The Saints have a better defense and offense than the Ravens. They attack for 60 minutes. The only thing the Ravens haven't done this season is get blown out...and I can see that comming Sunday. That's my read on the way things have been going. I think we've seen the Ravens best football. I think the players have a ton of pride and will give everything to win this game. There is still a ton of talent on this team. They will show up ready to win. They won't quit....and neither will I in supporting them. I'll be out there yelling my face off...and I'm not going to curse them because the players are giving their all in my opinion. I just think it's too late to turn this trend around and get better.

When the players can do this and get away with it, then it's time to change the coaches because they've lost the team.

Jamal had a big ass, road grading line. Ray doesn't have that...no J.O....Mulitalo,...Zeus. No Heap hurts too. McLain is not 100%. Ray has no holes...he bounces around trying to find one. It's true...this is a totally weaker line without Gaither because too many players are out of their best position. Oher at RT. Yanga at RG. Gaither at LT. Throw in an aging Birk and this line got weaker and worse in one year...and it all starts and ends with the line. Coaching is part of the problem too. The scheme is not right. They wanted faster more athletic guys and now they can't beat anybody up. They are not wearing out anybody. Defenses are not worn down going into the 4th. So they keep everybody in to block. Guess what? Now you can't use all your receiving weapons...they are rusting away. All of the above are reasons this offense can't explode...in my mind.

Another guy not getting it done in the run game is Birk. The Ravens have Pita and Dickson who can run and catch...why use Chester as a TE. That just telegraphs it's going to be a run and then when Pita and Dickson are in, "it's a pass".

They started off pounding it and that first TD drive was sweet. They had good run/pass balance right up to when they made it 14-0. Then they got pass happy...forgot about the run...look at the drive sheets...scored a TD but that was it.

Everything is normal...every year at this time I'm a nervous wreck. And that's a good thing because it means the Ravens are playing meaningful games/football in December. I'm sure the Saints game will be a relaxing event....(my weak attempt at sarcasm)

I'm not worried about the Aint's. Harbaugh and his staff are not stupid. They adjust. They now learned that a 21 point second half lead is not enough, so they'll make sure it's 28 against Brees before they put the offense to bed.

You can't game plan the 2010 "Somethings Not Right" Ravens. It takes a whole half to find out what part of the team will cave in after looking terrific.

That's their identity this year. I surrender and I'll take the win. Like the rest of humanity, you have to accept them with their flaws because it's not going to change this year. They are not going to get it all together....but they do find ways to win. A lot of playoff caliber teams look ugly winning...and losing this year. The Steelers, Yets, Jags, Chargers. Bears, Packers and the whole NFC West. So I'll take the win, surrender and accept the 2010 Ravens as they are. No more wishing. No more trying to see improvement. No more unrealistic expectations.
