I wouldn't be surprised that he is hurting for money. Because of the Atlanta incident, what he didn't pay in settlement, he paid in legal fees as well as lack of endorsement money throughout his career (only recently has he shown up in more adverstisements). Tthe kid situation doesn't help.

Also I don't think Ray is stupid. I think he knows his long term future is in Baltimore. I would think he would want to stay in a town where he is more of a "big fish in a small pond" rather than a place like say New York where there are a lot of sports heads clogging for attention. Ray likes a stage. Baltimore is that stage. We love him. Rest of the country hates him. For a couple million he may get elsewhere, he will get more from this city if he sold his poop in a jar after he retires.

yeah I am not getting this. I think everyone expected Flacco to be a 2 or 3 year project. Instead he stepped in and did WIN a game or two for us. How about that comeback in Cleveland? Also you got to think about the style of football Baltimore has played and will continue to play until our defense sucks; that style is run the ball, manage the game and don't make mistakes. Flacco did that and then some. Pittsburgh has an A+ defense. I am surprised he scored the points he did! Ryan was drafted with the intention of starting day one. Different expectations so you can't compare the two. I look forward to years to come. Flacco and Ryan will be the next Brady and Manning. Hopefully Flacco is Brady and Ryan is Manning...I want more Super Bowl rings than MVP awards!!!!!

Ron Meeks resigned last night. I think that would be a good pick up for us. WE already got the run defense with Ray and Ngata in the middle. Meeks can get a pass rush for us?
