    Potty Mouth Rex

This is not the public image of the Baltimore Ravens that I would want to see.
  2. Good thing that none of us talk like Rex... "Hey Dungy!"
  3. Hey va....just that Hale has a very sore butt....landed on his tailbone and they don't know if it's broke yet. Nobody's reporting on Ngata....that's good news. Answer for the Question of the Day: Kruger had his first sack in the 2009 pre season game against the Indigenous Persons....I think it was on that Hawaii QB Whatshisname in the 4th quarter.
  4. Thanks...I love photos. Here's another one...typical McLain...it takes have the D to pull him down.
  5. From the radio and what I've read, Cam Cameron gives himself a failing grade as a signal caller for the 2nd half. He claims he didn't put his players in the best position to succeed. Then it seems Kruger was beating up the left side of the offensive line today...Oher, Grubbs and Chester. Anybody getting concerned about Oher at LT? On the other hand...Kruger just might be stepping up...the light bulb might be going on. Question of the Day: When did Kruger get his first sack? Hint: it was a pre season game. If you know the answer right away.."you have no life"... Hale And Ngata tore each other up with Hale getting carted off the field and Ngata appearing dinged up. Webb made it clear he won't play in the pre season. He's practicing but said "Do you want me for 10 games or 10 years?" I think he's thinking PUP list. Flacco lobbed a ton of TD passes in 7 on 7's. The Ravens are now "Englands Team"... http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2010/08/ravens_popularity_spreads_to_england_1.html It's clear Cousins is our RT with Gaither playing the invisible man. Cam is hesitant to move Yanda as he thinks Yanda can be one of the better guards in the league....moving himn would hurt his development. He said Cousins is consistant day in and day out and that helps his job as a play caller. Dickson might have an edge in the TE battle based on a solid outing Thursday night but Pitta is not far behind. He's been making some great catches in camp. 8 penalties for 55 yards Thursday night...I see no improvement in something that has got to improve. Hey! The Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons hung 42 points on the Lowly Bills. They are sure to test the Ravens secondary. Shanny likes a 50/50 run pass ratio. Good test for the Ravens. Could they get McNabb benched again?
  6. This sucks because when healthy, he can play well. He has the size and wingspan to really help this line. I'm not counting on him for this season...something is wrong with this dude...some secret...the mysterious weight loss....toe thing....he's damaged goods. "Look...just kill the guy."
  7. Critical position....I guess his elbow is shot.
  8. Bullshit papa. They are built as well as any team who is a valid Super Bowl contender. All the contenders have weaknesses. All of them. They (O line) sucked Thursday night but this is the same, young group who did an excellent job last year. They'll only be better...this was a wake up call. Plus the Ravens basically were not in running the ball mode. They had no game plan for the Panthers....their plan was to execute a lot of pass plays against whoever was on the field. Flacco did throw for a 120 yards in only 3 series...for a complete game he would have been lights out. Now...Joe taking 2 sacks in that 3 series...unacceptable. Can't let him get beat up like last year and affect his game.
  9. Barnes has always impressed me with his speed, high intensity motor and nose for the ball. He's a playmaker. He gave Pro Bowler Jorden Gross more than he could handle and finding that ball on the goal line and getting it first is a skill you can't teach. Kelly Talavou had 1.5 critical sacks.. Pryce saw limited action but I was watching him. He had his way with whoever was in front of him. I love the idea of rotating him in this season. Keep him fresh and he will be productive. 7 Sacks...not too shabby... Paul "Nightmare on Russell Street" Kruger 1.5 Nakamura and Zibby had 1 each. Both played very well...I was impressed. Divens 1....good game.. Talavue 1.5 Gooden 1. Cody impressed me. He's not Sam Adams...yet. He played offense, defense and special teams. The media can rag on the shape he's in but they are wrong. He had a minimum of the center and guard on him at all times...sometimes 3 men and Cody was moving them. Can't say much about Suggs, Ngata, Gregg, Ray, Johnson ect...they barely played. I couldn't keep track of Cory Redding...anybody know how well he did? This tells the story... QB.............QB Rating J. Clausen 8/15..... 41.0 H. Cantwell 6/17 ... 48.2 M. Moore 4/7 .......68.8 T. Pike 0/1........-39.6 "Hey coach...ok if I go over and dry those puppies off?"
