cravnravn Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Most Overrated players today How many times have we seen Polamalu lower his head for a huge hit only to go flying right past the ballcarrier and sometimes into something like a water cooler? If this guy would focus on just making the tackle instead of trying to make every play a highlight reel, he might be more effective, like he was in the late 2000s. Today? He's as overrated as they come. Read more at http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2013/06/11/troy-polamalu-and-the-15-most-overrated-nfl-players/?5qA3omsJJcqze850.99 Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I want to see what he is like this year. He changed his off season work out and went from not lifting over 20 pounds to actually training. Towards the end of last yearhe was looking like troy again. There was an article that stats he has been dealing with this calf issue for like 4 seasons now and that was his main focus this off season. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 If you want a good laugh go to the bottom and look at this guys top twenty list of dbs all time. It kills anything this guy has ever written. But if you want to go by this guy troy is the third best db ever and ed reed is 15th. Oops kinda shot yourself in the foot with this one crave. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Reed wasn't a defensive back? I thought he played SS/FS. Troy doesn't play corner and is ranked 12 spots higher. These are articles written by fans just like bleacher report. They are fun to read but I don't take them seriously I have troy and reed at around 5A and 5A1. It's to hard to say who was better because they play the game so differently but they both were the best at what they did. Quote
