I searched through the Indianapolis Star to find out if they Indy Colts did anything to honor Art Donovan. Nothing. Not even an article. Nothing on the Franchises NFL website. And no support for the family. On the other hand, our Baltimore Ravens.... They may not even know that he passed away.

I haven't heard a thing and I'm just as interested as you in finding out what's up.

The depth looks great except at TE. The Ravens are really hurting there. Yet Ozzie has once again assembled a roster full of "Ravens" type players. All units, all phases knocked the snot out of their opponents. This team will be fast and physical. Tyrod Taylor finally had a good game and for the first time looked like an NFL QB. I am very worried about the WR situation. The loss of Pita and Boldin is looming really large. Joe really has no go to guy other than Ray Rice. when Vonte Leach is your main target something's wrong. Playing good against the 2's and 3's doesn't count. It was nice to see Williams and Mellette make great catches and plays but let's see them do that against 1's because somebody....2or 3 guys have to bail Joe out, make plays and be consistently reliable. Special Teams look hungry last night. Yea...Daryl Smith was impressive.

Amen! Darryl Smith is standing out in camp. I want to see Brandon Williams, Canty, Dumervil, Omar Brown (31), Brown, (59), the receiver battle, center battle...hell...I want to see it all. I love watching everybody and trying to see "who wants it more". Who will be the next undrafted rookie to show he belongs and is a playmaker. There are 2-3 on this roster at the moment. We all know this is basically a scrimmage to evaluate players. It's not really a game. Based on the past, we will not see a hint of the Ravens offense and defense until opening day. So WTF are they going to do? Block, tackle, throw, catch, run.

The addition of Joe would turn a lot of teams into playoff teams. His loss to Baltimore would mean years of not making the playoffs. If the Cowboys or Houston got him they'd be Super Bowl favorites. Joe can do what their QB's can't...win in the playoffs. If Miami gets him they win the division. They'd pay anything for Joe. Chicago...playoffs! The Bucs would rise from the ashes. Same for the Bills. Need I say Browns....they might make a wild card but definitely be the best team in the North if they got some receivers for Joe next year. What do you pay for that? He could take the Bengals to the Super Bowl. What do you pay for that? KC...wow.... Jets and Philly...problems solved. How about the Vikings? Joe and Adrian....

About 20 teams would give their left nut for Joe.

It's good to get some information on Shipley and Spears. I feel better about the center position and figured Spears was average because I've heard very little about him. It looks like Spears will be in the run rotation...giving players a rest. There's 4 pre season games to play so the cream will rise to the top. I'm not worried about Elam. Ihedibo has experience and he has developed well. Communication and knowing the defense and the offenses of the NFL is a must at safety. Elam has a lot to learn.