  10. Even Harbugh couldn't sugar coat it. "I was disappointed on our pass protection, with all of our groups,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said after the game. “[We] really couldn’t do much in the second half, offensively, because we couldn’t block anybody. That was disappointing.” I think Michael Oher got a wake up call that he needs for the upcomming season. He got schooled by an average end and spent the rest of the night brooding alone at the end of the bench. They better wake up because week 1 they face a far superior front 7 in the Jets. It sucks even more if Cam has to keep his TE's in to block. That hamstrings the damage this offense can do. It means the line is sub par.
  11. Yea...I feel terrible for Kindle too. His dream was becomming real and then the carpet gets yanked out from under him (no pun intended). This is a big loss for all involved. All is not over...this has to play itself out and hopefully Sergio makes a full recovery and can continue his dream. This could have gone down as one of the Ravens best drafts...maybe their second best.
  12. I saw some Boller in both Bulger and Smith. Make a nice throw followed by 4 bad ones. In Smith's defense he had it bad with a scrub O line and pouring rain. On Bulger...I'll give him a pass for now as he's learning the offense and he's a timming and rythmn QB. His release was real fast but you could see he hasn't got the timming down with his receivers. The fumble was awefull. He should know better than to carry a ball like that. This disturbs me... I left the game at halftime and missed the rain...smart move.
  13. Paul "Nightmare on Russell Street" Kruger looked good getting 1.5 sacks. I liked what I saw from Cody. He's not Sam Adams but maybe in a couple of years he will be. Sloppy game...too many penalties...fumbles...missed assingments by the O line...back up QB play was shoddy. Graham was good on the kick offs. Travis Fisher and Williams covered well against 2nd tier WR's. Zibby was a beast...Nakamura too. How about Dickson...nice game. Nice to see Joe Cool with his new toys. I feel less excited about trading Willis after watching Palmerlie and Steele....huge talant drop off. I think they will be best served by holding onto Willis.
  14. They wanted to work on the passing game and possibly shop Willis as trade bait....so why not save Rice.
  15. Observation....sloppy....sloppy.
  16. "Drop down and give us 10."
  17. Hey...how about Prince on that punt return! The guy has moves and great balance.
  18. "White Men Can't Jump" Reitz. Gruden calls the QB draw and dammiy if he wasn't right!
  19. Half their team is down with injuries.
  20. Thanks cleetz. I liked "go out and kill teams." There was a great interview with Joe and others by the NFL Network who was out there today. I heard it on Serius and it should be up on NFL.com tomorrow.
  21. One Thing Must Change for Ravens. The 2009 Baltimore Ravens made 115 penalties for a league leading 1,094 yards! They are beating themselves...1,094 yards worth! Stop It Dammitt!!!!!!
  22. The Ravens Super Bowl window should be open for a good while. What happened this year is Ozzie thinks this team is close so he brought in valuable depth/insurance for this season....but he did not break the bank or mortgage the future. He'll probably be doing that next year and the next.
  23. I think at trade can happen for a corner but the Ravens will have to give up one of their LB's or DT's. They have to find the right partner...a team in need of a DT or LB that has a surplus of corners.
  24. The Ravens are only about 6 months older than the NFL team average age....and 1 year from the youngest....so it's really no big deal. http://forums.extremeravens.com/index.php?showtopic=1844 For almost every ageing vet the Ravens have solid depth developing in the pipeline....corner and DE are weak.
  25. So...who went? Was there any hitting? Anybody look like this?!
