  1. 38-24...I spoke too soon.
  2. Remember the KC lines of the 90's? Maulers. Davis is running well with Charles out and Smith looks like Joe did in last years playoffs. 38-10...Colts are done.
  3. Toothless Bones Dupree. How flattering!
  4. Could we get that lucky?
  5. Hensley has some... Just get the nastiest, smartest guy on that list. Build the Lines! No more getting pushed around!
  6. They could have had a team pre '76 but in all their wisdom the Rooneys cut Johnny U. Oh well.
  7. Looking ahead to 2014...as fans we have a lot to follow. Will the slide continue or will they stop the bleeding? Can they identify the key core players needed to build a playoff caliber team again? Will they be able to keep them? Can they draft and develop players to enhance this core? Can they selectively add some upgrades through free agency? Can the assemble a better coaching staff or is the present staff adequate?
  8. You have to understand crav that there was no Steeler bandwagon in '58, '59' and '70 because the Steelers might as well have not been in the NFL with the decades old losing record that they had. So todays Steeler fan did not watch or follow the NFL back then....hence the amnesia.
  9. I agree. This franchise is starting all over again. They have to become a .500 team, then a team with a winning record. They have to win at home and go at least .500 on the road. They have to learn how to win divisional games. They have to learn how to hang with and defeat playoff caliber teams. They have to learn how to find ways to win. They have to becomes "Ravens" again.
  10. They better bring him back. He's a Raven. They need his on field attitude that he's going to make the play...that he's going to do damage....that he's going to dominate and help his team win.

It's all relative when you look at market value. In Free Agency players are looking to sign with the team who will play them the highest amount in the FA market. So even if you up the CAP $50 mill, some team will pay ridiculous money for Arthur Jones, Paul Kruger, Ellerbe ect. For a solid/franchise QB the price will remain ridiculous (and of course, negatively impact the money available to retain good players ). So...CAP jail will always exist and many teams will dwell there. I propose a CAP freeze and use the savings on the fans in reduced ticket prices, parking, concessions and merchandise. What do you think are my odds of the NFL granting this request?
  12. Yes! That and a shoddy product that is the result of parity.
  13. "Plenty of people suffer from one form of compulsive behavior or another. There's compulsive shopping, hoarding, eating, gambling, or even pulling one's hair out. And, of course, there is garden variety obsessive compulsiveness. When a person has a compulsion, he is trapped in a pattern of repetitive and senseless thinking–and these behaviors can prove quite difficult to overcome."
  14. Are you friggn'n kidding me? They can't sell out a playoff game? This is a serious problem for the NFL.
  15. "I see 16-0."
  16. Watch football till your eyes bleed!
  17. "I find this to be an excellent example on how to properly express your feelings."
  18. The Ravens have leaders but they can only lead this team to .500 ball. What they really need is leaders who demand winning. You have to make plays to be a leader. You have to be consistent with an attitude and work ethic that rubs off on those around you. You have to believe in and be passionate about what you do. You have to be able to communicate. I don't see anybody like that on this years roster.
  19. He doesn't know that he's the one common denominator. "Let's use our speech decoder from page 26 of our posters manual to read what he's really saying.... ""Redskins fans deserve a better result,But Damn! I'm so lucky they are morons!" owner Dan Snyder said in a statement released by the team. "We thank Mike for being the "Fall Guy" and you won't hear any shit out of him as long as he wants to keep collecting his severance pay. It felt so friggn'n good to scalp him and count coup! We will focus on what it takes to build a winning team later, after I count this year's takings. My pledge to this organization and to this community is to continue to make all the wrong decisions on getting the resources and talent necessary to put this team back in the playoffs. Now leave me along to drink my firewater and count my wampum."
  20. This year the Ravens never "got better". Sorry John. And Ozzie. Mike nails it in his column.... I can't identify a solid core to build upon. In the past, at least the Ravens had a good defense.
  21. 8 Gold Gloves...he was a great ball player. The teams he was on played great defense and made it look easy.
  22. If the Bengals win and get home field advantage will they still have trouble selling out?
  23. One thing the Ravens have going for them this week is that they won't be out coached.
