  1. they've stormed the Capitol. They are inside. There are armed standoffs.
  2. I think today is the last day that Trump can attempt a Coup....which he is in the process of trying to do.
  3. I spoke too early when I said, "So long Autocrats, Sycophants and Seditionists." I forgot that they remain in Congress and are intent in making today a dark day in American history.
  4. Politically. They almost won as spineless sycophants. As far as human character, living a life built on principles such as honesty, they are Losers. Good Morning! Democracy works! So long Autocrats, Sycophants and Seditionists. Perhaps...and I'm being very hopeful here....the American consciousness is on the rise. American citizens are beginning to see through the muddy fog of lies, deceit and false information coming from the President and his Sycophants in Congress. Perhaps we are witnessing the final scene in "The Emperors New Clothes"... "Look at the King! The King...the King is in the altogether as naked as the day that he was born." I had lost my faith in the American human intelligence quota, honesty and character. By a small majority, but this is how hope begins....by a spark...Freedom, Liberty and Democracy remains alive. What a huge change in 24 hours when Democracy has been fighting it's greatest challenge to continue to exist. It looks like the winds are changing. Never in my life have I witnessed a time so astoundingly dark. We are still in that. This morning, the sun rose.
  5. I hear it's only 2 players plus the coaches.
  6. 6 of those teams are in the playoffs so it will be 8 games against playoff caliber teams. then you have Herbert and the Chargers who are on the rise. Perhaps Burrows will be back and 100%. I like it. Great competition makes great teams.
  7. There's bad blood between the HC's also. Remember the Titans standing on the Ravens logo at mid field? All you need to know about the Titan defense:
  8. Did somebody mention ESPN? They are going all out for this game. Crazy man!
  9. The Ravens are 0-2 against the Titans in the Lamar era. He's 0-2 in the playoffs. How can this 23 year old young man not feel the 800lb gorilla on his back? "We still got things that we want to finish," Jackson said. "It's just the beginning for us, to be honest with you." 67.2% Ravens win percentage. That's an easy to say, nice clean way of looking at this game. But wait! This is not a stat game. It's a long standing, snot knocking rivary that dates back to the days when both teams played in the AFC Central. There's bad blood between these 2 teams despite what the players say to the media. A couple of photos should tell us all we need to know about Sundays game. We and our families do not want to see this! Tell the kids to hit the floor and close their eyes! Todays easy and obvious statenet: Wink and the Ravens defense are not getting any sleep this week. And the Game? "Ahhh. It will be won in the trenches." Eddie George. Derrick Henry. It's the same impose your will game. You can say those games of the past have nothing to do with Sundays game and that would be true. Different teams with different personel. Or are they actually different teams? Both teams are high scoring offenses (Titans #4 Ravens #7) with a dominant, bone crushing running game (Ravens #1 Titans #2). The Ravens have the better defense and having Williams and Campbell back is huge. The Ravens, have by far, the better Special Team unit. The scary element here is if the Titans get their running game going, then that opens it up for Tannehill's play action....and a track meet of points. The "Good" Tannehill always seems to show up against the Ravens. He has 33 TD's, 7 INTs and a QB rating of 106.5 for this season. And he has some big, good targets to throw too. If "Good Ryan" appears, then the Ravens have to win in a shoot out. See why the defense is getting a lot of restless nights this week? Now to be fair. the Titans D is not getting much sleep this week either: If it's a ground and pound game, then the scoring will be lower due to time consuming drives. That may put the fate of a Ravens win at the end of the game in this young lads leg: Strike the pose!.. He can get a little intense at times... But generally he's a "Zippity Do Dah" kind of guy.... If this game comes down to Tucker, rest assured my nerves will be shot. However the good news would be that the Ravens won!
  10. There's 7 new teams to the playoff field. Bears Browns, Colts, Rams, Steelers, Bucs and the WTF's. Usually 4 new teams who missed the previous season qualify. Adding the 7th playoff spot is part of this increase.
  11. Here's a teaser: I like that. Revenge Tour.
  12. Consider this: He seems relaxed and happy...loose, yet very focused. "I see him getting that 0-2 in the playoffs monkey off his back."
  13. oldno....Williams And Campbell were out for that game. Not this time. The Ravens will have a full D line rotation to keep them as fresh as possible. I forgot to add team depth. Covid, IR, and injuries had the Ravens digging deep to find players to fill roles and while they lost some games during this period, they did play close with chances to win. Now they are healthy and they can expand how they defend and attack the field. They have found their winning formula over the last few weeks. Lamar has abandoned trying to be whatever they were trying to make him be earlier in the year. This is a relaxed, confident group finally having fun on the field. They are a formidable opponent for all the formidable teams they will face. This simply means that they have as good a chance to win any playoff game. I'll put up a Titans thread tomorrow. In my world, the 24 hour rule is in effect, meaning, today is Purple Monday. A day to enjoy yesterdays win which had astounding numbers put up yesterday by the Ravens. Mind boggling like the Ravens having the ball for 40 minutes! The D was hardly out there. BTW: anybody can put up a Ravens/Titans thread if they want to talk about this upcoming game right now. No need to wait. I just do it because Dee threatens and intimidates me.

