough for a guaranteed win? Gone With the Wind. 35 isn't enough now. The O line must be fixed. 6 men could not block 5. Part of that is on Kubiak for not running. They ran 18 times...threw 45...perfect Ravens formula for a loss. Joe is hot and cold for sure. But given time...like the playoff run....and he can waste a defense. Good QB's look great with good pass protection. They look average and mistake prone without it. And yes....for the passing game to work, explosive, play making and reliable pass catching receivers are needed. Campanaro was on his way there. Steve Smith is there. Torrey can't run routes and the rest are too slow. It's an average team in today's NFL.

There's big money to be made in religion. It's competitive trying to be the top mini$ter and so they become entertainers.

Other than the first Ravens scoring drive the offense has sucked.
