I've given up on Taylor. Last night was his opportunity to shine. His big chance. 8 for 22 with a whopping 3 ypp. He hasn't learned how to be a Pro QB. He reverts to his college game. Size does matter for him. He gets lost behing the big lineman and can't find a passing lane or his receivers....so he runs. One nice deep ball every 10 passes won't cut it. Painter looks decent because he knows this offense and plays against the 3's. Granted he's playing with 3's so that makes it hard. If he could be accurate, then he'd be a solid backup QB. But he's not accurate...at least consistently. Give me the guy who knows the offense and can play the position. Let him and Caldwell work on mechanics.

Can someone please tell me what the hell Smith is doing? 506 yards of offense for Detroit.....506 yards! What good is the no huddle/hurry up offense if the defense can't get off the field? The 2 for 15 on 3rd downs really makes this Ravens offense scary. Punt! Put the D back on the field...for an hour.

He's the only guy making plays. Now...you will see Jimmy Smith and Cary Williams backs on the highlight reels.

cleetz...believe it or not but there was a time when the Orioles were regular contenders and the Baltimore Colts were contenders and Baltimore Sports fans were living the dream. We followed both rabidly. I will say this...the penent races and World Series definately over shadowed football in September and October [for me] but come Sundays I had no problem being a nervous wreck at the Colt games. Memorial Stadium was still the Worlds Largest Outdoor Insane Asylum. There is room for great success for both franchises in this town...in fact, when that happens, it doesn't get any better for a Baltimore sports fan. Throw in a good Teps basketball team and you become totally spoiled. Now you got me started on the memories...

It's Aughust 15th....this is too good to be true. This has been, and remains, a very enjoyable season. There are a ton of Oriole highlights and storys so far. All the 'no name' players who have contributed to wins...the bullpen...the one run game wins...the extra inning wins.. They continue to win when statisticly, they should be bottom feeders like the Red Sox.

He and T.O. can have a new reality tv show: Sorryman and Slobbin on Skid Row.
