Over reaction. Some agent or agents put this out or are behind this. I saw the video. He was in no more danger of getting hurt than any athlete playing basketball. The worst that could have happened is that he tripped and fell and skinned a knee or an elbow.

Can the 2021 Ravens have a productive and effective passing game? The 2020 Ravens were last in passing yards and last in attempts. They were middle of the pack for passing touchdowns. Forget about co-vid and injuries, all teams had to deal with that. With teams stacking the box in an attempt to stop the best rushing attack of 2020, the ravens passing attack failed to take advantage of this great opportunity. Their 7.2 average yards per pass was middle of the pack of 32 teams. 27 passing TDs was also middle of the pack. These numbers and rankings are deceiving when you consider they had a league low 406 passing attempts. Yet most fans will agree they left a lot of points on the field and missed opportunities as a passing offense. The original question raises several questions that need to be answered in the affirmative if the Ravens are to have a productive and effective passing game in 2021. Can this new and rebuilt offense of line protect Lamar and give him adequate time to throw? How long will it take for them to gel? Will a new wide receiving core of Watkins, Bateman, and Brown be a significant upgrade over last year's group? Last year, all defenses had to do was defend Andrews in the middle of the field and Marquise Brown. That lowered the odds of the passing attack doing any damage. Can they build a better mouse trap this year? Will Wallace and Duverney provide solid depth? How long will it take Lamar to gel with them? Is this the year that Lamar improves his mechanics, like Josh Allen did in 2020, and be a dangerous passer to all points on the field? This last one, and it's a big one, is a cloud that hangs over Greg Romans head. He's shown he can scheme epic rushing attacks, yet he's failed to create very good passing attacks. He's got James Urban, Bobby Ingram, Chris Hewitt and Tee Martin. All good Coaches. All the pieces seem to be in place. Can Roman and his coaches develop the players and the schemes that will raise the level of effectiveness of the Ravens passing attack to that of a team that can go deep into the playoffs with a possible Super Bowl appearance? Really, I think that's most fans expectations. We see too much talent and opportunity on this team. So many weapons. This team will run "at will' over everybody. Yet that is a time-consuming process. The Ravens are going to face a lot a very good offenses this year and they're going to have to put up a lot of points to win. The Ravens were number seven in scoring in 2020 and number one in 2019. Improvement in the passing attack would be a nightmare for the rest of the NFL. Can this be the year?

Throw in Ricard and Boyle as blockers. Then add a dose of Gus, Lamar and Dobbins.....

The O's must feel ok with their pitching prospects in the farm system. They went for bats again. Maybe they're afraid to take/gamble on a pitcher that high. On paper this guy looks good.

Still following the O's every day. Not watching as much yet I am watching today's game. Currently 4-2 Sox up. Mullins successfully bunted in the first and then Hays hit a home run. Later Mullins stole a base....he can do it all. Hays hard a great double play. He caught a line drive out in right field and then unleashed a fantastic throw to 3rd to throw out the runner trying to advance. Long throw right on target,

I'm not worried about any defensive line the Ravens face this season. The 2021 Ravens have one massive, powerful Offensive line. Road Grading MoFo's. They can use more depth at tackle but the interior O'line could be the NFL's best. Lamar's safe. Check out this good article on Ben 'Big Country" Cleveland. The Ravens are damn lucky that he fell to #62. A serious steal. And Zeitler...love this guy.... The right side looks very solid... Bozeman at center....another monster who is a leader and admired by his teammates. Stanley remains the only mystery starter. Is he healthy?

The Ravens have a fantastic schedule this year. 9 games against playoff teams. It's loaded with great competition. And....this is a must see season. The Ravens are totally loaded with talent. About as much as we will see...I'll call it a "4-5 year stacked roster". It doesn't happen often. It's as close as you can get to having an on paper roster for a Super Bowl run. So we have and awesome Ravens roster colliding with extremely talented and dangerous teams week after week. A fans dream. The clunkers are on the road. Detroit, Denver, Chicago... If you want to skip 1 game then maybe it's the Vikings. More importantly, you need to get out regularly to a safe haven where you can yell for 3 hours at the top of your lungs and not get taken away by the men in white coats. This will purge and cleanse you. Couple that with a Ravens win and you too, will have this feeling.....

Almost every year, the day before camp starts, there are signings from the remaining unsigned players when they report in person. This is not a hold out or an issue to be concerned about.