    Sedition

    I love that idea.
  15. It's time to take a brief look at the State of the Ravens at the end of the regular season on the eve of their first playoff game against the Titans. The level of competition that the Ravens will face in the AFC playoff field is now the cream of the crop who survived the regular-season. All of the playoff teams are very good. Let's see what the Ravens have going for them as they begin their 2021 playoff run. #1. Hit the Playoffs Healthy and on a Roll. Check! The Ravens came out of Sunday's game without any injuries and at this time, it looks like they will have a full roster available to play in Tennessee for the first time in a long time. The Ravens ride a five game winning streak during which they dominated their opponents. That's what great teams do when the level of talent that they face does not match up to that of good teams. These were all "must win games" that the Ravens had to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. They've been facing one and done for weeks, answered the challenge and enter the playoffs with the proper mindset and focus. in short: they are on a roll. Check! #2 Defense Wins Championships. The most important defensive stat in the NFL points allowed per game and the Ravens are number two at 18.9. Sundays defensive performance was dominant: Five of the top 10 NFL offenses are AFC playoff teams. This includes the Ravens offense. A stingy, physical defense is a necessary ingredient to defeat teams of this caliber. The Baltimore Ravens defense fits in this category now that everybody is healthy. Check! #3 Special Teams Depending on how you rank special teams efficiency, the Ravens are right around the number two slot. They have the best kicker in the history of the NFL and one of the best all time punters. Check! #4. Offense The Ravens are the number seven scoring offence in the NFL averaging 29.6 points per game. Three points behind the league-leading Packers. They have the number one rushing attack in the NFL averaging 191.9 yards per game. This is a serious strength entering January playoff games where they'll be on the road in possible cold, wet, windy weather. Behind a big, physical road grading all offensive line the Ravens have settled on the three-headed rushing duo of Lamar Jackson, JK Dobbins, and Gus Edwards. Lamar is the first NFL quarterback to ever have back to back 1000 yard rushing seasons. Defenses have to keep their eye on him at all times due to the threat that he poses as a runner. When Lamar is on the move in the pocket, it creates numerous opportunities for his receivers to be open downfield and in recent weeks Lamar has been exploiting this. In short, teams can stack the box in an effort to stop the run and Lamar, and they are now getting burned by the big play downfield. The Ravens offense has morphed to a new level. Check! "What is your view on this Coach?" "I'm glad you asked and might I add what a privilege to be on here." "We're done having kids Lamar so I can't name any after you." This 2020 Ravens team believes that they can play at a higher level and it seems that they've taken to heart their motto for this year which is to "Finish." As good as all the fc playoff teams are, they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Other than the Bills, the Ravens looked like the most balanced team in the AFC. As fans, we're always going to want more. However, you have to like the situation with the Baltimore Ravens at the moment. They did not come limping into the playoffs. They smashed the door down and roared in. They are hungry and focused. They are going to have to play more disciplined and focused for 60 minutes. They will have to play faster to match the playoff intensity. Limit mistakes, costly penalties and turnovers as these are playoff killers. And like all playoff winners: They will need a little Luck. I like their chances.

    Sedition

What is about to happen in Congress is Sedition pure and simple. This is a very dark day in the history of the United States coming up.
  17. Here we go!
  18. Look at You! Look at this beautiful message board! Look at all the wild and crazy shit we can do! And not be banned! RedZone was wild today. Skippy was in his glory. A record 96 touchdowns scored. Although my eyes are heading south, I think I will watch the WTF team game now.
  19. We have all week to worry about the Titans who gave up 38 points today, 37 last week to the Bengals, who only scored 3 points today, against who????>>>...get my drift? GO RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. OK>>>>>>Ravens are in! 5 seed. We'll see who they play, Titans or Colts during this next slate of games on NFL RedZone. Cigars... Cigarettes... Pot... On the House! For Everyone!!! Just head out back to the well manicured ER yard...
  21. If you play in the NFC Least it's more than enough
  22. Ok...#4 all time...not too shabby.
  23. Uh...that Giants 1950 record?... it was against the Colts! Ravens at 403...need to get to 408 to be #2 all time
  24. Huntley is no Lamar impersonator . At least not this game. Somehow it's fitting to have a guy named Bowser on the Ravens defense. He's having a good game too.
