They looked very good last night and by Monday, they might be in sole possession of 1st place.
-
It could be 20-30 years before they have a decent team.

I love picking up Monroe....great move. Considering where the Ravens draft they will never draft a guy this good at LT. Brilliant. As for Bajama....he gives his all which works out to being a very low tier TE.
-
I think we'll see him play this year. That may not happen until late in the season, but if the Ravens are in the hunt, then Pita would be a great boost.

Ravens will need to play pizzed off this week.
vmax replied to Tornado700's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Execute, cut down on the penalties and no turn overs and the Ravens win. -
Agree Colin...I like Ray's comment. Maybe they will wake up now and realize that they are getting everybody's best shot this year and they have to match that intensity.

Joe isn't the problem the line gives him no time at all and his receivers are horrible not just bad but horrible. I don't know many qbs who could win with no running game, TE's and WR.. I'm just saying the Ravens are paying a qb top dollar and left him nothing to work with. 27TH IN QBR 27TH DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH THAT MAKES SENSE. You are paying a guy that much money but give him no help so he's 5 spots from the bottom in qbr and 7 from the bottom in completion percentage after he did what only Joe Montana has done in the playoffs last year. I see how useguys can just be fine with that when you factor in the poor Oline performance, no TE's, no running game and only 1 receiver who catches the ball.

Stay soft one more week.

MD broke into the top 25 this week. I saw FL ST. We might be in over our heads.
-
I don't see the Ravens winning on the road they way that they are playing.

Yea Torry! Everything that he's said and done tells me that he's a high character man.

That's what I told her!

"This could get him on the Hot Seat!"

Dickson has lost all confidence....which is a career ender in the NFL. BUT!>>>>>>> .........As the Patron Saint of Lost Causes!.... I will support Ed Dickson! He will over come this and shine. He will be a young American success story of one man overcoming adversity and public scorn...to rise from the ashes and leap into our hearts and minds forever!

Finally? Like this is the first time he's answered truthfully when asked by a reporter to comment on a certain player or unit? Like we are witnessing history? ALL HC's hide the truth. Just like you would if we were playing Texas Hold'm and you just went all in holding a pair of duce's. Like you would tell me your hand. Right. To answer your question....I'm cool with it because he didn't tell me anything that I and the rest of the NFL doesn't know.

Within 10 years...that's not a long time...nobody will be able to afford to fly. cleetz...nice post. Yea...sadly...I don't expect our politicians to take action until New York, Florida and parts of Washington DC are under water. It will be too late then. China can't get out of this one. They are under attack too. Their water supply will...evaporate. They could be the next Sahara desert along with a huge part of the USA. Billions of people will be displaced and all the world economies will fail...during our children's lifetime. Our banks and insurance companies will crack under disaster relief efforts for our sea coasts. Then the government goes. You fill in the blanks. So...the hardships that we all will endure today are only 10% of what they will be tomorrow. Yes...I'm an optimist. The projected scenario does not have to be so severe if action is taken now. Obviously I don't know how much money the solution to global warming would cost. That's why I thought the best solution would be for the world to pool their resources to solve a world problem. I'm sure governments are looking into that. They have to be...right? They friggn'n know the truth...I'm certain of that. Local goverments are already looking into saving Ocean City, Miami Beach and NYC. They are using scientific projections. It's funny if it weren't so sad...they want to build walls to keep the water out, throw more soil on the ground as the water table rises, put buildings on stilts rather than solve what is causing the problem to begin with. All that is wasted money. Band aids for massive hemorrhaging.

Add Gradkowsky to that. He was getting bullied and Yanda and Osemele had to over compensate so every thing was out of wack. This too........

I moved a couple that got high jacked and just turned into meaningless, childish character assassination. Warning to all...I got no time for posters to troll and attack each other. Thread high jacking will stop too. The Ravens board will not turn into the ESPN message board. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. All who want that will get shut off. If you want to talk smack then use the smack forum. If you want to talk about a team other than the Ravens, then post your thread on the NFL board...everybody will see it. Game week....if the Ravens play your team, then you can talk about your team on the Ravens board....Tuesday through the following Monday. We're going to talk football here and have fun.

OMG! After seeing todays new "Ugly" can you imagine how UGLY the Steeler game will be!
-
It started with the O line. They stunk. Couldn't run block so the running game was totally stopped. Couldn't pass protect and they committed penalties. Receivers couldn't catch. Then Joe decided to join in and really suck. I think Joe felt like Buffalo was a nice place to have his worst game of his career. The defense hung tuff and then they decided to let the Bills run rampant on them. Some coverage break downs as well. The coaches did not have this team prepared. It's the Ravens annual "Let's make a bad team look great" game. They needed to turn the ball over 5 times to make sure Buffalo won. The last thing I saw was the Ravens bus going over Niagara Falls. Fortunately for Joe, the team left him behind at the stadium...

LOL...Fox was just showing highlights of all the games and they didn't bother to show the Ravens game....it was that bad. They just said "this game was a shocker and Flacco threw 5 INT's...nuff said." Bad day at the office...

The Aftermath of game day.... Will somebody please clean up the damn kitchen!

Identify your solid core of players that you can build a team from and let the rest lose their jobs to competition. There are enough good players on the Steelers roster to build upon. Take your lumps while you rebuild. I think the team has turned a deaf ear to Tomlin. His act got old. Not drafting well enough the last few years to replace aging players and fill holes (like the O line and RB) is what is showing now,. Also, like the Ravens, all the winning years come with a price....you draft late so you better hit.
