  2. Yes. You can bet Harbaugh is not happy with Roman and the passing attack. He's not stupid.  He can't say that publicly. He has nobody "in house" to replace Roman and It's too late in the year to bring a new OC in from outside.

Don't look now but the Ravens defense is #5 in points surrendered. With a rookie DC. Wink's unit is 26th in yards surrendered and 14th in points surrendered. So let's give Harbaugh some credit for letting Wink go. You know he'll let Roman go this off season.

  3. You can't fire any coaches right now. There's nobody "in house" who can make a difference.

Tee Martin and Keith Williams have not coached the receivers well enough. Roman, Martin and Williams have not developed productive receiving routes that fit their personnel. Kerry Dixon and James Urban have not helped Lamar develop to the next level. They work for Roman. It's his responsibility to see these players are getting proper coaching, development and production game day.

  4. Hey ... We need something to cheer about. :yeah: It's not all that bad.:gorave:

Roquan Smith is the only NFL defender this year with at least four sacks and three interceptions.
Baltimore is one of four teams this season that have yet to allow a 100 yard rusher in a game.
The Ravens have allowed 14 points or fewer in six games this year, including three straight contests. The Ravens are second-most behind San Francisco who has eight games.
23-7 is a Ravens record in home games versus the NSC during the John Harbaugh era's 2008
.The Ravens defense has produced 42 sacks this season ranking as the NFL's fifth most.
Baltimore has recorded multiple sacks in 10 consecutive games marking the NFL's longest active streak.
Baltimore has an NFL high 74  rushes of +10 yards or more this season.
Baltimore Ravens have played 199 regular-season games at M &T Bank Stadium since its 1998 opening. Saturday will be the 200th regular-season game. Baltimore is 140 and 59 at home during this time.
The Baltimore Ravens have scored in 333 consecutive games which is the NFL's longest active streak and dates back to9/30/02.

The Ravens are favored by 7.5 points over the Falcons, per @CaesarsSports.

Since 2019, Baltimore is 20-3 straight-up when favored by 7 or more points in regular season. Only losses when favored by 7-plus points: vs. Browns (2019), at Patriots (2020) and at Dolphins (2021).

Since coming off IR two games ago, Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins leads the NFL in rushing over that span:

    J.K. Dobbins, Ravens: 245 yards (8.75 per-carry average)
    Christian McCaffrey, 49ers: 227 yards (5.67)
Derrick Henry, Titans: 225 yards (5.92)
    Josh Jacobs, Raiders: 192 (3.92)

With Pro Bowl games fan voting complete, here is where Ravens offensive players ranked in AFC:

    Tight end: Mark Andrews (2nd)
    Guard: Kevin Zeitler (1st)
    Center: Tyler Linderbaum (2nd)
    Fullback: Patrick Ricard (2nd)

Note: Lamar Jackson was not among the top 10 vote-getters at QB.

  7. From Hensley: The Ravens haven't had a wide receiver catch a touchdown pass since Week 3. :nono:

We're kind of pissed off right now about what happened [Saturday]," Zeitler said, before adding, "Any time [the defense] only gives up 13 points, there should be no team in the league that we lose to. You should not rush for over 200 yards and have three points."

I hope Lamar is healthy enough to play. That would give him and the coaches 3 games to be playoff ready ... if that's possible. I'm not confident. The Ravens make bad teams look good.

    Sound familiar?

This game went like almost every other Falcons game this season: Their QB play wasn't great, but their nearly unstoppable rushing attack kept them in the game. The Falcons (5-9) totaled 231 yards on the ground with 139 of those coming from Tyler Allgeier, who bulldozed his way through the Saints defense. The problem for the Falcons is that their offense got off to a slow start behind Desmond Ridder, who led them to just three points in the first half in his first career start. Although Ridder wasn't great, he did come up with a clutch throw on fourth-and-5 late in the game, only to watch Drake London fumble the ball away. The Falcons had a chance to make a statement in the race for the NFC South title, but they let it slip away.

Ravens now have no chance at No. 1 seed and only have a 0.7% shot at No. 2 seed.

