I agree. If this were Jamal, he would be blaming his poor performance on not getting the ball enough. Willis has had a good attitude the whole way and I think he deserves a second chance to come back next year in shape and ready to go. Also keep in mind that he had injuries other than the knee. He got his eye poked out to the point of blindness and he has taken a lot of hits to the ribs.

I really don't blame Donovan for not knowing the rules. Although I do believe he scapegoated the situation with his ignorance (and then was stupid to publicly comment on it!) I do think players shouldn't bear the burden of knowing every nuance of the game. HOWEVER, the coaches are. I think McNabb shouldn't have gotten flack, Andy Reid should have. Judging by the multiple flags on non challengable calls that he made vs. the Ravens, the guy has no clue what is going on.

I am so happy for Mark. He is a truly nice kid with a good head on his shoulders. He isn't like your diva receivers that we see in guys like TO and even Housh. I was always rooting for him to do well and know he got some flack from the fans. Here's to many more productive years for the gentleman! I think we got the next Steve Smith IMO.
