They want to repeat which is rare in the NFL. It's leaking out from the locker room and I love the positive focus and goal. I think this will motivate them to work extra hard and stay focused. Of course saying it doesn't mean it will happen. As we know a lot have to come together for a team to run all the way. It's the mindset that I like. That is hurdle #1 to overcome. This will not be a complacent Champion. "Yea I know the games only been over for 2 minutes, but will you let me through so I can start studying film for next year?"

Finally somebody in the media sees that the Ravens will be better on defense. After hearing Schlerith say the Ravens lost too much to make the playoffs I thought, "Do you have any idea who they added and where?" Ray, Ed and Pollard had grown too slow. Kruger only started 7 games and is not an every down player. Carry Williams is just an average Joe. Of course it's Hensley at ESPN who knows the team...but at least somebody is bold enough to step out of the herd... "You calling me an average Joe?!"

This is good news because you don't easily replace a player like Burk. Gino was fortunate to have last year to learn and develop. All Joe needed to shred defenses was that extra half second that the playoff O line gave him. It's back minus Burk.

I heard on the radio that Davis is on pace to hit 58 homers and 140 rbi's. That's fantastic. Another caller said he was listening to Toronto radio and they said the Jays will have the chance to test themselves against the "Big Boys"! How times have changed!

Yea...real ugly... They're closing in. The destroyed surveillance cameras and video, smashed cell phone and cleaning crew all say "Cover Up". Now everybody deserves the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty. It could have been one of his friends who did it. But...he doesn't look too cool right now.

They have: Ravens/ Steelers Manning/Brady...what bs...the rest of the players on the teams don't count. Bears/Packers Falcons/Saints 49ers/Seahawks Harbaugh/Harbaugh....? Add anybody else that you think is worthy....like Mexico's Team/Indigenous Persons... I think Ravens/Patriots should be on there....

Good point on the Tavares Gooden comment cleetz. I don't have high hopes for McClain. I hear Bynes had a good off season and spring camp. He could be in the mix. As for Brown...he needs to be what they hope he will be. Not the next Ray Lewis, but a fast, sure tackling, sideline to sideline LB with good coverage skills. Good in those categories will fill the bill given the defensive line he will be working with. He doesn't have to be great this year.

Pollard is on another planet...and it's ok.... He doesn't have a full deck. I see what he's trying to accomplish and it's a good thing. He's basically telling them they have to do what the Ravens do. He's playing the respect card to motivate players. I get it... It's good to want to be physical and intimidate offenses...but he needs to learn how to cover guys first. It's not intimidating chasing a receiver who got behind you or a runner whom you couldn't wrap up.

If I were King...he's my #3 WR and full time #1 Kick and Punt returner....and maybe let him replace Ray's dance coming out of the tunnel... Now I'd have others spell him at times depending on the game, how much he's needed at receiver and how many plays he's had...like a pitch count that you have with a pitcher.... "...11 seconds...watch" Of course this leaves me scratching my head as to who wins the #2 WR spot. He better be damn good.

I don't want to lose Smith's vet experience...he needs to be on the field. As a rookie, Brown is unproven at this level so it will be fun to watch him develop. If he starts it will be because he earned it....so he has a big mountain to climb during camp. Right now he is not a starter. He is behind everybody who I mention in the next sentence. He's better or will be, than McClain, McClellen, Carr, Copeland and Bynes...as I see it. So he's a starter in the 3-4 front with Smith when the season begins. But not at this time. At this moment he's at the end of the line.

Manny needs to be on there.