Here are more likely outcomes ...

    No. 3 seed: 37.7%
No. 4: 0% (AFC South winner locked in here)
    No. 5: 21.8%
    No. 6: 24%
    No. 7: 15%

As of today, Ravens are No. 5 seed (and would play at Titan

Interesting, the media has not mentioned it, nor the team, yet. I wonder if they sweep this under the rug, let it die sow

    Did it happen?

I watched the Jags too and thought there's an ascending team that is fun to watch. The Ravens?

You have to remember the Jags have been bad to horrible for a long time. From 2013 to now they have only won %28.5 of their games. They finally are getting it right. Which getting a franchise QB with the 1st pick in the draft will do for you. Suddenly you look smart. Unless you're Cleveland.

  9. How ESPN computer gives the Ravens a 79.8% chance to win is beyong my understanding. You have to score points to win.

Image result for ravens vs falcons

    Team Stats             Falcons      Ravens

Corrected Ravens' playoff scenarios from @ESPNStatsInfo:

    Ravens can clinch with:

Win + NYJ loss + MIA loss
or Win + NYJ loss + NE loss
or Win + NE loss + MIA loss

    Ravens play host to Falcons
    Jets play host to Jags
    Dolphins play host to Packers
    Patriots play host to Bengals

  10. I had a feeling the Ravens were going to lose to the Browns because it happens all too often that they lay an egg in important games. All too often that they make mediocre teams look good. I didn't say anything because it seems like an ongoing Ravens curse.

The coaching was shitty from top to bottom. Harbaugh and Eric are the architects of this mess. How much change will be coming this off season?

    It could be massive.

I know that I'm at odds with most of you about retaining Lamar ... I want him locked up IF the guaranteed money is not crazy.  Otherwise let him go. Hell ... he may want out of this mess.

Yet Huntley showed me what's in store for the future if they let Lamar go. There will be a string of "Huntleys" throwing to a string of unproven receivers.

  11. Solid B from me. Look at how many good players he has brought in. This roster is deep. Depth made them competitive last year.

I will admit that he has some misses too.

Looking at every Baltimore Ravens draft pick under GM Eric DeCosta (usatoday.com)

Stoudt is always missing from these lists, yet he fills an important need. He needs to develop and improve. He can be better.

This guy might be a Hall of Famer one day....

May be an image of 2 people, people playing football and text that says 'tylerlinderbaum Rookie Tyler Linderbaum adapted well to the physicality of his first Ravens-Steelers matchup. He earned the Ravens offense's top grade from @PFF with a 91.3 --his his highest grade of the season by far'

  12.  The Ravens have to generate pressure and hurry a still rusty Watson. It takes time to get used to game speed and Watson is just getting back with no training camp.

The Browns have the receivers to hurt the Ravens. Pressure is the key. The run the ball, control the clock, avoid turnovers and penalties.  .. and don't drink the water!

Browns are -5 in turnovers. Ravens +14.   Browns 8th most penalized team in NFL. Ravens 23rd.Interpretation?  Ravens find ways to win. Browns find ways to lose.

  13. LOL!  :fishin:

Considering the state of the Browns' linebacking corps, J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards could both eclipse 100 yards."

"After watching Baltimore impose its run-heavy will on the Steelers last week, Cleveland has to be very concerned about its rush defense that ranks 26th in yards per carry and 30th in efficiency. Even if the Browns know it's coming, will that even matter?"..What Pundits Expect in Ravens-Browns Week 15 Game (baltimoreravens.com)

  14. I'm sure Watson will break out sometime, probably in a massage parlor, but it won't be Sunday against this Ravens defense.

" In his two starts, he has led a single touchdown drive, averaged just 6.4 yards per pass attempted, been intercepted twice, and posted only a 70.2 passer rating. He has not been good yet and needed two defensive touchdowns and a special teams touchdown to get by a one-win Houston team. The Browns own the second-lowest offensive total EPA (expected points added) in the two games since Deshaun Watson returned from his 11-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy for committing sexual assault, as defined by the NFL.
