Here's hoping that the Ravens get down to business and kick some Patriots ass today. I hope that Joe saw Sanchez burn the Bengals stacked box and does the same today against a weak Pats secondary. Here's hoping that the Ravens play smart and don't commit the costly penalties and turnovers. Here's hoping The Ravens pass defense has their best game of the year. I'm talking about the pass rush and coverage...it will take a great 11 man effort but they can do it. Finally, here's hoping the Ravens have good success running. They should. I like the matchup...the Ravens have a very good chance to end the Pats season today.

The stat I care about is points allowed and the D is #3 in that. I think the D can be better next year and they are the weak link as far as age and turnover. Reed and Pryce may be gone. Ray will be 1 year older and even he can't beat Father Time. Guys like Kruger, Ellerbe, Barnes, are getting valuable PT. Suggs should be bback healthy...and better. Don't forget Ayambadejo and Nakamura will be back Then there's the draft and FA to bring in a gem or two...Ozzie will find them...Maybe a safety like Areanas. The D needs to get younger so it can play faster so turnover in 2010 is necessary. Yet Webb will be back and Foxworth has settled down and played well. It's Revis who makes the Jets D work. He shuts down one side of the field so they can bring pressure from anywhere. You need solid corners or your D is limited. The Ravens can have that next year. So they can blitz more....use more schemes....more looks. Also...Mattesons second year with these guys....that will pay off. He's done a great job to have these guys at #3 given the injuries and loss of personel. The offense will be better and that will help the D. This should be a soild team next year.

A dumb blonde was standing in front of a soda machine outside of a local store. After putting in sixty cents, a root beer pops out of the machine. The blonde replies, "I'm blonde, I'm smart, I have a good job, and I'm staying in first class until we reach Jamaica." The disgusted stewardess gets the head stewardess who asks the blonde to leave. The blonde yet again repeats "I'm blonde, I'm smart, I have a good job and I'm staying in first class until we reach Jamaica." The head stewardesses doesn't even know what to do at this point because they still have to get the rest of the passengers seated to take off; the blode is causing a problem with boarding now, so the stewardess gets the copilot. The copilot goes up to the blonde and whispers in her ear. She immediately gets up and goes to her seat in the coach section. The head stewardess asks the copilot in amazement what he said to get her to move to her correct seat. The copilot replies, "I told her the front half of the airplane wasn't going to Jamaica."

ExtremeRavens Update: Viv reports that at the opening minutes of Ravens practice that the media is allowed to see, Ravens QB Joe Flacco was seen hobbling around, stiff, and with a slight limp. He believes it's the hip and lower leg injuries that have slowed Joe down this season and that we'll never know how hurt Joe has been while playing this year. He said that maybe Joe wasn't warmed up yet. Bottom line: Joe's beat up... but so is everybody else this time of year. We should be aware that Joe's mobility is limited. He's going to be slower setting up from the snap from center...slower to set his hips, slower to move around the pocket and escape the rush. "I haven't seen Clayton all day...anybody know where he is?"

I felt terrible for Colt McCoy...he's lived his life for this game. Gilbert had my sympathy too...a freshman thrown into that fire....he got my respect too. It would have been a different game.

So she's still robbing....and whoever is in power, (however many), that is allowing her to collect that pension, is also guilty of stealing. I'm so pissed at hearing this but..whatever...Sheila is not alone...most of them steal and abuse their power.

In the last game against the Pats, the Ravens threw way too much...47 times to 17 rushes...they gained more yards per rush than pass...6.8 to 5.6 per pass. Just FRIGGN'N RUN THEM OVER!!!!!!!!

Good! He deserves that. Willis is hot...they should play him more on Sunday but give Ray Rice at least 20 touches...he was killing the Pats averaging 9.4 yards per rush and 9.8 per pass. They are too old and slow to handle him. BTW...I want Willis back next year...because I remember 2001 when Jamal went down...Bookins, Terry Allen...let's not go through that again.

It should be a hell'ov a game. The Ravens will show up and this is a close to even matchup. I say 'close' because the Pats don't lose at home and neither does Brady in the playoffs...factor in Bellichek and that makes it 'close' with the Ravens on the short end. They have never beaten the Pats. The Ravens are fired up to win and put a stop to the above trend.
