  1. I'd be for trading a middle round draft pick for a CB that's available with another team, if one is available. As the article above states, we're looking at Frank Walker time if both Jimmy and Webb are out.
  2. Listening to the radio after the game, it sounds like HARBs might have down played Jimmy's injury last night saying it was a chest injury but afterwards they were saying on radio he was still coughing up blood and Jimmy supposidly told Mike Preston he couldn't remember anything after the first series. Jimmy made a great play on Dez but landed hard on his head than the back of his shoulder and he was a long time getting up. If it is a concussion, it could be lingering. I have a bad feeling about this. The Ravens site says he's OK but is he?
  3. True but JJ is also a star WR as we saw last night. Deonte could save some wear on him not to mention injuries. A lot of players make the team strictly on their special teams talent. For some, it's the only way to make it. Maybe Deonte fits that bill. Just saying, ya know?
  4. LOL - Maybe I spoke too soon. Maybe I shouldn't have spoken at all as a newb-lol but I think Deonte just found a home tonight with those returns. There's always a need for a return guy to take it easy on JJ. Oddly, Deonte was the WR Ozzie pimped all last offseason to step up for Boldin but it didn't happen. As for his legal issues, his case was dismissed and the Ravens were very pleased about that. The owner of the car said it was his stash and the cops couldn't even proved Deonte was smoking it. Taliaferro's case was dropped too, so out of 5 off-season arrests, 2 cases were dismissed. No criminal record at all on those dudes. Back to the WRs, I found this quote in The Sun. Offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said this week that the team has to make a call on the "back two … or three" receiver spots. "However it pans out, it's going to be a tough call," Kubiak said. "That's a good thing."
  5. Ravens will keep 5 or 6, probably no more but Butler could go to the practice squad with maybe someone else. It's time to part ways with Deonte and LaQuan. They had their chances.
  6. Great comments by Willis and I can't wait to see that play action pass. We've already seen the 2 TEs hitting the middle in the SF game as advertised by Kubes. I just wish more people around Baltimore believed the same as Willis in reference to Joe being a $100M guy.
