  1. I do not want to get near the Baltimore City line. I don't feel safe anywhere in Baltimore. People have just gone insane off the deep end.
  2. I thought Bell would be good. You guys are snake bit.
  3. There's about a $4 mil cap savings too. Enough Indy players.
  4. Well...Jimmy made Crabtree, Jim Harbaugh and Kaepernick look stupid. I'll give him a pass for now.
  5. Yea....great point. These are Caldwell's guys. He knows what they can do and how to use them.
  6. I have expectations even though this is a pre season exhibition. After the lousy performance last week at home, I expect the Ravens to knock the snot out of the Panthers. In fact....they better play like their hair's on fire after hurting my eyes and brain last week.
  7. I'm glad you like it but I'm waiting to see it... Now...I'd be shocked if this unit isn't very good. They could be great if they solve their communication and assignment issues. Memo to Jimmy from Preston... "You will not suck in front of our fans!!!"
  8. They are starting to drop off... I'm liking the Chiefs too.
  9. Preston likes both of them....
  10. He really does care. He called Ed Reed, Kruger, Ellerbe etc. as they were picked up by other teams and congratulated them for advancing in this business. He was happy for them and truly wished them well....unlike crav....
  11. My feeling is Clark. The Ravens are thin at TE so he should see more PT.
  12. I'm not going to get mad at the O's. They have enough on their plate battling to make the playoffs.
  13. The running game averaged 3.5 yards per carry last night. The worst rushing team in the NFL...the Cardinals.... averaged 3.4 last year.
  14. Eisenberg is making excuses here. Yes it's the truth and "Yes" Joe has to make it work regardless. It's true. It's also true that a big part of Joe's great playoff run was because,e over time, he had established an excellent playing rapport with all of his supporting cast. He had hit that "Intuitive Zone" great QB's and receivers hit when they have been playing together for a decent period of time. Just a thought or a look and they knew what the other was thinking and going to do. That takes a lot of time and practice....and talent. I don't want to blame Joe in any way, shape or form if the Ravens offense falters. Truly it take 11 men working in tandem to be productive. I am saying he can and must find a way to move the chains with whoever lines up. That's his job. Hard as it may seem. Unfair as it may seem. Joe has done this before. He did it before he had Pitta and Boldin. He can do it again. Agreed. He's not Brady.....but I'm not letting him off the hook because of that. He's Joe Flacco and Joe's next level of growth is to make guys like Furstenberg produce like Sudfield.
  15. The Browns win this title hands down. It is excruciating torture to follow and watch them year after year....to be starting your mock drafts in October....but they actually have a fan base. This also might be indicative of an unobserved rise in the percentage of the population who hate themselves and want to suffer. The Bengals belong around #26. they can't sell out their stadium. This is a real "for shit" poll.
  16. Were the pockets cut out?
  17. The current situation doesn't matter. Joe has to do this.... The point is Sudfield is no better than Furstenberg. Most of Brady's receivers are not better than Joe's. Brady makes it work....5,000 yards worth year after year. Joe has to do the same. There really is no excuse.
  18. yea....where were their hands?
  19. Here's how you handle it Asa: Don't do it again and hurt your team mates and the Ravens organization who have invested a lot of time and money in you and have got nothing in return. You got your money. It's time to earn it.
  20. The Ravens did not look good in the last 2 pre seasons yet opening day they lite up the Steelers and Bengals.
  21. The stadium is definitely improved. More TV's, radio in the restrooms, purple lighting on the columns, the concession and storefronts are redone and look very nice thanks to all the money that they rip off us....you know....we paid for that. Finally they showed scores and not 587 fantasy football stats. The Ravenswalk is upgraded a little. Honestly....it is a great fan experience. My daughter loved it. It's one hellova' party. Oh...no trouble using my cell phone, email and texting. There is still that feeling of sitting inside the Yellow Pages with the video Add's circling the stadium but the lighting in not that offensive. The big screen remains awesome....lot's of replays. Now.....there's the 2000 Super Bowl banner and next to it is a banner covering something. I wonder what that is?
  22. Thanks for that info Tornado. I feel better about this situation.
  23. The Ravens are one hamstring injury to Tory Smith away from having no receivers for Joe to throw to. It looked like the team had "no legs"....they were running on flat tires. I've seen enough of Shipley. Jimmy Smith was lost. There were no running lanes. The secondary missed assignment after assignment. Huff was out of position time and time again. Brandon Williams impressed me. Hamilton has speed but he can't tackle. Mellette is a gamer. LaQuan tried too hard to make plays so he made mistakes. Real....real sloppy football. The best part of the game was the Pee Wee scrimmage at half time. OH...I got chills when they introduced the Ravens and for the first time Ray Lewis didn't come out of the tunnel. It's as new era but we yelled "Joe!" when he was the last player to be introduced. It felt right. And...I'm not in game shape. I lost my voice right away. Just the yelling when they came out of the tunnel killed it. Now I have to yell at the kids all weekend to develop it.
  24. I have other photos of the stadium upgrades but I liked the urinal touch. According to a league source, I'm told they will change the drain covers each game depending on who the Ravens play.
