I see a 2-3 point winning margin...Ravens win. I feel at ease somehow about this game. I believe we will get every ounce the Ravens have...which is enough. Now...you can bet I'll be nervous as hell during the game (I always do), but I've been feeling good about this one ever since I looked at the worst case senario early this week. I looked into my concerns and they were not what I thought they were. Yes...18 sraight weeks has taken it's toll but this team is still very deep and strong...they believe in themselves, their practices, coaches, gameplan ect. That's all that matters. The Ravens we have seen this year will show up.

I just saw the Ravens video "Game Plan Offense AFC Championship" with Cam Cameron. It's on the Ravens site...http://www.baltimoreravens.com/ Good video...Cam says a running play isn't conservative...it attacks a defense. (Rex agrees...he says that the team that runs the most in the playoffs, wins). Cam said they won't serve up the same stuff because the Stealers are familiar with it. He says they will be creative and aggressive, but smart.

The media, 'experts', Vegas, NFL fans....all think this Ravens team will fold against a 'fresh' Stealer squad. We've read the reasons as to why this is the end to the Ravens run....17 straight games, mounting injury and depth concerns, 2 losses to the Stealers this year and a 3rd for certain comming up, away game at Heintz Field...yada, yada, yada. I think this 2008 Ravens team will play with the "What's Our Name?" passion and intensity for the full 60 minutes tomorrow night. The "Ray Lewis Factor" will manifest in this team and onto the field. His spirit, passion, intensity and fearlessness is what this team has taken on...to a man. From all reports I can gather, this team has gone about their business like they have for every game this year. They are loose, not uptight, and having fun. They are not intimidated by the Stealers. They are confident and believe in themselves. Yea...they can pull off the upset...but it won't be an upset to them. I read fan complaints that Cam's game plan and play calling become too conservative during the playoffs. I've heard this as a negative about him as the Chargers OC when they hit the playoffs....as a reason why they never went all the way. He's called a conservative game for the last 2 playoff games. Now, as far as I'm concerned Cam is the best thing to happen to the Ravens offense since we got the franchise. He's done a fantastic job this year...he and his staff. The Ravens and Stealers know each other very well, play the same style of smashmouth football and matchup evenly as evidenced by the close scoring games this year. Will Cam stick to the conservative game plan to avoid turning the ball over while waiting for opportunities to be created by the defense? Or Is Cam going to go all out to put the Ravens on top this time? By that I mean use the Suggs package, spread the field, some new running and blocking scemes, more screens to slow thw pass rush ect. There's "No Tomorrow" This it it. It won't be cool if the Ravens fall behind and have to play catch up. They need to score first, establish a lead, and keep the heat on to come out with a win. 2 yard runs won't do it.

All the "Experts" are taking the Stealers so I feel real good about a Ravens victory tomorrow night. I really think Purple Hell will break loose.

I heard him today on the radio. He had great things to say about the Ravens organization, players and Bichiotti during his stay here. He said he was torn between the two when it came to this choice. He also said he'll feel good for whoever wins and bad for whoever loses Sunday.
