What more can be said? The media started talking about it in October...they couldn't wait until the off season when it was relevant and there would be tons of time to kill. After a week they said it all. Problem is they didn't stop, even though there was a season going on and important games to discuss. It's actually hilarious listening to the same repetetive banter as they try new ways to say the same thing...hilarious until you start screaming "Enough!" Now...I think that is their plan...to beat us into submission until we are screaming for them to "talk Orioles...anything!"...do the annual "The Orioles are going to be really exciting to watch this year! They should win 70 games.(up from last years 60)"

Wow! That is incredible actually...hire Al "The Pusher" and win a championship. One after another. The secret was burried a long time. I can see the competition being pressured into jumping on board the steroid route if they wanted to have a shot at titles. This really is a "dope" story...getting and using drugs to reach a high (championship) irregardless of the cost or consequences.

After all the success the Ravens had last year plugging in players, they might be thinking about getting younger and healthier personel. The coaching staff did a great job last season developing talent and they must be confident that trend will continue. We are heading toward another 20-25% roster turnover. I'm not panicing because I remember 2002. Only Ray, Boulware and Cmac returned on the D and it was still good. I still would like to keep Rolle because he provides depth, leadership and great experience. I do understand the durability and Cap concerns. It's scary to think of a weak secondary after watching one in '96, '97' and '98. The Ravens couldn't win...even with a very good offense. But....they may be thinking 'get younger/get healthier/get more consistant performance'.

I'm warming up to your suggestion colin...after reading Prestons blog on Rolle and after the solid deal Ozzie made for Washington last year, Ozzie might be leaning in the direction of your suggestion.

It's all speculation...it certainly could be reality...but it's just in the specultaion stage. The Ravens need to keep Rolle because they have no depth behind Walker and Washington. Actually you can't count on any of them to stay healthy all season (Rolle included). Rolle's $4.5 mil CAP figure isn't too high.

He may be part of the reason McAlister was let go.

That's one down....I guess Suggs is drowning his sorrows...close to $19 million dollars between last year and this...it's just not fair of the Ravens to do that to him.... I believe Ozzie.... Now.......I'm real worried about Brown...I think he'll be offered crazy money on the market...if that happens then the money will be there for Ray and the most of the rest. Let's get our heads on straight here....the most valuable lineman is the left OT...then the right OT...then your guards...then your center. The Ravens can not afford to inflate and destroy the salary structure of their line.

Brown handled Hainesworth...that's how good he is. Lock him up and you have a very good O line for years to come. Give him guard money....what's the big deal considering what he brings to the line and this team. He's intelligent, a leader, good person excellent lineman...got to have him. The Ravens need offense because I think the D will decline some....Flacco needs to stay upright and the Ravens must be able to run the ball. It all starts and ends with the line. As for Suggs....$10 million dollars will heal his feelings. That's a lot of love.

I've been going back and forth on this...right now I think Ozzie will let Ray test the market to find his value (and suitors). His value might be lower than he thinks and his suitors may be losers like these guys....

If that's the case...keep Rolle. @ $5mil he's a bargan at corner.

Keep in mind this is fluid...the Ravens just gained $8 mil by releasing CMac. Other teams are making CAP cuts to gain more money.
